Poor response

I ordered a photocell based on the part number that I had, I found the excact item with a photo that I needed under the part number that I had. When it arrived, the circuit board shown in the picture was not included in the package. I called customer service and got a recording that said to leave a number and someone would contact me within the next 24 to 48 hours (maybe just 24 hours). In any case its been a week and I have not heard from anyone. I held off on my review pending what happened with that discussion, but no discussion therefore this review.

Customer service

I like the pricing and availability of the products. I order a few items and received only one . But after 25 minutes of trying to call and speak with someone ( which felt like I was getting the run around ) someone answered and pointed me to the right department. After no successful contact via phone I sent an email that was answered 20 to 30 minutes after sending it. Which at the time they need it to check there stock to see if I was telling the truth, it also said they where over on there stick count and will send out to me asap. Which I did get a notification that is had shipped that day. but it pushed my job another week , I did respond with thanks. I wish they would have apologized for the error on their end that goes a long way personally to own there mistake .

I apologize that a 20–30-minute response time and the need to verify what happened internally did not meet your time requirements. Not a complaint

I’m adding this update to my original review below;

I’ve received the relays and though I haven’t tested them they appear to be damn fine. Thank you for the good customer service.

This is the second and final request for a review of the service I’ve experienced. I’m giving a middle rating because my order is still pending fulfillment even though it was stated that my order would ship within 2 days. I’m not complaining - I ordered December 26th and didn’t expect any action during the holidays. But as of January 9th, no activity.

Thank you for your feedback. The typical timeline for your order is about 2 working days, however, the holiday schedule the manufacturer was working with impacted their timelines and they failed to communicate this to our team when they processed your order.

Our customer Service team has been in contact with Pilla Electrical to nail down a firm shipping date, and they will sed over an email as soon as they have an answer from the manufacturer.

Not sure what the point of paying for 2…

Not sure what the point of paying for 2 day shipping when it takes your company almost 2 weeks to ship the product that was in stock anyway. Last time I buy a thing from this company.

I see where you placed this order online, and on the product page, right below where you clicked add to cart, there is a notice that says this item ships in 1-2 weeks. You ordered this on November 3rd, and our customer service team transmitted this to Pilla Electrical- the manufacturer- that afternoon.

We sent you an email with the approximate ship date of November 10th less than 2 hours after you placed the order, and Your order shipped out exactly 1- week later. We sent you the tracking information and I can see from that, where the order was held up by UPS- the shipping company- due to operating conditions. The order was held in Sylmar.

Even with the delay in transit, which was caused by something outside of our control, you still received the order in the 1–2-week timeframe that was quoted on our website.

We likely could have resolved this with a phone call or email. Thank you for your feedback and have a great afternoon.

I accidently ordered the wrong sensor

I accidently ordered the wrong sensor. I called within the same day and got a call back to verify what I needed. Everything went very smooth and now I am getting the correct part.

I also let you know that I searched all of our phone records and emails and that was the first communication from you that I could find. I am looking at your order, which you placed online, and where you ordered four (4) of the Normally Opened (N.O.) contact blocks, and that is what you received.

I am going to send over the email confirmation of your order which our system sent you at the time the order was placed, and I will include our customer service team. They will then begin the RMA process for you to return the mistakenly ordered contacts and we will send you 4 or the Normally Closed (N.C.) ones.
