The worst company EVER!!!

The worst company I have ever order from. Placed an order for over £1200 worth of goods in JUNE some of which still have not been delivered!! Many of those that have been delivered are crap. A stage with a blackboard which is not fit for purpose. Not a blackboard but some wood which is coloured black. Impossible to chalk or write on as it is too shiny. I will have to repaint it with chalkboard paint so it can actually be used. Today I was delivered 4 wheels for a wooden super car (which still hasn't been delivered). These cost £24.99. The advert states they they are recycled. What it should say is that they are second hand. From a skip no doubt. One of the wheels actually has BIN written on it. When I order something recycled I expect it to be made from recycled materials. Not dug out of a bin or or second hand. Imagine if you purchased recycled toilet paper and it was covered in sh&$.....because it was "recycled". Not what I was expecting. They don't even match.
The worst customer service in the world. Blaming covid for their shoddy service and workmanship. Do NOT order from this company. I have subsequently cancelled my order of my "supercar" as I have no doubt it will be "supers$&t".

Update on order.

Okay, update on my review on the 31st October. After I chased the order it has finally arrived. It took 6 weeks. If I’d known this at the start, I might not have ordered- however I’m glad I waited it out. I love the mini tuff tray and stand and it will be perfect in my classroom. If wait times are clearly displayed in the future, I’m more than happy to reorder from Cosy. As I said before I do love a lot of Cosy's products and as an early years teacher this is my go to place for inspiration.

What a disappointing start!!!

I ordered for my childminding business. The delays were ridiculous and not advertised anywhere. After a number of emails I spoke with someone named Sam. She was professional and apologetic. She sent what she could of my order. They arrived the box was broken and grubby, missing a item.. I got back in touch and she sent me another again apologising and offering my voucher as a good will guester. She said there may be a small delay due to moving. But she'd keep checking. It arrived 8 days later and I was happy. I'd use cosy again, but check their stock first! And be mindfull of there never ending delays.

I really love my products from cosy

I really love my products from cosy. I concur with a lot of people on here, there was a looong wait for most of the goods. I however really appreciated the frequent emails and support from staff at cosy. They responded to emails, they kept me up to date with when orders would be delivered and they were very helpful. I empathise with them that they have had issues due to suppliers during covid. Four stars because of the long delay however great products and helpful staff.

Terrible experience

Legal actions

I submitted an order for a school in July/2020, 4 months later and nothing was delivered, the person I was in contact doesn't work there anymore. No one reply to my emails or answer the phone. Hope that someone contacts me through here, otherwise we will proceed with legal actions.

I have placed my order a month ago, it stated that would be delivered in two weeks, but nothing! When i tried to contact them(sent many e-mails, and sent messages on facebook) there haven’t been any answers on my comunication, so I wouldn’t recomend this site..

i will never use this site again our…

i will never use this site again our goods arrived damaged we sent photos. no refund or replacement very poor service. this was before the covid 19 but im sure they will use it as an excuse

Mixed emotions

Mixed emotions. I really do love the varied resources on offer at Cosy and have used them for a while now. However, the last two orders that I placed have lead to me having to chase items and then demand refunds due to non delivery. Items that did come were in a poor state- natural wood items often cracked and mouldy. I do have another outstanding order - a mini tuff tray which I have waited nearly a month for with no indication of arrival date. I really do hope it comes- come on Cosy please sort thing out and communicate with your customers. If items are not in stock, indicate this on your website so at least we have some idea of the time scales involved.

Good morning Laura, I'm really sorry to hear of the problems you've encountered with our service, we've had a very challenging year due to covid, huge demand for our products and a move to new premises; we still have some disruptions to service following our move but we're working around the clock to get settled in to our new home and when we're completely up and running we'll have a warehouse which is twice as big as our previous one which will enable us to store twice as much stock and drastically cut down on our lead times. Don’t order of Cosy Direct

Don’t order off Cosy Direct, you will not recieve items and promised refunds never appear in your bank!!!!Ordered some products at the beginning of September which have never arrived. Emailing company daily asking when order will be delivered and they keep saying the items are on there way but I never receive anything. Plus a request for a refund on an item not in stock has still not been given 10 days later.
Will never order from these again

Avoid!!!!

I ordered an item back in June and emailed several times to see a delivery time scale. I was told the item would be in stock on the 14/8 and would be delivered shortly after. Then again on the 27/8 I was told it could be a further 2 weeks. On the 15/9 I was told the actually didn't know when it would be delivered. I requested a refund on the 21/9 and after chasing it up twice I still haven't recieved the refund!! Will not be ordering again poor customer service. The item still isn't showing out of stock on the website so no doubt more customers are being let down.

Unhappy 'Cosy' customer

I made an order for items on 5th September it is now the 11th October and I havent had a single update in the tracking information of so called purchases. I sent an email to the service desk on 25th September with a query and have not even had a courtesy reply. Ive sent another email today. I looked at this site and see a poor rating and a lot of unhappy customers. There is an email address on a couple of replies on this site ie: philip......com suggesting to contact him, it does not register however.No doubt Im going to get some cock n bull story now about delays and told that philip no longer works there. Grrrrrrr!

Very disappointed

I ordered two items in July and only one was ever delivered. The other item - a stand for a Tuff Tray - has never been delivered, and my emails have been ignored.
I eventually got through on the phone last week, only to be told the order had been cancelled. I hadn't been told of this and as yet, I haven't received a refund.
I appreciate there were undoubtedly delays with suppliers in recent months, but the lack of communication has been truly appalling. I would like my money back at the very least.

DO NOT order from this company!!

DO NOT order from this company!!! I have been waiting months now for my order. Each time I contact them (note they have never proactively contacted me to advise of any delays) I am given a seemingly random date in the future, only to be disappointed again and again when my order does not arrive. The last date I was given, 29th september, has come and gone. I have read other reviews of unhappy customers that have ordered the same product and they are being advised that the item won’t be available until November?! I want a refund but having chased them AGAIN I am yet to hear back. Dreadful customer service. I’ll be contacting trading standards.

UPDATED 17th October

***To update and further warn against buying from this company...***

Having complained multiple times to various staff and requested a refund for an order that I had paid for in July, I then received an invoice proforma stating that I would not receive my order until I had paid in full. Baffled and frustrated I contacted Phil Hadfield (customer service manager for Cosy) as directed via social media and received the following response -

‘I’m sorry for the problems, this order was cancelled due to lack of stock, then the supplier surprised us by delivering the goods in to us last week, in an effort to recover the situation we reactivated the order for you so we could allocate the stock and get to work on dispatching the goods, part of the process in reactivating a previously cancelled order is to push it through a process called “Proforma” on this occasion it looks like the system automatically then sent you an email asking for payment and I sincerely apologise for the confusion and anxiety this has caused.

I have re-cancelled the order with the Tuff spot multi height stand on it and will now work with our accounts team to refund you for this item via the original payment method.’

Bear in mind no one at Cosy had ever advised me of issues with stock or contacted to let me know they had cancelled my order.

Phil Hadfield promised to expedite my refund on the 5th October. Two weeks later I am still waiting...

I feel totally scammed and have resigned myself to the fact that I’ll probably never get my money back.

Very disappointing service!

I have made an order with Cosydirect in July and I am still waiting for the goods to be delivered. I have twice requested a refund and have not received any response to this. I have now received a dispatch notice to say two items from my order (which was for a total amount of £395.26) are being delivered. The total value of the two items is £10.14. They have added a shipping cost of £27.40 and somehow the total on the invoice is £45.17? It certainly doesn't add up!!!

Don't order unless you can wait 3 months for your items to arrive. Or be mysteriously cancelled. But they will take your money on. day 1.

Really disappointed. Placed an order on 26 July for a tuff spot with stand for £68.93. Once the order went through, I received a confirmation saying it may take longer than usual to send out.

I wanted to use someone other than Amazon but this company are advertising stock they don't have, and so I think their website is misleading, their communication is rubbish, and as they take your money at the time of order, I'd consider that poor practice all round.

COVID times make things hard yes, but it's pretty basis that you only sell stuff you actually have to sell. You can't use COVID as an excuse that I ordered and paid on 26 July, heard basically nothing, then get an email on 30 Sept saying half the order will be with me by mid-October.

On 30 September I received an email telling me that the tuff spot is on its way, no stand. When I called I was told I hadn't ordered the stand. I checked my bank account and the full amount was taken for both items. Cosy did call me to confirm I had indeed ordered the stand but they'd accidentally removed it from the order (although I'd paid) and they won't have them in till end of November at the earliest. No use to me. Then said it would take a couple of weeks to refund my money which they have been sitting on since July.
I'm off to order a stand from Amazon and I am left very disappointed by this company.
