Easy to get a quote and purchase insurance. I have heard good things about the cycle breakdown aspect and, whilst I hope to never have to use it, it gives peace of mind to have it in place

I've used ETA since 2013. Only had to call on them twice, and each time reinforces the value of a good insurance policy with a company that cares for its clients.

Easy to buy bike rescue cover. Recommended by Audax event, and something I'd been looking for. Easy to purchase, and hopefully I won't need it but do feel easier knowing that the details are now lodged in my phone.

Breakdown recovery
I had a major breakdown ( the half shaft snapped in two) at a junction on a small country road. I phoned the ETA breakdown service and told them i needed recovery. They pinpointed my exact position and told me that a recovery vehicle would be with me within an hour. They actually arrived in 45 minutes as ETA use the most local service available.I was regularly updated by text as to the recovery vehicles location. When the recovery vehicle arrived everything went very smoothly. My car was taken to the garage that would be doing the repair as it was very close to my home. And i got a lift home with a very cheerful driver in a massive lorry!

I chose ETA for my cycle insurance
I chose ETA for my cycle insurance (2 expensive e-bikes) this year attracted by the inclusion of Cycle Rescue (which I already had) and the no nonsense clarity and fairness of their policy. Taking advantage of a special short time reduction it was a no-brainer, especially seeing as ETA campaigns for ethical transport promoting the views of cyclists in particular. So a good organisation to support.

Great response to fix a problem
Having not received my insurance documents straight away - the staff at ETA picked up immediately and the insurance documents arrived on the first working day after payment

We are sorry there was a delay in sending your documentation. When you bought cycle insurance on Saturday afternoon, the confirmation page will have displayed a summary of your cover - however, a minor glitch on our system over the weekend meant the full documentation was not sent until first thing on Monday morning. Please rest assured that your cover was active from the moment you paid, but we do apologise for the delay. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience - we're here if you need us.
I was very pleased with the service…
I was very pleased with the service received from this company for a recent Bike Theft. They followed through with me all the various steps of the claim even to the extent of checking with me that I had collected my bike to my complete satisfaction. I can highly recommend.

ETA comes out tops for me…
Very easy to setup my mobility scooter recovery insurance at a good price. Hope I never need it but having the cover gives me peace of mind to be safe.
