Award-winning flooring company
We have been supplying beautiful flooring online for more than 14 years from our base in north London. Our current range includes vinyl, rubber, cork and wood, as well as handmade rugs.
We are specialists in cork and our own brand, Corka, is carbon-negative, hardwearing and has excellent thermal and acoustic properties. Needless to say it's one of our bestsellers.
Our vinyl is commercial grade with an extra thick cushioned backing for durability. It comes in unique colours (blush pink, pistachio green!) each carefully handpicked by top stylists.
Our rubber comes in a range of 11 gorgeous colours and has been awarded some of the best eco certifcates available.
Our wood comes in a carefully chosen edit of shades and is available in both plank and parquet for a modern herringbone look.
Our rugs are made of wool and handmade in India in a process that takes five days from start to finish. They are Goodweave certified, guaranteeing strict standards relating to labour and business ethics.
All our floors work with underfloor heating and are suitable for heavy commercial as well as domestic use. We keep plenty of stock so delivery is fast too.

Very fast despatch of samples
Very fast despatch of samples, interesting & somewhere unusual choices of flooring. Still trying to decide which one to use. So much choice! Useful little brochure with each sample too.

I'm sorry if you think our delivery costs are expensive. I can see you paid £25 for 3sq m to go to the Wirral. Because our rolls are 2m long there are only a few carriers who will take them, plus we have to ensure they are handled with great care to ensure you get the flooring in perfect condition. Both these things push the price up a bit, but trust us, we are constantly trying to keep these costs down and most of our delivery costs are actually also subsidised by us.

From start to finish this company has been brilliant. The website is easy to navigate and very informative. Customer service is excellent, friendly and professional, thank you Sinead! My cork floor is beautiful and was very easy to lay, highly recommend.

I had a great service from The Colour Flooring Company. They checked my order with me and adjusted it, with a refund as I had mistakenly ordered too much adhesive. Delivery was swift and the rubber flooring exactly as I expected. The colour is beautiful. Would definitely recommend them.

Poor customer care
I wanted to buy cork which is something new to us in terms of fitting and care. I rang for some advice regarding fitting on my specific current floor and the person I got through to was obviously out and about, didn't listen to what I'd said and then just tried to get me off the
phone asap by referring me to the information on the website which I'd obviously already seen.
I bought anyway as I wanted the product but the delivery should have been within 5 working days and it will be 7 days, if it arrives when suggested, without any explanation. When having an entire kitchen fitted, room is limited so I could not have the floor ordered sooner and sitting around. I had ordered in plenty of
time according to the quoted delivery schedule. Considering I've spent over a grand and the delivery is still chargeable, I'd at least expect it to be on time/within the stated time frame.

Thanks for your review. We ask people to refer to information on our website as all our online instructions are very carefully thought out and worded and it helps prevent mistakes. Regarding delivery I can see your ordered on 10 July and it was delivered on the 18th. Our Standard delivery is 5 working days so if you take out the weekend we were actually only one day late. We do say in all our correspondence with you that delivery times are estimates only as delays can occur, especially when delivering large palletised items such as yours. Our couriers also say they spoke to you twice to inform you of your delivery time frame.
