Cookology is based in Haverhill, Suffolk having outgrown our premises in Bishop's Stortford on the Hertfordshire, Essex border, near London Stansted. We are an intimate company with friendly and helpful staff standing by to take phone orders, answer your emails quickly and give you advice on buying appliances for your kitchen. I ordered a cooker-hood well in advance of the required date. 7 days later I chased up Cookolgy to see where it was. Their response was they will talk to the courier [DPD], a day later I called them again as it was needed the next day. Their response was they were going to investigate but did not offer to send out another to get to me by the date required.
This cost me for delaying the project. I abandoned their product so that I could something by the required date.
What it tells me is that Cookology do not have internal processes to proactively monitor if their customers have received their goods and therefore only interested in the sale.
I would not use them again for anything important.

First time I’ve ordered from Cookology…
First time I’ve ordered from Cookology and it will be my last . Ordering was fine but the service from delivery courier DPD was dreadful . Within 5 minutes of them receiving my order for delivery they emailed to say it was delayed in transit . What should have been next day delivery turned into a farce with various excuses made . I then got a date and time slot between 11.25 and 12.25 , I purposely worked in my garden to ensure I would not miss them , they never turned up but when I checked they’d sent email at 11.18 to say they had tried to deliver but I was not home - I contacted Cookology at this point and cancelled the ordered and requested a full refund which I got . Dreadful service , unreliable delivery company used - stay well away from Cookology if you want a stress free experience. I ended up order from elsewhere and the experience was perfect .

I am very pleased with my purchase
The mini freezer was delivered the next morning and it's lovely.
The only problem is that I asked DPD to deliver it to my door, rather than leaving it in the lobby, because I am unable to carry it upstairs, but it was still left in the lobby.
