Disappointing experience

Disappointing experience. I ordered faral from Faralbox this year as my tried & tested supplier was not supplying to Germany this year. Customer service was very proactive till I made the order. Despite ordering on 12th, I didn’t receive it till 24th. The company lacks the details of the process, leadtime & costs. I had to pay import duty of 20€. The faral itself is very expensive. Secondly, packaging was quite bad as the faral packets could easily move in the box, leading to anarsa & karanji damages. This was already mentioned to me by tge DHL
Delivery guy. When I brought this to notice of customer service, I was promised a response within 24 to 48 hrs, it’s already 96hrs with no response. Lastly the taste of faral is barely OK, although thikat sev was excellent.

FaralBox made our Diwali memorable ,as usual

I am ordering Diwali Faral and other food items from FaralBox since last Diwali. The taste, packing are of high standards and delivery is well before festival (I orders well in advance & get early bird discount also)
I receives prompt order confirmation, dispatch and delivery intimations.
Thanks team FaralBox for making our festivals amazing.

Not very happy with quality of faral

Bhajani chakri, karanji were really good. Special pohe chevda was ok. Rest were really bad tasting, rock hard anarsa, soap tasting besan laddu, 30$ got wasted. I won’t order again.
No complaints regarding delivery, all the items were delivered before due date. Also I got prompt reply to my query via email.

Prices are Up, Customer Service is Down

Ordered Family Faral box for Diwali 2021 and we were excited and happy to receive our Maharashtrian treats. There were a few stand out items, a handful of solid items, and only one or two items we did not care for. Overall, a great service to provide to Indians outside of India. I recommended this company to all of my family and friends for Diwali 2022.

On trying to order this year, the price of the Family Faral Box has increased by $80 USD (6500 INR)!!! This is WAY overpriced. Those to whom I recommended this service feel the same. I contacted customer service over several correspondences to clarify pricing, quantity differences and any loyalty discounts for previous customers, but was given robotic and sometimes conflicting answers. For $240 USD, I can easily support local businesses in NY this Diwali, who are also hurting with the COVID pandemic, and especially so after requesting for resolution by any manager and no one caring enough for my business to contact me personally. Sad not to support FaralBox this year.

I am Rohit, Founder of FaralBox. Sad to read such a review, especially from our returning customers who know the quality & service levels that we are known for. I see you have 3 issues - difference in price compared to LAST YEAR, not being able to get additional discounts (more than the offers we are already running) and lack of support provided from our side. I would like to address these:

1. Compared to last year our prices are ~10% higher owing to the inflation that the world has seen last year, but still very competitive given the kind of product, packaging & service that we provide. We are proud to say, we are amongst very few Faral brands that put customers before seasonal profits. Our products are made using sunflower oil & packed with 3 layer nitro filled packaging which is a first, compared to any other vendor in the Diwali Faral business. Our seamless online ordering experience is unmatched to any other vendor, where you have to deal with cumbersome wire transfers & multiple to-fro to confirm your order.

2. Not being able to get additional discounts - Our 10% OFF discount is running at the moment which you can use. Alternatively you can also redeem your smile points. Unfortunately you cannot redeem 2 discounts at the same time, the same was informed to you via email. We acknowledge this is a technical limitation that we have forwarded to our development team. Also you can check all on-going offers on our home page at https://faralbox.com/pages/offers and we hope you make the most of it.

3. Lack of support from our side - There have been 2 emails from your end which have been reverted back, one in 7 hours and another in 2 hours. Giving the time difference we try to be as quick as possible to answer your queries. I will be happy to attach the ticket here if need be.
