What a waste of time

What a waste of time. Put an order through on Sainsbury's Chop Chop service. No delivery by time stated. Order was cancelled by Sainsbury's as error on the Chop Chop system apparently 🙄 Will be chasing up the pre authorization payment and if not forthcoming will be contactimg my bank. Absolute joke of a service. Didn't want to give it any stars but unable to post if no stars clicked.

I would rate this zero if I could

I would rate this zero if I could. Come on here to warn others about this service. The company cancelled my order after waiting 4 hours for it. It states on the email it will be cancelled and money will not be taken. They took my money straight away. I have called 5/6 times they say they will request refund. They never do, i can’t speak to a manager as they hang up on me. Worst service for such a big franchise. Please avoid at all costs! I am having to go through bank now.

Garbage I am never using Sainsbury’s…

Garbage I am never using Sainsbury’s again after this order delivered the wrong address and now over a week no refund.

Out of pocket £55 and they took my money immediately.

Called the customer service line twice and promised refunds not received so now doing a chargeback.

Appalling service

Absolutely shocking service

Absolutely shocking service! Ordered for the 1st time. Completely the wrong order delivered. Phoned Sainsbury's up straight away and was told all monies would be reimbursed with 3-5 working days but no refund received. Phoned up 2 weeks later to complain. Promised money would be in my account the following day. Now 5 days later... And nothing. I have now raised an official dispute with my bank as I'm sick of being robbed off and remain out of pocket!

Absolutely pathetic

Absolutely pathetic. This is the second time I’ve used this service. The first time I used it, it was so poor I decided never again, but months later I thought I’d give it another go. This time the driver phoned me to say I’d put the wrong address on the order. I didn’t put any address on the order - my address is taken automatically from my usual delivery account. He was difficult to understand as he spoke incredibly poor English and he struggled to understand what I was saying. He said I’d put a hotel that I’d never heard of as the delivery address, which was absolute rubbish and totally untrue. He said he would speak to his manager and phone me back. He never did. I phoned the ChopChop helpline and they said the order had been cancelled. I told them it wasn’t cancelled by me. They said they’d refund me, as the money had already been taken from my credit card. They said this as if they were doing me a favour! I said I didn’t want a refund - I wanted the order to be delivered, so they told me to place the order again, then to phone the helpline again and they would phone the store and make sure a driver was assigned to me by the store. I immediately attempted to do this, but discovered that it was too late in the evening and orders were no longer being taken. I phoned the helpline again and had to go through the whole explanation again, but of course they couldn’t help as online orders were no longer being taken. I wish Sainsbury’s would either close this useless, non-service, or put some effort into getting it right. Judging by the number of terrible experiences and reviews it’s mostly a total waste of everyone’s time and energy.

From absolutely loving Chop Shop to…

From absolutely loving Chop Shop to vowing never to use it again.

I used Chop Shop regularly because of the convenience. I was spending around £200–£250 a week and until recently, it worked brilliantly.

The last two deliveries have been an absolute disaster.

Last week, over HALF my order was missing. 16 items out of 30. I contacted the store and was met with poor attitude and zero accountability. I was interrupted while trying to explain the issue and effectively told it wasn’t their problem because the order was through Chop Shop. Chop Shop then told me they’d contact the store… who apparently did have something to do with it after all!

Against my better judgement, I tried again today.

A driver turned up with two tiny bags containing items I never ordered, doughnuts, white bread, crisps, wraps - to small bags approach 12 items total not the 30 items I ordered and paid for! completely wrong order. I refused delivery because none of it belonged to me.

I then received an email claiming my order had been delivered, which is completely false.

After more phone calls and more time wasted, I was simply told I’d have to wait another 3–5 working days for a refund. I’m STILL waiting for last week’s refund too.

So now:
• No food
• Two pending refunds
• Delivery fees paid
• Over an hour wasted dealing with errors
• Passed between the store and Chop Shop with nobody taking ownership

The entire point of using a convenience service is to make life easier. Instead, this has caused stress, inconvenience, and wasted time.

It really isn’t complicated:
Choose 30 items. Pick 30 items. Deliver 30 items.

I will never use or recommend Chop Shop again.

Chopchop i Örebro.
Mkt trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Rent och snyggt.
Tyvärr är maten närapå äcklig; smaklös med kvalmig smak.
Älskar asiatisk mat, men denna ger mig sån avsmak att jag kanske inte kan äta någon asiatisk mat igen.
Har gett denna restaurang tre chanser och varje gång har jag lovat mig själv att inte stanna till där igen.
Synd, då konceptet är bra.
Allt verkar vara indränkt i samma kvalmiga sås.

I used Chop Chop a couple of times with success, but I just received completely the wrong order. The courier didn't even knock, and if they had, then I would have told them it was the wrong order!!! Now it's going to take 2-3 days to refund me. Absolutely awful. Avoid.

I ordered a delivery on 27th April and when it got to an hour late I checked my emails to find it had been cancelled as it went over the hour for delivery - well I would rather have had it late than not at all or a phone call to let me know. They’ve also taken my money and I can’t get it back!!! I’ve rung three times now and they promise to sort it out. All I’ve got is a £5 voucher and an apology but I want my £57.94 back!! Can’t even seem to get that through to them. So annoying. Expect more from Sainsbury’s!

Horrendous! Avoid at all costs, Sainsbury’s you should be ashamed

Actually, I would not even give them 1 star! Today I placed an order at 5.21pm to be delivered by 6.21 pm…. the sainsbury’s website allowed me to take my personal time to place an order only for this to go to a store 262 miles away, informed only after I chased my order when an hour late! This was a horrendous experience, to be told in short my order would be cancelled money returned in 3 hours but nothing I could do and no way of receive no my order. Won’t bore you with the details…. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I will be taking this further… watch this space

Supertrevlig personal, lätt och beställa, tydlig skyltning, fräscht i köket. Kan starkt rekommendera ett besök här!

För lite mat

Väldigt gott men så SJUKT SNÅLT med mat. Beställde take out och inte ens halva kartongen var fylld med mat. Fine om det var billigt men för de pengarna så ska det inte vara så lite innehåll. Har beställt förut och det har aldrig varit såhär snålt med mat.

Vi åt lunch med barnen på ChopChop…

Vi åt lunch med barnen på ChopChop Nyköping. Fullt med gäster. Smutsiga otorkade bord. Vi beställde 2 barn portioner och en ”combo” med orange chicken och Bambo beef. Disk med matrester stod kvar på borden. När vi fick maten fanns det inga bestick… alltså vi fick vänta i 10 minuter på en …… gaffel!!! När vi skulle ta bort våra brickor gick det inte att ställa av dom någonstans för det var fullt med disk. För att sätta en riktig 💩⚰️☠️ på besöket fick den av oss som åt biffen ont i magen direkt efter besöket och avslutade besöket med en riktig spya efter hemkomst. Pinsamt ChopChop!!!

En nyöppnad chopchop i Norrköping

En nyöppnad chopchop i Norrköping. Blev så besviken på maten. Vi hade beställt pad thai, kycklingnudlar och vårrullar. Det enda som var gott och gick att äta var vårrullarna (som säkert är halvfabrikat). Dyrt var det också, inte värt priset!

First use of ChopChop today, Error message after error message. Can't tell me why for security reasons. My details are the same for Sainsbury's online shopping, which works fine. Uninstalled the ChopChop app, won't be trying again

Åt på Chopchop i Norrköping. Är van vid att dom serverar god och fräsch mat. Men nä tyvärr, denna gången blev jag otroligt dålig av matförgiftning efter att ha ätit deras asiatiska influgna kyckling. Råder alla som läser detta att INTE ÄTA PÅ CHOP CHOP I NORRKÖPING!!
