If there would be minus in these stars - I'd put some
None-refundable trial period, charged automatically following month - you cant cancel subscription by yourself - forced to contact customer support, and they may or may not respond asap, no worries, they Will keep your money and say "it's not refundable ", regardless.
Crappy option for any user, no regard whether you used /liked/disliked this app. Pure rip off

If there was an option for zero stars I would choose that.

Really disappointed from beginning to end, they will keep your money and tell you they cannot refund.

The quality is poorer than any dance video you find on YouTube why waste money on these scammers?!

After my complaint Dancebit reached out to me. They refunded 25% and apologized for the person on chat that told me to "try harder".
The customer service rep who emailed me was courteous

I had the same experience. The app was not compatible with my TV. I asked for a refund several times and they said they would refund but gave other options to invite me to keep the subscription. When I insisted that this still wouldn't work, they refused the refund. I am reporting them to trading standards.

I believe, as others have endured, that this operation was designed to rip off anyone who comes in contact with them, and that included me. Buyer beware!!!! After many attempts to contact by phone and email, I alerted my bank to an additional fraud charge and was promptly contacted by dancebit but they refused to refund.
Update: after many emails back and forth, they were finally fair about a refund.

In keeping with others here, I would rate them in the negative stars if that were possible.
I was duped into clicking on their so-called upgrade link (supposedly just for additional info) only to have them immediately process a payment for a full year’s subscription! Can you spell FRAUDULENT PRACTICE anyone!?
Emailed them right away only to have a ‘bot’ reply with “subscriptions are non-refundable”. Steer far away and clear from these scammers!

If there was a less than zero that would be my rating. I canceled this after the free trial in January, only to discover they are still charging my account. I tried to cancel again today. I was told it would cost a $1 refundable , I knew it seemed weird but went with it. Thank goodness my bank alerted me of a $46 dollar charge NOT $1. I claimed it to be fraud and closed my card , very inconvenient. How do you people sleep at night ?

Today, I was charged $63.57 by Dance Bit For an unauthorized charge. The phone number that was listed on my credit card was incorrect, and today when I attempted to send an email Under the help tab, They said they were having technical difficulties! That is just utterly ridiculous, and in the State of Washington, which is a very pro consumer-That kind of treatment is just not gonna fly. This is why I tell people all the time do not sign up for these online sort of companies. Most people don’t even check their credit card statements every month and this is how they make their millions

I signed up for the 7-day trial and canceled on the 7th day. On the last day of the trial, they charged me $54 for the month and said I needed to cancel sooner. That was the last day of my trial. Read the fine print. They are scammers and not interested in happy clients, only ripping them off for their money. When I contacted them, they tried to blame Strip, the company that processes payments. I've worked with Strip before and never had issues with them. Pathetic company!

Very disappointed with this app regarding charges. Initially signed up for 1 week then they took £46.37 with no notice for a months subscription. Their ‘small print’ which apparently explains this is not very clear. Currently in negotiation with them for a refund as apparently are many other subscribers. Would not recommend at all.

Usual con-job. Get you to subscribe on a low amount and then hit you with a big bill without notice. App is terrible anyway. Steer clear.

If I could give it Zero stars I would. If you went through PayPal file a refund through them, they are actually a good honest business! And don’t trust the App Store reviews they buried the bad reviews with fake positive ones. Fighting with Dancebit through PayPal currently, they have tried to buy me off offering 40% back of the money they stole, I’ll take my chances with PayPal you scammers. Dancebit sends no notices before the “process” (steal) your money and then try to act like it’s your own fault. I have honest company’s that I auto renew with and they always notify me before any money is ever taken.

It’s a scam!! First of all you will never make any moves to populair music, that is only used in the adds to attract people. It’s just random boring music with a beat that you dance to. Sometimes you get a dance for six minutes, then one for 20 minutes, also very random. The steps are okay, but I tried beginners level and it’s still quite hard to follow at times. And then after the probation subscription for a month ends they silently prolong your subscription with another month for DOUBLE the amount. As soon as you find this out and cancel your subscription on the same day it’s apparently too late and you won’t get your money back. You’re stuck with this lousy app. Don’t fall for it!
Update: they refunded me 40% of the money, it’s still quite scandalous but I appreciate the gesture.

If I could give negative stars I would. THEY ARE A SCAM!! They refuse to cancel my subscription. They do not list the subscription in the settings section of my Apple phone like all reputable companies do. Then they say if "you" can't find it in your subscription section go to our website to cancel. No place to cancel. Then they say email us, and now 6 emails later, they will not respond. THEY ARE A SCAM!!!
