Finally
I made my order on the 28th of December. After waiting a few days I emailed them (1/8) and found that they were out of my product and was expecting it next week. Finally shipped on 1/13 with no tracking number. I finally received the package 1/21. When I order again from them I will give myself a month leeway to cover any other problems.

I apologize that the A4 size Card Stock was briefly on back order. We work hard with our suppliers to keep inventory on hand. I am sorry that there was some unexpected demand for this and we fell short.
We post availability online and reach out personally as well to be sure our customers know when something is on back order. But it is disappointing when you need something hard to find and have to wait.

Quick delivery, terrible final price
My guess is that it has nothing to do with Empire Imports and everything to do with Canada, but when I ordered 20 dollar item I had no clue that I will be charged $25 in duties on delivery. If I had any idea of this I wouldn't have ordered.

i can't review anything yet
i have not received my order yet. i don't appreciate receiving an email to review a product I don't even have yet. It should have been here yesterday. it shipped on nov. 5 and i'm on the east coast so it should have been here in 2 - 3 days. still no sign of it and no tracking information from empire. an email with the tracking number would have been helpful.

Still haven't received my order OR an update
I live in the U.S. I get it--it'll take longer to get my items. However, I've received two e-mails now suggesting I should have already received my order. I sent an e-mail yesterday asking for an update and only got an e-mail back saying someone look into it. I gave my order number...it should be easy to plug it in and tell me where my order is or when I can expect it. The inability to give an up-to-date status of an order, to me, is unacceptable.
UPDATE:
Empire reached out to me and we have everything sorted out. Apparently there were a significant amount of technological errors, which made it seem (to me) that my order had not been shipped. I have now had it confirmed that it has been shipped and should be delivered shortly. Further, the customer service I received has been exceptional. International companies are bound to have issues, but those that deal with little glitches with grace, poise, and respect are a-okay in my book. Well done, Empire. Thank you.

Good Product, But
My first time with Empire. Live in Europe for 6 years and have several furniture pieces that use European standard files and folders. They have great products but price is a bit high and shipping is also very high.

I ordered some folders and selected rush shipping. I received a call not long after I placed my order to say that because of my office's proximity to the shipping location, rush shipping wouldn't be needed, and they adjusted my shipping costs. Our web site does indicate that they will be back in mid-summer and I see that we also called you to make sure you had seen the notice. That being said I am still very sorry we could not supply this for you immediately.
