AVOID CHARITYBUZZ AT ALL COSTS!!!

This survey is not letting me leave zero stars, so please understand that the one star that is given here means nothing. This is a zero star review. Even after contacting charitybuzz 7 times asking for a supervisor or manager or anyone besides the completely unhelpful agent to contact me, they never did. And now seeing all of these terrible reviews, it is clear that charitybuzz is a SCAM. They advertise and make consumers believe that they are helping various charities, but in fact they are nothing more than unethical grifters. Try calling the number on your agents email. It goes right to voicemail. There’s not even a number you could call to speak to a live person. Their supposed “fine print” is not listed anywhere, and their outrageous fees are nothing short of criminal. The most disturbing part is that I have personally donated items TO charitybuzz through my work in sports and entertainment, and even after notifying this “agent” of that, I still couldn’t get an email or a phone call from anyone after basically begging for a representative to contact me over seven times. I would Absolutely warm anyone and everyone from doing any business with this company. Unsubscribe from all of their emails, and trust me, these people will take full advantage of you every single time. There are plenty of charities out there that actually value their customers and have above board business practices. This company is the absolute opposite. And as a matter fact, when I spoke to my credit card company about charitybuzz, they told me they have received dozens and dozens of complaints from other customers about them. Avoid at all cost

Overall process was smooth and great communication. Framed Lithograph arrived in a destroyed frame that needed to be completely reframed.

They now charge a buyers premium on some items but not all. It is hidden in the fine print....misleading and unethical...be up front and don't hide it in the fine print. Never again....

Too many fees. Comes to 30% plus. Tell the bidder what the all in price is gonna be before they bid.

Congrats on your second win with us! We hear you about the fees. As you might expect, there is nothing we can do about the shipping charges and taxes on our end. As for our Buyers Premium fee, like with most auction houses, that helps with the upkeep of the platform primarily. It helps us make necessary updates to the site to keep the experience as user-friendly as possible. Take my name and email off all your list. I will never make another purchase/donation from charity buzz. A very long time ago I won a few things from your auction and this recent experience I was charged a fee I’ve never was charged prior.

Great platform but read the fine print

The platform was easy to use and I'm super excited about what I won BUT I would caution people to read all the fine print. I was hit with with $1500 in "buyer's premium" above my $5750 bid which was a little difficult to handle. I'm sure it was buried in the fine print somewhere but for everyday people who don't do this kind of thing regularly, it was a huge shock.
