This is an amazing company. I decided to put Amtico flooring in my kitchen and after a lot of shopping around I found this company. I went in person and met the lovely Levi. He was efficient polite helpful and unlike many firms dealing with a woman of colour, did not patronise me, but treated me with patience respect and intelligence.
The floor was laid beautiful by his equally amazing team.
I later was unlucky enough to have quite a severe fire. The Amtico was completely resilient but I did need to replace some tiles, approx 25. Every other company told me they would have to rip up my beautiful floor, except Carpet City who repaired the damaged tiles in a jiffy. My floor is back to its original stunning condition.
I cannot recommend this company enough. All the staff are lovely and brilliant at what they do. Thank you Levi and thank you to your team.I will continue to recommend you to everyone I know.

Low-quality craftsmanship or lack of professionalism or bad luck??
I've chosen Carpet City Ltd even though it was 10% more expensive because it seemed to offer and promise high professionalism. I had just purchased a new apartment in a new building, and we wanted a floor that would last for years to come. Amtico seemed like the right choice, and we chose a premium company for the application.
The Carpet City's staff was very kind, reasonably punctual with deadlines, and above all, courteous and tidy. We followed all their advice and applied a new plywood wood layer to the new and flat floor, which increased the estimated costs. The floor cost about £15,000. Everything ended well, and we were satisfied with the work done.

The problems arose 8 months later. A bubble of air formed under the floor in the kitchen. Not visible, but every time you walk over it, it makes a very annoying noise, "POP!"
Other defects appeared gradually in the living room. The plywood wood lifted, exposing the edges under the Amtico.

Instead of blaming the company immediately, I thought the problem was due to leaks. After a period of inspections and verifications, we certified that there were no leaks.

I called the company, and after verifying, they proposed to fix the problem at my cost (£50 per hour, with an indefinite duration of work), because the one-year warranty had just expired! A floor that cost £15,000 and was made to last thirty years, and they tell me, "Sorry, your one-year warranty just expired."

Do you consider a premium company when asks for more money to fix their problems? Will they be able to fix the issues?

I will update this blog if they change their mind. For now, all the issues are very disappointing. I hope this review helps you make the right choice.

UPATE:
Carpet City have already reach out and we are try to find way to deal with the issues on the floor. I will keep you posted

From walking in to the shop meeting Ash at reception, Levi in sales helping me in the showroom choosing the right flooring, then had my house measured by Greg the fitters manager plus guiding me on site and made sure fitters did a perfect Job.

From the initial consultation with Levi in sales, to Greg in estimating and finally to Neil & Steve the fitters, all were extremely professional and helpful. Whenever I called for an update, Ash smoothly transfered me to the correct department. I can highly recomend Carpet City as your "go to" company for flooring.

Absolutely great company had a mix up with delivery and they bent over backwards to help sort it from delivery men to sales staff excellent service and great prices will definitely recommend and use again
