Box was terribly damaged but binders were ok
When the box arrived I thought I would be in trouble ... but the binders were in good shape. Because of the high price (in Germany they are only 25% of that price) I would recommend to box them better. But anyway I'm glad you sell them. Thank you.

Excellent service, Excellent product
I purchased a file cabinet that required European sized hanging folders & ordered them from Empire. They were exactly as described, arrived promptly and in good condition. I find that my standard sized file folders are less likely to hang up and are more easily filed and removed now that they have a bit of wiggle-room from the slightly larger hanging files.

Within moments of placing the order got a call from customer service about problem with payment method. Had mistyped expritation date. Shipping and Damage
I purchased 2 reams of A5 paper. Each ream was improperly shrink wrapped, causing damage to about 15 sheets per ream. I needed the paper for an immediate work project, so I did not contact customer service for a refund. Shipping was about $5 per ream - too high, considering the quality. If the products had arrived fully usable, this would have been a 5 star review, even with the high shipping costs.

Quality service
A5 paper is really hard to find, and it was my luck to have found this company. I had several questions prior to the sale which were promptly answered in a courteous, helpful manner. The order was transacted seamlessly, and the paper arrived well, actually quite a bit earlier than I had expected, well packed in an appropriate sized package.
I have an HP 4200 printer and was trying to print A5 sized inserts for a program, but my handcut preparation of A5 from letter-sized paper caused periodic jams as the printer has rather tight tolerances. Empire's precut A5 paper thankfully arrived in time for the project deadline, and the copies went off like a charm with no jamming whatsoever.
The quality of the paper is good with a nice finish, and I only wish that it were a little heavier, around 32 lb wgt. The company said it was looking into offering this in the future, and this would make the product outstanding and very professional-looking.
I shall certainly keep this company on my go-to list!

No Follow-Up
I placed an order on 2/1/16 and received a confirmation email that the item was on back-order and would notify me when the item would ship. Over three weeks later, I don't receive any communication from Empire Imports about my item and I email them. I receive an email two days later (now, nearly one month has gone by) stating that my item shipped that day and provided tracking information. Nothing against that customer service representative as she did her job, but my concern is that coincidentally, my item shipped at the same time I reached out to them. I felt that as a customer, I was forgotten about. I understand things are back-ordered, but communication is key. No time frame was given on how long Empire Imports expected to receive the item. Was it one day or six months? Disappointed in their process.

We agree that having out of stock items marked as out of stock with an expected in-stock date should be followed up with personal contact. When you placed your order on February 1st Kathi had sent and Email to you. Unfortunately there was a space in a portion of your Email and it did not find it's way to you! We are truly sorry.
The shipment from Germany of the item you purchased was received and shipped to you just as soon as we were able to - I am very sorry that you felt forgotten about. You were not at all. We hate when items are on back order and we are working to improve.
