I am extremely disappointed with the service from Cooks Mill Pakistan Store.

About one month ago, I ordered a chopping blade for my Robot Coupe CL50 machine. Unfortunately, they sent me the wrong blade. Since then, I have made multiple attempts to resolve the issue. I called them several times, sent emails (with no reply for over a week), and even shared videos and clear pictures as requested. Despite all this, I still haven’t received a proper response or solution.

Their customer service has been very poor and unhelpful. Instead of assisting, the staff were dismissive and uncooperative. This experience has caused me a loss of more than £450.

I would not recommend this store to anyone. Very unprofessional service and no accountability toward customers.

Avoid at all cost if you don't want to lose your money , the item I bought are fake stuff, I will rather buy from Temu than buying from this company + the customer service is trash, they will be forward and backward with you through emails and questions until you give up, no accountability, it looks like they order from Temu and send you the item without knowing what the quality looks like themselves, third-party sales. I wish I can give 0 star and I wish I can also post pictures of what I bought here.

The items are categorically not fake. The manufacturer of the scales has asked for a video of the fault so they can diagnose the issue. We have asked you for a video on the 8th April, 13th April, 14th April and 15th April. This has not been provided. Please provide a video of the issue so we can progress your complaint.

Appalling communication and even worse customer service

I placed an order with Cooksmill on 1st April 2026 (Order #4000050018) for several Mason Cash items. Despite their confirmation email promising updates when items are "picked," I heard absolutely nothing for 16 days.

When I called to check on the status, the experience went from poor to unacceptable. The representative confirmed there was a lead time on the pasta bowls and that the whole order was being held back—which I was happy to wait for—but when I asked for a simple email confirmation that the order was actually progressing, she flatly refused.

Rather than taking ownership, she told me I should email her colleague myself as she wasn't prepared to pass on the request. When I challenged the lack of communication and the inconsistency of her answers, she abruptly hung up the phone on me.

It is incredibly disappointing to see a company's front-facing staff blame their own colleagues and show such a total lack of professionalism. This has completely destroyed my confidence in them. I am still waiting for a formal response and a clear update on my order.

Please note that lead times are clearly stated on all product pages on our website. Upon placing your order, you received a confirmation email which re-confirmed the estimated lead time of 2–3 weeks. The following week, our purchasing team sent you a further update advising that the items would not be available until mid to late April.
When you contacted us by phone, you requested that we send another email confirming that your order was in progress. Unfortunately, our customer service team does not have capacity to send follow-up emails when there are no new developments to report. However, we did advise that you are welcome to contact our purchasing team directly by email if you wish to receive a further update.

Problem resolved

Send video clip of floppy guard to Cooksmill asking if we could return and have a refund. After a short delay while they consulted with the manufacturer, they have now kindly issued a refund.

Amazing range of cooking equipment

I have been looking for a particular pie dish but everywhere was so expensive, The I stumbled on Cooksmill and as I was looking at their website I found exactly what I wanted for just over £2.00 each I ordered 6 and opted for click and collect at the Salford store which is only about 7 miles from my house, I collected them the next day, when I arrived at the store I was amazed at how much stock they carried, If anyone is looking for anything to do with cooking this is the place to go. When I was there I didn’t have much time to look fully around but I will be going again soon and this time I’m having a couple of hours, just thought the main door were the chefs knives section which is huge hundreds if not thousands of knives for every occasion and that was just one section.

AVOID

I placed an order with Cooksmill on 13/03/26, and even after 10 days, I still haven’t received my items. I contacted customer service to get an update, but unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The lady I spoke to was quite rude and unhelpful, and I’m still left without any clear information on when my order will arrive.

Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place due to the poor service and lack of communication.

APPROVED PAYMENT -ORDER DISAPPEARED!

WELL I FOUND EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR ON THIS SITE, BUT AS SOON AS I PUT IT IN THE BASKET, CHECKED OUT AND APPROVED THE PAYMENT VIA THE BANKING APP. THE ORDER DISINTEGRATED, DISAPPEARED. I WILL NOW HAVE THE HASSLE OF CHASING MY BANK TO ENSURE THE PAYMENT IS'NT TAKEN OUT.

Absolute joke

Absolute joke, ordered an item was sent something different to what's pictured, They did this last year, sent them an email as soon as arrived, Reply I got was send them back AT MY EXPENSE & could possibly get my refund hit by 30% for restocking fee, pictures sent in email of what was ordered & what was sent completely ignored the pictures, No apology for THEIR mistake, I don't spend a fortune with Cooksmill but I expect to recieve what I ordered, Shame I can't post pictures here

The item you ordered was a black Gastronorm pan. As these are standard commodity items, there may be slight variations between batches, such as minor differences in the lip or edge of the tray.
The pan you received is black and corresponds to the correct dimensions for a Gastronorm container.
As previously confirmed, you will not be charged the 30% restocking fee.

Poor all round

I ordered 13 Beaufort food storage containers from Cooksmill and although most were fine, several deteriorated extremely quickly after minimal use. The packaging labels were still on them and looked like new - that's how little use they had. I asked Cooksmill if, given the fact this had been quite a large order, they would consider replacing two of the worst ones. They could not have been less interested and their customer services were short, curt and dismissive. When I emailed to ask them to re-consider, they didn't even bother replying. Very poor, both in product and and response. Wouldn't order from them ever again.

As the containers were purchased in July 2025, we carefully reviewed the images and information provided. Based on our inspection, the condition of the containers appears consistent with normal wear and usage over time, and unfortunately we were therefore unable to offer replacements on this occasion.

Dreadful delays - Incompetent customer service

Dreadful delays in emails being answered.
Wrote to them on 11th December attaching initial invoice showing quantities, and item codes, asking when we could expect the rest of our order as we were missing the glass mason jugs.

Unaware of receiving any calls to advise us of the reason for the delay, 11 days later we receive a reply asking for the quantity and product codes of the missing items.

Called and explained that the invoice I attached made clear the product codes and quantities of the missing glass mason jugs. For some reason, I now have to wait for an investigation to take place before we even reach the point of arranging delivery of the missing items.

Very good response to a delayed order

My items were delayed and I rang customer service expecting the usual desultory response. Instead, Jillian took personal ownership of the problem and saw to it that they were delivered next day. Delays can happen, especially just before Xmas - but what makes the difference is if a company ensures the problem is dealt with. I’m pleased to say that this company, thanks to their very helpful team member Jillian, did just that. Meanwhile the goods themselves seem great, and they were well priced. I’m happy!

Promotion Suggestion

So helpful. I called to check leadtime for an item and customer service offerered to go down to the warehouse with my order number and arrange to get it sorted for next day delivery in order to have a cake baked on time.
Excellent - whomever it was (maybe Nicole) should be offered a pay rise and probably be promoted !
