Installed a BM2 skirting system to my lounge in 2017, it was easy to install and hasn't missed a beat since. Even though its over 20meters long the end still gets hot in no time and gives off a good amount of heat. Staff are always helpful and reply quickly with any questions etc

I feel compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience with Discrete Heat's heated skirting boards. I had them installed in two bedrooms and the living room, and from the outset, they’ve been nothing but problematic. They generate constant, irritating noise and, worse still, fail to adequately warm the rooms. Considering the cost and the promises made, it feels like a complete scam.

What’s more frustrating is the company's indifferent customer service. When I raised my concerns about the product's inefficacy, they were dismissive, offering nothing but excuses instead of solutions.

Save your money and avoid this ineffective product. Stick with your traditional radiators, which actually do the job. Don’t be misled by Discrete Heat’s false claims.

Just a word of warning. I thought I would try it out on an old property which required a full refurbishment. I'm not really sure if it is designed for old non right angled rooms. Anyway after a catalogue of errors which I am not blaming on Discrete Heat it has just been installed. I have to hold my hands up and take some responsibility but I find it odd that they are happy to sell a system without doing a site visit. Very expensive to purchase and extremely expensive to install circa £5000+ compared to £1700 for the equivalent normal radiators. Not sure I would recommend for an old property.

I got in touch with the team to get electric heated skirtings. The process from designing to install went really smooth. I installed the skirtings myself as im an electrician using the help guides provided along with the wifi stats so i could control the heating from my phone.

Heating/control's work brilliantly and look great!

After sales service is worth a special mention. The team have been incredibly supportive with technical advice and accommodating small changes to my planned layout. I can't stress that enough... thank you!

We installed thermaskirt upstairs in our cottage in 2010 in order to save on wall space (of which there isn't much). Thermaskirt is only a portion of each room's skirting and initially it looked like the extent of thermaskirt wouldn't be enough, but it has nicely heated two bedrooms and a large landing space for the last 15 years without any issues and we live in northeast scotland. It has operated that duration without issues so I would rate it as highly reliable as well as it's benefits for saving walls space.

From the initial enquiry to the product arrival the service received has been exemplary, consultation and planning has been first class. The product is well constructed and made to measure. Neighbor's enquiry start with ooh wow what a great idea....
Explaining the concept usually brings another comment..... that will save so much space, please can we come and see when you have installed.
Installation videos and fitting instructions are all part of the deal as are the tools required to install.
Now we are looking forward to the UK winters 😊

We're very happy with the Thermaskirt. The skirting is esthetic, gives an even heat all around and doesn't take up valuable wall space. Ideal for small appartments and rooms where underfloor heating is not an option. The system is fairly easy to install, particularly with the new bellow connectors. It is also an advantage that in case that there might occur a problem it is easy to take off the wall again to check the various parts. We operate the system from a distance with an app which works very well.
Both the Dutch and the English team have been extremely friendly and helpful in answering questions, advice and troubleshooting. The Youtube installation video is very clear although when I last saw it, it didn't show the use of the bellows yet.

An excellent company to deal with. Customer service on another level, and happy to recommend them to anyone.

I had seen Discreteheat on the internet and made an enquiry. from start to finish the process was simple and very professional. The time scales were adhered to and the staff were very friendly and polite. the end result is fantastic making our upstairs space much easier to work with as no bulky radiators against the wall. excellent product.

Product does exactly as it says! I now have in all 3 main living areas and absolutely no regrets, so glad i had it installed.

IS THAT REALLY YOUR HEATING
We have just completed install of Thermaskirt to our lounge replacing an old wet skirting heating system that was bulky and ugly but highly efficient. Having worked in the house building industry for more than 45 years I have seen and considered all available alternatives, our final choice of the Thermaskirt BM3 wet system has impressed us immensely.
The back office team at discrete heat are reassuringly professional and practically knowledgeable providing the essential balance of design and planning support. The delivery and install team provided the necessary information without prompt, enabling the on site preparation to be completed as required to allow install on time, in full, exactly to plan. The completed install is just as the company title suggests “discrete heat” very efficient and extremely discrete.

We've just had our Thermaskirt installed and, while it is still early days, I am very impressed. The installation test showed that it threw out a lot of heat, which should make our kitchen much more comfortable.
DiscreteHeat's service and helpfulness was very good, answering queries and providing the design quickly and delivering the kit on schedule.
The one recommendation I would make is to have your installer (or yourself if you are doing it DIY) review and plan the source feed into the system to make sure that there is minimal extra work (moving pipework etc.) needed to get the Thermaskirt fitted.

Really happy with my heated skirting that I've had for 10+ years. I needed some replacement parts, just the corner pieces that were damaged by normal wear and tear and me being clumsy with my hoover! I reached out to Discrete Heat and they were quick in responding and sending me the parts. Great product and fantastic customer service!

We would like to post a review as we were extremely happy with the recent service provided, when we encountering a leak. We had Thermaskirt fitted approximately 10 years ago and have been very satisfied with this product and this is the first time we have had any issue. We contacted Discrete Heat concerning the leak and they resolved the problem quickly. I would like to thank Tom the Commercial Manager personally, who came out to us and quickly diagnosed and resolved the problem, which was a crack in a small part on the thermostat control and even bled the central heating system, so everything was back up and running, all done free of charge. First class service. Thank you

Carl and Josh were brilliant at what they did and although it's sunny day we can already feel the difference. Also, it looks so good and they were very ready to make good the existing skirting boards. They were a pleasure to have around. They're a good advert for the Company.

I had need to replace a plastic exterior corner on our original Thermaskirt skirting radiators installed in 2011.

I asked for two to be made and I received them within a week of placing my order by telephone.

We've had our Thermaskirt installed for the best part of 10 years, and I noticed some staining coming out of the side of a cover plate a couple of weeks ago. After taking the cover plate off, I realised a connection piece had either worked itself loose, or hadn't been quite connected properly. After enquiring about a repair service, Discrete Heat contacted me same day, were extremely helpful on the phone, explaining the process required to fix the issue and will be sending out some replacement parts. Absolute breath of fresh air!
