Contracting.com is a program that truly gives back what you put into it. I fully anticipated the roller coaster of emotions that comes with the learning process, but having a real-life coach to hold me accountable, steer me in the right direction, and keep me humble was a complete game changer. As I near the end of my 16-week program, my business has been completely transformed.

My initial goal was to increase revenue by 50–100%, conservatively. Today, I have the tools, processes, and knowledge to track my business, set goals, and see those goals come to fruition.

As of February 20, 2026, we’ve closed 16 clients year to date. In 2025, through January and February, we had closed 10. I’ve learned how to charge appropriately, stand my ground, and operate with a confidence and conviction I’ve never had before. Just last week, I recognized $2,000 I would have left on the table in the past. Instead, I negotiated, stated my price, and let the clients decide. Both signed on—no discounts.

I’ve learned how to show up, present, and close efficiently and professionally. As a design-build firm, our revenue from design clients is already at 45% of what we collected for the entire previous year.
