I had an issue with a guest who was stuck halfway the online checkin process. After reaching out to the AI chat, I very quickly was transferred to a human support Alexandre. He in turn again very quick was able to resolve the issue and who took it upon him to have the techies resolve the underlying cause.
This is what I call a great customer service!

Very disappointing experience. The Booking.com test link was delayed and did not work. ChargeAutomation has documentation about Booking.com blocking links, yet this was not properly configured during my paid onboarding.

Worse, invitations were sent to all my existing guests despite my clear instructions not to do so. I then received complaints from confused guests about the unexpected message and broken link.

The system was still not working after onboarding, and unauthorized messages had already been sent. I requested cancellation and a full refund.

We use chargeautomation to collect tax payments from our guests and also have them fill out a pre-check in form and collect arrival times etc. It works great and their customer service is very responsive. Ofc I would prefer for their fees to be lower, but theres no wiggle room and we haven't found anything cheaper. Overall I recommend them!

Die Leute von Chargeautomation haben da ein wirklich tolles Sytem für die Gästebtreuung entwickelt. Noch nirgendwo habe ich mehr und sinnvollere Einstellmöglichkeiten gesehen. Nachrichten werden an den Gast, das Buchungsportal und Stundengenau an die Zeit in mehreren Sprachen angezeigt.
Dafür erhält der Gast zugang zu seinem Gästeportal, aber nur mit den Inhalten, die für den Zeitpunkt relevant sind.
So lassen sich Zugangsdaten erst wenige Stunden vor Check_In preisgeben und zum Beispiel nur, wenn eine Kaution hinterlegt und autorisiert wurde.
Der Service hier ist auch nicht zu verachten.
Die Eingesetzte KI kann einem schon sehr bei der Einrichtung helfen und wenn die nicht weiter kommt, stehen ein paar sehr nette und kompetente Mitarbeiter bereit.
Auch in meinem Fall konnten Sie mir gut weiterhelfen und haben bis jetzt für jedes Problen auch eine Lösung gefunden.

I had a great experience with ChargeAutomation support. Their team responded quickly, identified the issue immediately, and resolved it efficiently without unnecessary back-and-forth. The platform itself is very powerful for automating guest communication, check-in processes, and operational workflows, which saves a huge amount of time once set up correctly.

After the walk-through received from Cathy, Charge automation has features that we can use and answered most of our questions. System has secret gem :)

Unfortunately, my experience with ChargeAutomation has been consistently frustrating.

Every single month I have to manually chase invoices. There is no reliable or automated invoicing process, and I often need to book appointments or send repeated reminders just to receive a basic invoice. This is unacceptable for a company operating in the payments and billing space.

As a business owner, I am legally required to submit VAT by the 20th of each month. ChargeAutomation is the only provider I work with where delayed invoices repeatedly put me at risk of late VAT filing. This month, the invoice was still missing even after the deadline.

The lack of process reliability, automation, and accountability creates unnecessary stress and wasted time. Instead of focusing on my business, I am forced to chase documents that should be generated automatically.

I strongly recommend improving invoicing automation and compliance processes. Until then, I cannot recommend this service.
