Simple job for an experienced carpenter with a mitre saw to cut some skirting which I would estimate would take a professional between 1h - 1.5h. Job was clearly explained and accepted.

Guy turns up, 1h30m later tells me he's finished. I then have to tell him that he hasn't cut the skirting correctly. 30m later he tells me he can't cut it correctly as he doesn't have a mitre saw, even though that's what he told me he had with him earlier.

Speak to Alistair the next day after being sent the bill of 2h. Told him I wasn't happy and the guy needed to come back and finish the job correctly. Alistair agreed and said he'd message me what time he'd arrive. Later afternoon I had to chase as had not been contacted.

At this point, Alistair tells me that the guy doesn't want to come back to finish the job correctly because the skirting kept breaking when cutting (yeah, because he was using the wrong saw!). This job is just replicating what had been done elsewhere in the property so I know it's perfectly doable. He then tells me that it's not worth his while to send the guy back plus he would've wanted to charge me another £144 to come back even if he did. This is on top of the 2h that he'd already billed. To top it off, I then get a wholly sarcastic comment that I should bodge the mess that had been left with filler. Ugh!

These people have no accountability, turn up with the wrong equipment, bodge the work (smearing caulk over vast amounts of skirting, even though I told the guy three times I didn't want him to do the filling) and then expect the paying customer to bodge it further with filler to cover their incompetence. Absolutely pathetic.

We needed a handyman within a short space of time to hang some pictures etc. The company responded very promptly and sent someone the next morning! Q came and got all the small jobs done swiftly and in a most efficient manner. He was professional and polite. Will use him again x

Excellent service, was able to book same day on a B/H weekend, and our handyman was very good, professional, polite, nothing too much trouble, did a great job, a huge help as we were under pressure to get a flat ready for a new tenancy - would definitely use again and highly recommend!

Excellent from start to finish. Clear communication from Tristan including upfront pricing information. We had an internal door (heavy, Victorian, not been maintained in years) come off its hinges. Kiomas was fantastic and had it fixed within the hour. It had been pulling away from the frame and did not close properly - and now it does, so is better than before! Many thanks. Very professional, reliable and punctual. My sliding window got off the track, which Tristan fixed quickly and properly. Apart from fixing the problem, he realised that my curtains were not moving smoothly so he fixed the rail, too. I have already decided to call them for other issues in my house and would recommend them to friends and family.

Really please with how the new Cat flat looks and works on my garden door the insulation is neat and tidy. I would really recommend as it was a tidy job. I’m very pleased.
