Absolutely brilliant, my son loves attending the classes.

My son started this year and he absolutely loves it. We have also noticed a positive change in his confidence. I have two more little ones lining up to join when they are old enough.

My son has been training here for 2 years and looks forward to every session. Every lesson is challenging and fun.

I am grateful to have found this hidden gem 💎. It has empowered, encouraged, motivated and made me feel like I was part of a caring family from day one. Me and my girlfriend have started training here a few months ago and never looked back, the teachings of Professor are priceless and passed down to us by Coach Dan, an amazing individual that will support your mental and physical growth throughout your journey here.

I had never heard of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu till I met my fiance, let me tell you he wouldn’t be who he is today without EKBJJ, that sanctuary is a heaven to him mentally and physically he is an different person without it.

I began to become curious to what Gracie Jiu-Jitsu at EKBJJ was myself, and upon having a couple of lessons from my fiancee I fell in love with it myself, I found that the mindset that he has been taught by Professor Eddie Kone is unreal. It has even helped me to have a more balanced life myself.

With that said, I have spoken to Professor Kone on the phone multiple times and he couldn’t do anymore to make me as a female practitioner feel welcome and protected and he is a pleasure to spend time with.

EKBJJ is more than an academy, it is a way of life that I cannot wait to be more involved in when my time allows as I genuinely believe in the message and cause!

My daughter has been training BJJ at the Eddie Kone academy for 6 months (disrupted by lockdowns). The sensei (coach) is excellent and it has a friendly atmosphere. She is learning self defence, getting fit and most importantly, enjoying herself.

My journey began almost 8 years ago, I was in a very bad situation and my life felt it had no meaning. I was taken on board, baggage as well, and moulded in to some thing that I honestly never thought I could be.

Professor Eddie Kone not only teaching legit elite level Gracie Jiu-Jitsu but he also inspires and teaches us to pass on the gift of Gracie Jiu Jitsu to everyone around us.

It is more than "how to beat some one up", it is a way of life and an art that if you understand all its components will save your life, but I personally believe without the mindset of the head instructor and the way the details around mindset are passed down to us all, it wouldn't have the same power.

Clean academy, excellent teaching methods and an all welcome atmosphere make for a "has to be seen to believe" level of amazing! I cannot speak enough good things about EKBJJ.

This is a life saving academy of learning, taking people from the grass roots of being able to tie their belt, to elite level mma fighters.

I began training at the Eddie Kone Jiu Jitsu Academy in January of 2020. After 20-odd years of training in just about every other martial art under the sun (starting as a kid at the school Karate club and experimenting with Wing Chun, Muay Thai, boxing, traditional Japanese Jujutsu and spending several years training at Shaolin Temple UK), I had my first experience of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at another martial arts academy in North London and, like most people, was immediately stunned by its potency as a fighting system. I quickly decided to commit fully to learning the art, but was frustrated at the lack of a structured syllabus or any teaching of the fundamentals at the school I was attending. So I went looking for real instruction, and was lucky enough to find myself walking through the door of EKBJJ.

From the moment I came in for my first free trial class I was immediately struck by the warm welcome and the feeling of having come home. The Beginner level classes with coaches Dan and Elroy are the perfect introduction to the system; come in as a complete novice and within a few weeks you will walk out with newfound confidence and a set of skills that will improve you in life both physically and mentally.

The all-levels classes with Professor Eddie Kone represent quite simply the best education in martial science available anywhere. I've had some truly inspirational teachers, from 6th Dan black belts to real live world-champion Shaolin fighting monks. The Professor puts them all to shame. It's not just his warmth, and his ability to clearly communicate his mind-blowingly detailed knowledge of the art (which comes straight from the source - here you will learn fighting Jiu Jitsu precisely as it was taught to Professor Eddie by the Gracie family themselves); I firmly believe that the measure of a great school is in the conduct of its students, and my fellow students at EKBJJ are the most courteous and mutually-respectful men and women I have ever had the pleasure of training with.

I can't put it any simpler than this: if you want to learn to defend yourself, to test and expand your limits, and to find out what you're really capable of with the help of like-minded and respectful friends and training partners, you need to learn Gracie Jiu Jitsu; and that means you need to come and be part of the EKBJJ family. There is simply no better teacher, and there's no better school.

My feelings can't even describe how I feel about this amazing place, I have been going their for 3 years now and to be honest I feel very grateful and honoured to have Professor teaching us a beautiful art and self defense, we are family and we look after each other while we are training.

This place I call my 2nd home.
