Bought an appliance online from them. Only after I paid did they give a delivery date which was 7 weeks away. They are taking back orders, but pretending its in stock. If you look here at other reviews it is a common occurrence and hasn't been fixed indicating they are doing it intentionally...deceptive

I’m disgusted with farmers. All I want to do is pay the card off and shut down the account. Everyone I speak to is massively difficult and it seems impossible to work with them. It would be helpful if customer service had English speaking people too. It’s very hard to communicate with people who cannot speak English properly. I’m so disappointed and angry that you have given me the run around. After 45 minutes I still have not been able to move forward. I don’t recommend anyone dealing with farmers ever. Do not get a card, interest is too high snd then you are trapped. It’s a joke

Bought a drier 7 months, once a month I send them an email asking why it hasn't been delivered and they basically answer "maybe next month", for the last 2 months they've ghosted me so I eventually had to do a creditcard chargeback to get my money back

I've never seen items priced up and don't think its good practice / legal to reprice merchandise to a higher price!
I bought Jockey underwear and the original price $18.99 and the sticker reprice $21.99

I would like to share my experience and service provided by manisha she was extremely help full when we had to exchange some clothing would highly thrilled service given by her as she went extra mile give her kudos
She is a great asset to Farmers.

Went to Farmers Newmarket wanting to buy Dermalogica. No one again at the counter, asked a person who looked like a manager if anyone was working at counter.....greeted with a flat NO. And no further discussion if I could be helped... this is the 3rd time I have attempted to buy goods at Farmers beauty......back to Smith & Caughey I go much better service there

Farmers consistently have the slowest delivery time of all the retailers I’ve used in NZ, frequently taking over 7 days to get an item dispatched. It’s pretty poor form in 2023 and you STILL can’t use their rewards vouchers online!

Avoid purchasing from them online whenever possible.

Worst click and collect service ever ordered somthing on the 22nd Of April today is the 8th of May
I received an email from their HO
saying that my order has been instore since the 1st of May

7 April. Ordered "click and collect" item stated to be in stock at Coastlands Farmers. Confirmation letter said pick up would be 7 working days.
21 April. Advised Farmers that the wait was unacceptable, please cancel and refund.
Customer Service reply same day saying refund would take 1 to 2 weeks to process.
27 April. Email from Farmers saying "Good news your item is ready to be collected". I replied, pointing out the cancellation and that I was awaiting a refund.
28 April. Apology email stating they had lost the parcel but had now found it and would process refund.
2 May. Email from Farmers. "A friendly reminder. Your item is ready to be picked up. Unbelievable! Replied with usual explanation. Now losing the will to live. Farmers replied with yet another apology saying the refund had just been confirmed. Whew!
4 hours later, another email: "We are pleased to confirm the items you returned from order 0021225486 have been received. Please bear with us as we complete our returns process. We'll update you shortly after we have completed our review."
4 May. Email from Farmers. A friendly reminder to pick up my online order!!! Rang their 0800 # and gave some poor soul an earful.
8 May. Phone call from Farmers Paraparaumu reminding me to pick up my item.

Worst online shopping retailer in NZ.

Farmers is consistently the slowest retailer to ship I've encountered in NZ. I did my winter shopping for my kids recently from 4 retailers all arrived to my rural address within days except Farmers. When queried they said it may be another 2 weeks until my order is even dispatched. Customer service very rude about it too. Will not be shopping there again, wish I learnt my lesson last time this happened. Honestly this isn't 90s provincial NZ and people have choice these days about where they shop. Being slow rude won't cut it.

I bought some tshirts from them online. I got them delivered. 1 week later Farmers sent me in the post some kind of store credit card I do not want and a letter about some kind of programme.
Turns out they stole my personal data and used it in the real world against me and without my permission. This is not OK and Farmers is not a legitimate company but a front for data theft. I recommend you stay well away from these dishonest creeps and do not give them your personal information -- not even for an online purchase. Because if they stole my name and address and recorded those, they probably did the same with my payment details too. Just dont get mixed up with these scamming dirtbags is my advice. Not worth your money, not worth the risk.

Saw online and ordered 2x Luca Quinn bedside tables - walnut through the Oamaru store. The usual price is $499 but I got them on sale for $149 each. The quality was not good - marks, damage, missing veneer in places, joins at corners not meeting. I returned for replacement - the second two were better but not perfect. I decided to keep them but would not have if they were full price. If I had seen one on display with a $150 price tag I would not have purchased. Item is in no way worth anywhere near its regular price of $499. It would be good if customer reviews for items could be seen online on the page where it is for sale so other customers are aware of the quality. Customer service was great though - fast delivery and staff very helpful, no problems at all with returning items. I feel it is very important to note the one star rating is for the quality of the item only, I would give five stars for the customer service.

FARMERS is the worst store to shop online!!! I ordered a baby car seat last week and still haven’t heard anything from them until now. I contacted customer service and they said they have to wait for shipment from East Tamaki Distribution centre even tho online it says they have it in stock at the store that I selected for pickup!!! Now I have to go in store myself to get it and wait for my online refund 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ worst service ever!!!!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO SHOP AT FARMERS EVER AGAIN!!!!!

Purchased duvet cover during 50% sale online. Returned to online store and asked for replacement, not refund as product was faulty. They issued a refund. 50% sale was over so product is now at full price. Emailed customer service and asked if they would honor the sale price I had originally purchased the item for, they would not, said to wait and see if it comes back on sale, and not only that told me they had sold out. When I went onto online store, shock horror, item is instock. Liars!

Felt ripped off when saw Gym low cut black socks on red dot special $24.99 down to $12.49 as per Farmers advertising. Not marked by staff in Newmarket store with “red dot” so didn’t sell as per advertisement

Staff were rude when asking about an item being in stock. Items say they are in stock but they don’t actually have the item. The items are still on display in the shop despite them not actually being in stock.
It’s 2023 - how can their computer systems not cope with having an up to date stock level? And why display stuff they can’t sell?
