AVOID at all costs. Rude staff.
I took out an Iva with Ebenegate, everything was fine to begin with I paid into it for 2 months (after receiving confirmation it’s all been accepted) after 2 months I get a call to say it’s been rejected. I was told I would get a refund and was advised it would take 2 weeks not ideal at all. I found a different company to help me. They asked for information to say it’s been rejected, I have requested this numerous times and I have yet to receive anything to confirm it’s been rejected for me to send to my new company. For the refund 2 weeks passed no refund so I contacted them back they said someone would call me, no one did so I called back was told the same thing (bank holiday Monday) u asked but it’s bank holiday so they work on bank holidays I was assured they do and I will be contacted. Monday came and went no contact. Called again the following day to chase to be told again someone will call. No ever contacted me. I was planning to call them yesterday to chase again but to my surprise I got call saying I will get my refund today (15/05/26) I just need to send over my bank details via pdf. I couldn’t work out how to do this so I called them back to explain this and the lady took my bank details over the phone, brilliant thought I was making head way. I still emailed my bank details overbut not as a pdf wanted to cover all bases. I kept checking my emails and bank no response from them and no refund. So Iwake up this morning and checked still nothing soi call them back only tone told it will e 7-10 business days. I explained I was promised would get the refund yesterday to which the lady on the phone was really rude and talking over me. Said the man I spoke with yesterday ain’t in, How convenient. I get refunds can take time but Iwas promised I would get it on 15th May. They have given me the run around for weeks. Still no refund and Iprobably won’t get it fora couple of weeks. And Icant continue with the new company at the moment till Iget an email or letter to confirm the Iva has been rejected. This company is an absolute joke. AVOID at all costs!

Lavish rang me today regarding my iva yearly review ...he put me at ease straight away as I get very nervous he explained to me everything I needed to know and put it in a way for me to understand..what a gentleman..an iva is a stressful time but ebenegate have been fantastic and now I have a lot less stress but thank you to Lavish for everything today ..

I would like to express my sincere thanks to Mandanee for outstanding service and kindness shown to me by the lady who dealt with my IVA enquiry.
At a very stressful and upsetting time, she was patient, understanding and extremely sympathetic. She listened carefully, treated me with dignity and compassion, and took the time to explain matters clearly, which gave me enormous reassurance.
As an older person dealing with financial worries, her kindness meant far more than she probably realises. Excellent customer service is rare, but her professionalism and empathy were truly exceptional.

I called today and my call was answered…
I called today and my call was answered by Sandhya. She was very patient, helpful, polite, and courteous throughout the call. She took action immediately and made sure that all my concerns were addressed.
Even when she had to place me on a long hold, she was very apologetic and explained the reason clearly. She answered all the questions I needed help with and provided excellent customer service.
