Friendly and encouraging
We are really enjoying our first season arena eventing. The staff are so friendly and encouraging and give inexperienced riders and ponies time to complete the course.
The practise area is very well organised.
Thank you for giving my daughter the confidence to continue. It is well worth our 1hr 30 min journey (and leaving the house by 6.30am) and we are looking forward to the next event.
Thank you.

Hi Eleanor, thank you for leaving us a review and your kind comments.
Wasn't overly impressed....
Wasn't overly impressed with course building and saw a rather nasty accident of horse running back into warm up arena due to insufficient fencing. Won't be rushing back to the arena eventing

I’m sorry to hear that you weren’t impressed by our Arena Eventing course. We invest a great deal of time and money in making our facilities the best they possibly can be, and our competition courses are no exception – they are carefully planned and constructed, and also checked off by a hugely experienced judge. We received many compliments throughout the day about how the course looked and rode, but of course not every course suits the strengths of every horse and rider combination. The courses are designed to be challenging – but after our usual post event statistical analysis, the only fence that would be considered “influential” in each of the classes was fence 2, a straightforward upright showjump, where many riders rolled a pole due to excess speed.
With regard to the incident you refer to – this was a freak accident that occurred when a rider lost control of her horse. The fencing system in place meets industry standards and has been without prior incident. Of course as after any accident we have taken time to review our safety procedures, and will be implementing a new and more robust system that goes above and beyond to safeguard the wellbeing of our competitors and staff.
Always so helpful and fantastic…
Always so helpful and fantastic courses. I just wish you were nearer!
