From survey to completion we went on a magical journey with Thermaskirt.

Chris was our point of contact and Carl and his team installed the solution and regardless of where we were in the journey we always knew our next steps.

I would 100% recommend the product and the teams and will likely take them to my next home.

I wanted to check in after having our Thermaskirt running well in our flat for 2.5 years now.

First off, it's been bloody fantastic!! Even in the reception room where the heating output was slightly under the recommended calculation (about 250W under recommended) relative to the size of the room, the performance has been flawless. We've managed to maintain a very comfortable 19-21C through the coldest weather throughout the flat, typically only having the boiler come on for ~4 hours a day! The flat is in an early '50s brick&clinkerblock ex-council block with no recent internal or external insulation, ~15mm double glazing, and set on the 1st of 4 floors. We are very happy with the performance and efficiency of the system.

The sales service was also tremendous throughout. Their team was incredibly patient with my million questions covering everything from parts options for installation, to heat calculations, limitations within my property and even cutting agreed lengths to aid delivery.

The whole process lasted about a year, from my first question to taking delivery.

My only complaints are minimal. Due to a limitation within our property we had to have the copper pipes surface mounted on the wall. As a customer request, an option for those who want/must have their copper exposed would be great, allowing the feeds and returns to enter the TRV from the top or sides, rather than just the rear/below.

The other minor complaint is regarding the finish of the rubber gasket to top off the skirting. It's a personal aesthetic opinion, but we find the rubbery-satin/matt finish needs a lot of regular cleaning, and eventually has ended up being a little grey/yellow - maybe we are not as diligent as required for the proper maintenance? A different finish on the material would be great - something a little glossier/closer to the finish of the powder coated aluminium boards themselves.

Overall highly recommended, and will absolutely be used in our next property.

I had Thermaskirt installed in one room 10 years ago and have had bo problems with it whatsoever. Over time the top sealing gasket (rubberised material) has discoloured and split. Following an enquiry about a replacement, the team at Discrete Heat quickly identified the part and offered to supply it free of charge. Great ongoing customer care.

They came and fitted it a few weeks ago which was great and it’s a good source of heat. BUT I am so disappointed now. Some of the valves won’t turn off so the heating is on all the time - we have rung and emailed several times and have not managed so far to get anyone come out & fix it. They suggested they tell our joiner over the phone what to do! It was very expensive- the least they could do is make sure it all works and that we are happy with it. No one got back to me in spite of me leaving 3 messages. Thessaly they‘ll ring tomorrow- I am not satisfied with that at all,

The product is great however the customer service and installation service and after sale is lower than poor. Paid a hefty price for supply and install trusted their approved installer to do a good job and everything was fine until now. We need to move a couple of pipes to complete a kitchen install our plumber on two occasions has gone looking for the drain down valve with no luck. Finally I found two installed next to each other toght to the wall with on damaged but left installed by heir approved installed. This has now been going on for some weeks with no return calls as promised by customer care and no light at the end of the tunnel. After finding this issue we looked a little closer at the install by their so called approved installer and boy to say it’s poor is an understatement. I am now having to have my local plumber take a look and hopefully rectify if he’s happy to take on the challenge and pass the costs to the company via a legal letter if needs be.

The reviews are right, the heat that thermaskirt gives a room is unique. No cold spots, just uniform warmth. Needed a few extra bits and bobs and discreet heat were amazing, no quibbles, they next day delivered the bit I needed. Only issue you can have is getting the right tradesman to fit it. The rooms afterwards are opened up to much more options. Would never go back to normal radiators.

Very good product. Their installation teams workmanship and attention to detail ensured a nice quality job. I would recommend to use "the experts" when installing. Ask for Carl ;-)

Superb product, so much better than radiators, both visually and in terms of thermal performance. Customer service was excellent too. I made an error with my order and had the wrong part for my project, they sent out the bit I needed at no cost to me the same day.

I fitted Thermaskirt throughout my house following a recent renovation. It is absolutely fantastic! It heats the house as well, if not better, as radiators, and it looks clean, unobtrusive and smart. Discrete Heat have been a pleasure to work with; I changed my design and requirements on a number of occasions and they helped me though every step with no fuss. The engineer who fitted the first room was professional and helpful, allowing me to fit the rest of the house myself. I have just had the new improved Thermaskirt fitted in some rooms of my house and it is fantastic. Several years ago I had Thermaskirt fitted and I really liked it but the new system with improved output and new corner fittings is even better. Why would anybody have radiators once they have been introduced to Thermaskirt I will never know. The team who came and fitted it were tidy, polite and good to have in the house. Thanks

We had the Thermaskirt heating system fitted some 7 years ago and it has been absolutely fantastic, running without any problems at all. Recently after redecorating the room we required replacement of the covering top strip, this was sourced and delivered promptly, no fuss no hassle and with the excellent service we associate with DiscreteHeat.

What a great product and great company! Thermaskirts work really well, and the after sales service is superb. Highly recommended.

We're very happy with our Thermaskirt system. We moved to a place with huge radiators and where underfloor heating would have been problematic to fit and prohibitively expensive. Thermaskirt is working perfectly for us.

We had a very good experience with the company, the only thing I would have liked to go better was to have a pre-installation onsite survey which in the end only happened over video call. There were some minor defects in our prep work which were difficult to fix once the floor was laid down, this could have been easily spotted with an onsite inspection.

I think our installer's name is Carl and we were extremely happy with his attention to detail.

Overall we'd recommend this to anyone. It looks great and works as intended.

Remarkably straight forward to install, looks good and works well. Better heat output than expected.

All the staff were excellent and managed to provide a spare part for a system that was fitted over 10 years ago.

I cannot thank the staff in this company enough they were so helpful and professional.
The thermostat valve switch was broken on the system fitted in our village hall. I found Discrete Heat on the internet and made a phone call. They were extremely helpful and the result was that a new switch came in the post free of charge and was fitted perfectly onto the valve. I don’t know if they were the original installers but would certainly contact them in any future work was required
