My partner stupidly picked the first search result when he typed end Vodafone contract into Google thinking it was through vodafone and gave this company his details. They charged 1.49 to cancel the contract. As soon as he said that I knew something was up. And when he said it was a third party that had done it I knew it was a scam. I immediately checked this site and right enough very dodgy. Luckily the fraud team in his bank were over it so he only lost the 1.49 as they had stopped the £25 payment they had tried to take from his account.
Do not use!!!!

I cancelled 2 phone contracts Vodaphone and Three online. Both times 8 believed I was cancelling directly and agreed to 2 x £1.49 payments from two different bank accounts. Thereafter, I was charged £24.90 each month from each account for three months. Every time they said no more payments would be made and would refund the payments, but the following month they helped themselves to more payments. To top it all, the two phone contracts were not cancelled and both Three and Vodaphone demanded payments because I had cancelled the direct debits to them.

I thought i was cancelling my mobile contract and they were contracted to Vodafone to work on there behalf, the £1.49 i thought was ok but got a call from Lloyds bank 2 days later asking if i had authorised a card payment to them for £24.90 which i hadnt so it got blocked..i checked the two emails they sent me and there is nothing there to suggest further payments so if anyone gets stung ask for a copy of the contract which they should have sent at the time of the agreement...they didnt even cancel the contract which is a breach of contract by them should they hold you liable

Scam I went to cancel my broadband charged me £1.49 then 2 days later £24.90 absolute rip off

They feel just like a scam because they kind of are. Technically they aren't as the £300 you'll pay for a years' subscription for some "email templates" does say so on the website, but it's well below the fold AND NOWHERE ON THE EMAIL RECIEPT. FOR THIS REASON I SAY IT'S A SCAM OR THEY'D BE UPFRONT ABOUT THE COSTS.
This is the email receipt you get then 2 days later you'll get stung with the first monthly payment of £24.90...

Best regards!?!?!?!? NOWHERE ON THE EMAIL RECEIPT DO THEY SAY BEND OVER, A USELESS MONTHLY CHARGE IS COMING YOUR WAY. I argued energetically with the guy on the phone about their scammy ways for 10 mins, he relented and gave me a refund. So they should.

What a con and I'm afraid to say I fell for it.

And it only took almost 3 years to respond to this review, what does that tell you. Once again it's a CON.

In march 2020 I moved to cancel a sky subscription online. I thought I was dealing with sky but it now appears that I was dealing with these cowboys. Since then they have been taking money out of my account which was only notified to me recently by Barclays Fraud. Also on checking they never did cancel the sky subscription which has also been running.

BEWARE of these people.

I wish I wish I had checked this site on Trustpilot but I feel I was hoodwinked into the transaction. I echo the same points as other posts on here. I feel like I have been robbed, If they pay me back the £24.90 they have already taken (legalised theft) and cancel the money they intend to take each month, I will amend this review to reflect that. Update 12/11/2020: Happy to say they have cancelled any future payments but have declined to refund me the £24.90 they took.

This is a scam, I tried to cancel with virginmedia and I received an email from cancel contract which appears to be from virgin media, I emailed them several times to ask where they got my details but got fobbed off each time. You think you are cancelling your contract but you're actually signing up with them for £25 a month. SCAMMERS!

How this company got my bank details I do not know,have realised they have now taken 3 payments from my bank since August of £24.90,can only presume it was when I cancelled sky and moved to BT but I did all that over the phone so really don’t know how they got my bank details I never signed up to there services or there site only see what scammers they are by going onto this review site

I used Cancelcontract to cancel a Vodafone contract.
I followed their instructions and downloaded a cancelation form.
I sent the completed form to Vodafone. Vodafone continued to take payment.
When I contacted Vodafone, I was told Cancelcontract was nothing to do with them, and the cancelation form was NOT there method of cancelation.
Cancelcontract take a monthly fee, until you cancel their subscription. My advice - Read the small print.
I would also take issue with Vodafone for not being absolutely clear regarding their own cancellation policy.

Useless, Im sure the EE website took me to this when I tried to cancel contract. Sent off the letter template, nothing happened. Rang EE this morning and just cancelled direct. I am now worried they will take money from my bank account! How do you cancel your details with them?

Suckle onto legitimate companies cancel pages with pop ups.

People think they are being charged an admin fee to cancel with their provider. Little do they know they are being charged £25 a month.

There is a permenant error on their cancelation segment of website.

Simply phone your bank and cancel payments/card.

Obviously the big companies know they are operating but they little incentive to stop them.

I subscribed to cancel contract for £1.50 put my details in to cancel virgin media contract .... this wasnt done as hadnt read the small print i then had £24.90 taken from my account a monthly payment they would have continued to take although i hadnt used any of there services!!!! ... i unsubscribed and was told no refund would be given very dissapointed do not use .... awful service

My fault for not checking the site I clicked on, but googled "cancel virgin contract" and it was rhe top search. Site looked like virgin to a point.
Paid £1.49...luckily then noticed and read reviews. I've unsubscribed so hopefully won't get charged the £24.99. Con.

This company is a big con state charg6you 1.40 to cancel contract with sky and bt but they have no record of contact. They then charge you a monthly fee of 24.90 without you knowing. One big fraudulent company should not be allowed to trade.

How this company is still allowed to trade is beyond me...they are nothing less than scammers. Their website site is a total con. It leads a customer into believing that they will only be charged £1.40 for using their online template to cancel a service with a utility company...nowhere does it state that the customer is signing up to a subscription costing an EXTORTIONATE monthly fee of £24.90. I reckon Cancelcontract are ripping-off banking all the people who do not check their monthly credit card statements. Once I'd realised that I had been ripped off by them, I called them and asked for an explanation. They immediately shifted the blame onto me saying that I should have been aware that it was a subscription service. After a lot of wrangling, they eventually offered me a refund which was credited to my account the next day. The worst thing is, that even after filling out CC's template, BT my service provider has no record of my cancellation letter I filled out on the Cancelcontract website. In the end I just cancelled directly with BT on their bonafide site.
