Very difficult to secure suitable times…
Very difficult to secure suitable times for inspections with small time windows allocated to agree access otherwise time slots re-allocated. Not particularly user friendly

Your constructive criticism on our windows for securing an appointment is helpful feedback for our continued improvement.
I have taken the time to look into your bookings and communications and can see that our usual process of holding an offered appointment for 1 working day while we wait for our client to confirm if it is suitable was not long enough for your requirements, so we increased the hold time to 2 working days. When this was still not long enough we agreed to a longer appointment hold time, but with the appointments being slightly further in the future, to allow for arrangements to be made, and I’m happy to see that we did indeed manage to book in appointments for your inspections.
I can understand your frustration while trying to secure an appointment that suited your needs, and would like to explain the reasoning behind our hold times to aid your understanding. The reason we set a timeframe for an appointment to be secured within is so that we can keep our assessors diaries full in order to fulfill the daily amount of surveys required to run a profitable business, and I can see that our assessors in your area are busy, so the appointments were in high demand.
I appreciate your honest feedback about the difficulty you experienced, please rest assured that I have passed this on higher up, so that we can continue to monitor our processes to ensure our client’s needs are being met sufficiently.

Professional and efficient
I was very impressed with Easy EPC. My initial telephone enquiry was dealt with quickly and efficiently by Sam. The assessor, Kim, contacted me the evening before the appointment to confirm timings and she arrived promptly the following day. I received the EPC on the same day as the assessment. I would definitely recommend Easy EPC!

Pleasant, efficient, but not punctual
The process was simple, pleasant and efficient and the EPC arrived quickly. Assessor was competent and quick. Only snag is she missed her appointment and we had to reschedule for the next day; a phone call to say she couldn't make it would have been nice.

Wasted 4 weeks and no EPC…
I had an Airsource heating pump put into a new build bungalow. I needed an EPC to sign off everything. I contacted easyepc on 10 April and got a price. I paid on 15 April and was sent documentation to complete. I returned all documentation on 15 April. I was told that Easyepc was doing the EPC and it would take 2 weeks. I got an email from them on 7 May asking me to complete the documentation. I replied and explained that I sent all documentation in on 15April.I made a comment that it was taking longer than expected and if they didn’t have time to scroll through emails I would resend it. I got an email on 8 May asking for my bank details and my account was closed. I had to contact easyepc three times to ask for my refund. Finally got it on 16 May. No EPC had to go to another company for it

Thank you for reaching out and we would firstly like to apologise that our customer service has fallen short this time. There is no excuse, though some background may explain why your experience was disjointed and not up to our normal standards.
Unfortunately, we recently suffered two parental bereavements within our relatively small team in quick succession, resulting in our managing director and a SAP assessor having unplanned time off, which also coincided in an unfortunate manner with the planned annual leave of other team members. This briefly put pressure on our response times for SAP and ability to process the SAPs in our normal turnaround time . This also caused some confusion with documentation handover. Whilst these issues are now fully resolved, we apologise that the fact we were suffering these issues at the time was not expressed to you initially.
I can see in our correspondence that you suggested a refund would be suitable if we could not carry the calculations out quickly enough for your requirements, which was actioned. I can see however that this was not expressed clearly enough to you, or with an adequate apology for falling short initially, and can only apologise for this now.
I can see that on 8th May you were advised your refund would be issued within 5 working days once payment has been made. Payment was processed on 9th May and you received funds on 15th May which is within the timescale we advised. When you enquired further about the timescale, we responded quickly and consistently to keep you updated and reassured, while extending our apologies.
I understand that we have not provided you with the level of customer service that we always strive for. We would like to express that this is not the norm for us, as you can see by the majority of our feedback being so positive, and hoped that it seems reasonable for us to explain in detail what went wrong on this occasion.
We always take feedback on board and will learn from this in order to help us to continue to provide the exceptional level of customer service we pride ourselves on overall.
EPC survey
Reasonably priced, surveyor arrived on time. Results available next day.
Importantly, easy to contact by phone. Always polite and helpful

Made the whole process of finding a EPC easy
Made the whole process of finding a EPC assessor easy without going through an estate agent with their inflated prices easy. Assessor contacted me in person to arrange a convenient date and time to call to carry out the EPC. Assessment was carried out on arranged date and ready in under 2 days, as soon as payment was made the EPC was available on the gov website to view & downlaod.
