SCAM

Bought item. One month passes, no info from the company, I send email, get no reply. I will get the bank to refund my money and tag site as scam. Dont Trust!!!!

Issues with despatch and quality

The products look great on the website, but for the second time we have received an order that was badly packaged and one of the items was damaged.
We also have an issue with changes to the design of the products that are not reflected in the catalogue or on the website. In the case of the four-way water stands, the change has affected the rigidity appearance and quality of the stands.
Really disappointing.

Do not order from this company!!

Do not order from this company!!! I placed an order 2 weeks ago and have yet to receive any updates. I have emailed several times asking for an update since they were quick to take my money from my account. Not a single response! No PayPal so I have had to go through my bank to dispute the charge now. Horrible service!!!! Do not order from here!!!

Terrible service

Terrible service. I’m still waiting for items ordered on 21st July and it’s 19th September. This is the second time I’ve ordered and had this happen, no updates, no replies just take the money and don’t send out the goods. With all the terrible reviews and the fact this has been going on for months I can’t understand why no one at Cosy is learning lessons and making changes. Even if just to update customers regularly about delays. Well I have learnt my lesson. Never again!

Edited to say I thought this had been resolved with Phil agreeing to chase the order and to include an item for free. It is now 6th October, I ordered in July. I have had to chase the order AGAIN and I’ve been told due to operational difficulties they can’t give me a timescale. This is really beyond what is acceptable. Please please don’t place an order with Cosy, taking money when you can’t provide the items is fraudulent. I have now contacted trading standards but if anyone is thinking of ordering, don’t!

Hi Elizabeth, I'm really sorry for the problems you've had and the delays in getting your orders out to you; following the Covid shutdowns our suppliers have struggled to keep up with the huge demand for orders which have been coming through over the past 3 months, we're also in the process of moving to a new warehouse which will give us twice as much space to hold stock and cut down our lead times but in the short term the move is causing some additional delays too; I appreciate we haven't communicated effectively enough and this is something we will endeavor to improve upon. Absolutely terrible service taking…

Absolutely terrible service taking money when items are not in stock with out pre warning of the delay countless unanswered emails ordered on 30th July and I still have no idea when I will get my order! I will never order from this company again!

Ok some of the reviews are bad But it was lockdown

Ok some of the reviews are bad
It did take a while for my order to come but I emailed said what I needed quickly. The rest could come when ever.
It was over lockdown and they had a reduced workforce.
I think they should be a bit more front about delivery lead times
But overall I’m happy with products and would order again.
I’ve been looking for school style supplies that deliver to home. They supply the kids nursery so I was pleased to be able to order from them. I already have a list for my next order but plan on it taking a few weeks to arrive.

Oh my goodness where to start

Oh my goodness where to start. What a shocking company.i cant believe they are still in business! They take your money and then do nothing! Phil the manager will email infrequently, responding by apologising and blaming covid but still does nothing! I made the mistake of ordering for a second time! The first time the item took a month and lots of emails full of promises. I was lured in again in May. Half order sent and received one item damaged. Said they had sent another but clearly hadn't as when complained again was told Phil would hurry it up with the warehouse! You can't leave posts on fb as they know you would complain, their phone lines don't work and now I cant even respond on private message as they have blocked that too! I have asked for a refund but clearly ignored again! Over 2 months later and still no order, just broken promies! Do not order from this company!

Oh yes the other thing they do is stop you commenting on Facebook as when I commented others responded but now they have taken them down! So you will only see positive comments from anyone on their posts! So now I cannot phone, comment on posts or private message them! This company needs closing down!

All I'm asking for is a refund!

In response to Phil's response, I'm unsure how he has kept me updated on Facebook as he blocked me from the conversation and when asked for a refund he said he was sending part of the order! Thankfully I have now received my refund. I will NEVER order again!

A complete scam!!

A complete scam!!
Placed an order weeks ago and heard nothing back despite it saying dispatch would take 3 working days. Nothing has arrived. I’ve emailed customer services twice with no reply (it’s been over 2 weeks)!
Tried ringing today. The number just gives an automated message on repeat. Can’t speak to anyone! Yet I seem to receive almost daily marketing emails! Just a total scam. I’ll be taking this further!
Stay well away!!

Over 3 weeks and NO delivery

Over 3 weeks and NO delivery. Emailed 5 days ago with no reply they claim to reply in 2 days, lies. My daughter's birthday in in 3 days and her main persent hasnt arrived shes getting a stand with no tray. Why would you send accessories for an item you havent delivered. Order somewhere else save the stress. Try and be organized ordering alomst a month in advance and this is what i get. PLEASE SEND MY ITEM ASAP i need it Wednesday.

after i assume calling them out on social media i got messaged on the platform and emailed back. Saying my item wont be instock till end of july. Im pretty sure selling stock you dont have at hand is called pre-ordering. Let your customers decide if they want to wait. So if not in a rush sure order from them if you would like your item to arrive in a relatively normal time frame order somewhere else or prehaps you could call or email asking if what you want is in stock maybe idk. Ended up being offered the item in a different colour which is what i did told it would arrive tuesday, it arrived wednesday half way though little ones party so not great. Also had a foot print and rough bumpy platic bits on the surface making it uneven. No trying to make things right with me but i assume its because they aren't bothered with repeat customers or giving a good experience with customer service. At this point the company has stressed me out to the point im just going to call it quits.

I don't recommend.

A lesson learned, don't ignore the bad reviews on trustpilot.

Was looking for some compost and the only place that said they had stock was cosy. I'd never heard of them so of course I came here, the first time I'd ignored the bad reviews found here and that was a huge mistake. Weeks of waiting, unanswered emails, no one answering the phone, I'll let that go though due to covid. But when I did get actually get a reply I was told my order would be shipped the very next day. This obviously didn't happen and more emails were then ignored. When I threatened to get my bank involved I then got a shipment notification. No apologies or anything.
I've had some bad online shopping experiences in the past but this was the worst what ever you do stay away.

Cosy need to find better quality suppliers,
Customer service is poor, more life in a graveyard than cosy after sales Team
Quality has really gone down hill since last time I ordered about 3 years ago, the mud kitchens etc was really well made,
On this order now everything is junk

Had an amazing experience with cosy…

Had an amazing experience with cosy direct, from customer service and speed of receiving the items to the actual products themselves.

I bought the shape chalk boards, bamboo pen holders, Seagrass baskets, clipboards with clipboard station and crates for wall mounting on my fence for my outdoor literacy area. All were well made and value for money.

Will be a returning customer for sure.
Oh, I also got bamboo screening as saved a trip to the garden centre! 👍😊

I was so excited about ordering from…

I was so excited about ordering from this company as the products online looked amazing.
However, I was so disappointed. I ordered nearly £100 worth of resources for my daughter through lockdown. It does state on their website expected delivery timescale is between 5-10 working days due to Covid 19. That’s fair enough. I received my invoice about 8 days after ordering. There were items missing but no explanation. After contact with Philip (customer service manager) he cancelled the items that were missing. Communication of this was awful. Philip was quite helpful at the beginning of email exchanges. I recieved my order 2 days after the invoice. The deliverly driver was rude to me when he phoned to find out where my house was. I got the package and I was sad with the quality. Magnifying glass that was poor quality, dinosaur eggs were terrible, penguin houses again were terrible (you get the picture)
After complaining to Philip he refunded me for the magnifying glass and dinosaur eggs and after negotiating £15 voucher. So I ordered again with the voucher and Philip assured me he was personally going to ensure I was happy with the service. I recieved the order from Hemes and basically the packaging was unsafe (to the point that the bridge had broken) so couldn’t be used. The box was open and the quality again was dreadful. Therefore, it didn’t change my mind and felt the lack of care was bad.
Be warned if you order from these guys.

Exciting innovative resources, excellent customer care and extremely speedy delivery

Such innovative and exciting resources at the most reasonable prices. I ordered resources which I needed urgently and was most impressed with the attention and professionalism of the team and in particular, Phil.

A week after ordering the resources, during the pandemic when most suppliers were closed, we received our order, all the way in Australia!

l fully support Cosy, this is a company that is all heart, participating and supporting many good causes and wanting to bring exciting products to many children. I look forward to my continued relationship with this company.

I absolutely love looking through the…

I absolutely love looking through the cosy catalogue. I try to behave and focus on what I really need because everything just looks so educationally adorable and it really takes me back to when I was in nursery and as a childminder and mummy, I'd like to make the same impact on childrens lives around me but I have to be sensible financially.
The products are perfect and admirable, the only thing I would like to change is knowing when I am getting a delivery, it would make the whole journey from ordering to receiving even more special. I can't wait for the rest of my items to arrive so we can complete our garden, have a lovely summer and keep it looking great in time for when my babies arrive back in September. 💫

My experience

I had a brilliant experience with Cosy. I've been ordering both for my school and recently my own garden and I love how quickly the items arrived every time. I love how authentic the resources are, which you can't find anywhere else. At school we created so many great areas and Cosy catalogue gave us so many inspirations. My recent order for home made a huge difference in my garden and we love and use every item. Highly recommending it!
