The staff were very helpful , showing me lots of dresses in the requested colour , giving me advice and telling me what looked good and perhaps needed changing . Felt very at ease . Very friendly and happy staff . Nothing was too much trouble for them .

I cannot recommend Catherine’s of Partick highly enough. From the moment I walked into the shop, I was made to feel so welcome.

A special thank you to Shaleen, who was absolutely wonderful throughout the whole experience. Choosing a Mother of the Bride outfit for my daughter’s wedding was such an important moment, and Shaleen’s patience, honesty, kindness and expert advice made it an enjoyable and memorable experience. She listened to what I wanted, never made me feel rushed or pressured, and helped me find the perfect outfit.

The quality of the outfit was exceptional, and I felt confident and elegant on my daughter’s wedding day. I received so many lovely compliments, and I have Shaleen and the team at Catherine’s of Partick to thank for helping me look and feel my best.

Cerys, was very good. We were late to our appointment due to traffic, but she calmed us down immediately.
She showed us the dresses in my size, i tried on a whole range of styles, nothing was a hassle, she was patient & no hard sell.
We picked the perfect dress & hat, for my daughter’s wedding. The wedding was on the 17/07/26, I felt like a million dollars.

Lisa made for a lovely experience shopping for my MOB dress. I emailed ahead with my colour palate and size which made for a quick first change in to a dress. After trying on various dresses it was narrowed down to 2. This is when Lisa elevated the dresses by adding on the accessories. I walked out of the shops with dress and hat box all sorted for my daughter’s wedding. Excellent service, choice of dresses and accessories.

Shaleen made our visit a really lovely experience. She was very helpful, friendly, patient and gave great advice. There was absolutely no pressure. Will definitely recommend the shop, Shaleen and staff to my friends and family.

Having spent weeks searching for an outfit for my daughter’s wedding, I was advised by friends to make an appointment with Catherine’s of Partick. Despite the 3 hour drive, I could not have chosen a better place to find a dress. I didn’t want traditional “mother of the bride”, however was quite overwhelmed by the beautiful outfits available. The stock in the store was absolutely vast. Shaleen, who met me on arrival, spent so much time with me advising me and choosing styles for me which I preferred. From not being able to find a thing for the wedding, my problem was I was then spoiled for choice! I cannot recommend Catherine’s enough. Not only did I find my dress, I also found a hat which matched perfectly. This place deserves its excellent reputation. From start to finish, the experience was wonderful and Shaleen was amazing.

Shaleen was very professional, listened carefully to which style of dress I would feel comfortable trying on. Along with her gentle advice I found this a positive experience.

The atmosphere is lovely and from the start Shareen made us feel very welcome and she was so helpful and understood our needs. What a lovely personality and we shall recommend this first class service.

I had a wonderful experience shopping for my mother of the groom outfit. The assistant was incredibly knowledgeable about the available stock and took time to understand what would suit both the occasion and my style. She was attentive, patient, and offered excellent advice without making me feel rushed. Her expertise and friendly approach made choosing the perfect dress so much easier. Amazing experiance from start to finish. Lisa looked after me and was lovely and patient with me because i was so unsure what style i wanted. There was no pressure to buy anthing but i ended up getting my dream Mother of the bride Dress and Hatinater.
Cant wait to wear them and post some photos.

Shaleen was really helpful showing various options as mother of the groom, felt Shaleen gave excellent customer service and would highly recommend her.

Both Shaleen and Jacqueline should be congratulated on making customers feel important and not to make them feel anything was too much bother for them.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff and a huge choice of outfits to choose from for my sons wedding. No pressure to buy and no rush when trying dresses on. Shaleen made the whole experience enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

What a lovely welcome as we entered the store! My assistant was called Cerys, who was so so lovely! She met my every need and made me feel so special, as i was shopping for my sons wedding.I only tried on the one dress and instantly fell in love with it, although Cerys had picked out s few others for me to try. I left the shop a very happy customer and cannot wait until November to actually wear my dress! Thankyou Cerys for a lovely shopping experience! X

I had run out of ideas for getting a couple of very fancy frocks for event nights aboard a couple of cruises. Every other shop in glasgow seemed to be more focussed on either bridesmaids/weddings or prom nights. I couldn't find anything suitable. So glad I found Catherine's! The experience was so much fun. I tried on loads and got the perfect dresses, both at very reasonable prices. They needed to be taken up but that wasn't expensive and they bent over backwards to get them done in time for going away which I'm very thankful for! Thank you Cerys for persevering with me and making the whole experience fun! Such a lovely girl. I will definitely pop back in for the next occasion.

We were treated with the upmost respect, patience and professionalism by Cerys. She made me as MOTB feel so listened to. The outfit I actually loved wasn’t one I chose but she did, which demonstrated to me the depth of her knowledge and skill for her job.

We visited recently to get our mum’s mother or the bride outfit. Our mum had been reluctant at first as she had not been impressed on a previous visit 15 years ago. However this visit was very different. We were helped by a lovely assistant, Katie. She listened to what mum wanted and chose some lovely dresses. She was happy for my sister and I to pull other dresses and she encouraged mum to try and lots of shapes and styles. There was no pushy sales pitch. The whole store had a lovely relaxed atmosphere with other customers supporting each other to help make their choices. All in all it was a pleasurable appointment and Katie was an absolute “angel”. We can’t thank Katie enough for a lovely morning.

We went to shop for a prom dress for my daughter & for the styles/colours etc my daughter was looking for, the shop had the biggest selection for her to try on.

Whilst at her initial appointment the assistant dress took the time & listened to what my daughter was looking for & brought out 6/8 dresses to match this brief.

The dress we eventually decided on she had also liked in another major prom retailer & there was also a big difference in price of the two, so we opted to purchase the dress from Catherine’s of Partick.

When we bought the dress in October 2025 we were advised we could have alterations in house however when we collected the dress in January 2026 we were advised they had no availability for alterations but recommended Tailor- made which was just few yards along & we could not fault them.
