Appalling crooks. They took £24.90 from my 93-year-old aunt's account each month, through misleading her. After a lengthy phone conversation with me (I called 0330 808 4886) they finally agreed to terminate the contract. An absolute disgrace.

Feb 2023 update: My review from 2 years ago has been flagged by this company for review and they have reached out to me for personal contact details so they can help resolve my issue (yeah-2 years later), which I am not going to provide as I simply do not trust this company and as you can see from the many reviews, it is clearly a SCAM. It is a legal SCAM, but it is still a total rip off and as far as I am concerned should be illegal. Afterall how many people send letters now, especially post covid and mail strikes. To be clear this isn't a business model so on that footing it should be illegal, but it is really skirting around the edges.
This is clearly a scam and should not be used. I was taken to this site when I was trying to cancel my EE pay as you go contract. I went through all the details showing my EE contract number and my address and clicked validate and then I was taken to a billing page where I was then asked for my bank card details. At the bottom thankfully I read (with my son mithering me so I was very lucky, but then I think this is how these types of sites get away with it) "£1.49 for one month, then £24.99 per month thereafter" and I thought that is odd as I was just cancelling my contract and I didn't want to incur another monthly EE charge. So thankfully I closed down the site without accepting. I then contacted EE and they said the only way you can cancel a contract is via a phone call and this site is not viable.

I would not have gone to this site at all, if it wasn't paying to move to the top of Google Ads when I googled 'Cancel EE Contract', but thankfully I read the details before confirming my bank card.

SO DON'T USE IT. Afterall who now-a-days writes a letter to cancel anything, it is always email or telephone.

My advice to anyone is to ignore Google Ads as I have been badly stung recently by disreputable companies paying to top placements.

Complete scam - don't fall for it! I'm not sure how it is legal for them to be operating. It is not clear that it is a subscription service. They provide you with letters you can write yourself to send to a company - DO NOT TRUST THIS SERVICE

Tried to contact mobile company 3 by the internet to cancel a sim only contract, very difficult, clicked on a link about cancelling a sim only contract with 3 was directed to a page on cancelcontract which i assumed was part of 3's website, was asked to fill in my details and pay £ 1.49 which i assumed was the postage cost for the sim only card they sent me, maybe naive ? I paid this . Received an email to acknowledge that the order was received, basic information was sent with 3 headed paper asking that the contract should be cancelled indicating that the letter was sent from 3, in fact it was a template of a letter sent from cancelcontract not from 3
I was not given any information that you should forward this to 3 to cancel the contract so I assume if you did not do this you the contact would still be live and you would still have to pay for what you signed up for. I'm not sure if this is correct but would assume so.
Was charged £ 24.90 on top of the £ 1.49 , 3 days later which is I believe is a monthly recurring contract fee to " access" their templates should you need them to use one of there letter templates to cancel any contracts in the future . An absolute con in my opinion but maybe other customers would like to pay for this service ?
It is a website which sends you basic templates which anybody with secondary school education can organise themselves so please if you read this please be very careful.

They will refund, if you can get them to admit that the fee is in the small print.

Try not to be angry! There are humans on the line who don't want to believe they are working for a scam site, so be nice, and empathise x

Used this company to cancel contract for £1.4 something. At no point I was notified that this is subscription. Been trying to cancel subscription with no luck. Will be taking this up with my card provider. Avoid!!

Just like everyone else on this page, I tried to cancel a contract with Three. I thought there was an admin fee of £1.49 to cancel my contract and I paid for it. What is worse, is that the cancelcontract collected my personal details misleading me that I was on the Three website. Then I got charged the £24.90 fee three days later. I called the company and they did reply straight away. They said that they were unable to refund the two fees as I willingly agreed with the T&Cs. I thought that it was my fault and I totally assumed the responsibility for not being careful. I have decided however to dispute the transactions with the bank as I am not sure where else to complain about this company.

Yep just like the rest - complete scam. What I don’t get is there are so many rules and regulations for this sort of thing - which you have you believe as soon as there is one complaint they would be looked into but as far as I can see the first complaint was made on here back in May 2020 - this company must be scamming millions over this time span.

I tried to cancel immediately but two payments have come out even after the confirmation of the cancellation!

No stars really, absolute joke, tried to cancel contract 3 times and have emails to and from them which whenever I eventually spoke to them they denied there had been any contact between us!!! So after a heated discussion I'm getting my refund within 7 days! So they say.....

Bad is a rip off ,didn't sign for anything or agreed and they take the money direct from the bank , when cancel the contract with Virgin Media they use this

I wanted to cancel my BT phone contract but couldn’t get an answer when I rang BT.
Used google and this scam site came up at top of page.
Looks like your dealing with BT but your not and takes £1.49 then a few days later takes £24.90 which will be a monthly charge.
Contact your card company and report the scam.
They cancelled my card and are now looking into refunding me .

100%scam. Wanted to cancel my three contract I typed it in to Google... It looked like u was canceling my contract looks legit. Was then charged £1.49 but was given a template to send to three. 2 days later they tried to take £24.90 from my account. I called them and found it was definitely a scam.

This company should be investigated, fined and directors sent to prison. Absolute scammers. Be warned.

I unwittingly paid out £1.49 to this lot, these were followed by two payments of £24.90 being taken out of my account; I have notified my bank not to send any more payments to them; I have also sent an e mail to CANCELCONTRACTUK saying I was totally unaware of their scam and demanded a refund of all payments; this will be followed up with a phone call to them in the morning

You lot are an utter disgrace. Your payment page somehow appeared at the end of my cancellation query for BT and stupidly I entered my details into it thinking it was a cancellation charge from BT.

You stole that money from me. You have now stolen another £24.90 from my account!! That theft put me into my overdraft and I have now incurred charges on it!!!

Fraudsters. They seem to have embedded their link to their own unconnected site when you seek to cancel any form of contract with another firm. They used my card without my permission to set up a subscription for £24,90 a month. I feel violated and robbed. I have advised my bank, stopped my card and advised virgin of this linkage.I have lodged a formal complaint and seek compensation for my distress and a refund but I am not holding my breath. Steer well clear !
