The school is amazing. Very high standard of teaching and very friendly. The gym is also very, very clean and has white kimono only rule for adult classes. I like that.
I’ve signed my two boys (6y and 8y old) and they enjoyed it so much I’ve signed up for adult classes as well. Now I do more classes than them - haha.
Highly recommended for all ages and skill levels :)

I can't describe words on my love and passion for Gracie Jiu Jistu especially training at the EKBJJ HQ Academy been training their for 5 years now and to be honest of the best Academy in London very authentic and traditional you can never find any better the environment and the energy feels so good and everyone is very welcoming and always focus and commitmented to learn. But not only I see it as a learning environment but I see it as a lifestyle and where it benefits for everyone.

I went to a free trial class and it was brilliant!

I'm a woman in my early twenties and came with my friend - we both had an excellent time, and were welcomed into the class. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. The coach (Dan) was really kind and a brilliant teacher!

I would definitely encourage other women especially to try the class - even in one lesson we learnt some basic self defence that can be used effectively on the street.

I don’t think I could find a better academy for my 3 kids. They absolutely love it! The teaching is simply fantastic and the whole atmosphere is welcoming and supportive, for both the kids and parents. Sensei Tic's teaching style is inspirational – both technically brilliant and supportive. I can recommend Eddie EKBJJ to anyone looking for a Jiu-Jitsu school for their children.

Eddie KONE is a fantastic teacher and Coach. He’s knowledge is vast and continuously expanding. The atmosphere at the academy is welcoming and has a friendly atmosphere. I recommend this club to anyone wanting to learn practical Gracie jiu-jitsu for street SelfDefense that really works...

If you’re looking to support your children to become confident, strong, assertive people, capable of protecting and defending themselves against any would-be aggressors, and you want them to really enjoy the experience and have fun learning how to do this, you will not find any better classes than this in London.

Having tried a few different martial arts for my children, and a few different martial arts schools, I now have a daughter in the 5-9 year-old class, and a son in the 10-15 year-old class, and they are absolutely loving every minute of it.

Sensei Tic is an absolutely fantastic teacher; technically he is clearly exceptional, but he also has a real aptitude for working with children of all ages. The dedication he shows in every single class is quite incredible. He puts so much effort into making sure that all the children, regardless of their ability, are constantly learning and improving.

On the evening my daughter attended her first class, she was unsure about what to expect, and a little nervous. By the end of the class, she was able to put Sensei Tic on the floor and into a submission hold and couldn’t wait for the next class!

There’s lots of discussion and opinion about which form of martial arts is ‘best’ for children to learn and it seems a bit of an endless debate. However, it’s clear these classes have lots of carry-over into real life scenarios, particularly given the Gracie Jiu Jitsu influence. The way Sensei Tic approaches the teaching is always with a distinct focus on what real-life situations actually look like, and what a would-be aggressor might realistically be likely to do, rather than assuming someone will attack in a way that is consistent with how things usually get practiced in martial arts classes. The end result is proper functional carry-over from the training to the real-life situation.

It’s also worth mentioning that the other parents are super-supportive and friendly, and there is a real family atmosphere, where everyone encourages everyone else.

Honestly, it doesn’t get better than this. Quality!

EKBJJ is an outstanding academy, Eddie Kone is 1 of the worlds most in depth, detailed professors with far reaching knowledge which he truly is passionate about passing on to anyone who walks in through the door & has used his direct lineage from the Gracie family to produce other world class teachers to pass on this formidable yet beautiful art.
From youngsters, men & women of all ages to professional fighters. This academy has it all & welcomes all. Highly highly recommended. 5 stars isn’t enough for this place honestly.
