Excellent use of technology and service, thoroughly reliable over several years. I think the only intervention we had to make (over a few years' use including a house move) was changing the battery in the movement sensor

Excellent product and service. Alongside GPS device it allowed my Mum to stay independent for years longer than she would have been able to. App very user friendly and easy to see Mum's movement around the house without invasive cameras. On the rare occasions that I had to contact Canary Care they have been very knowledgeable and quick to respond. I would recommend to anyone who is considering purchasing

Super product recommended by a Social Worker, allowed my sister and I to monitor our elderly mother with dementia in her own home to check whether she was moving around and whether external doors were being opened from our mobile phones. Much less intrusive than camera based systems, gave us great piece of mind and allowed us to see issues without being there and resolve them.
Mum now in a care home but this system gave her an extra 12-18 months at home, would recommend to anyone with elderly relatives who need a little extra monitoring to ensure their safety.
You only need to have a mobile signal in the property for this to work, easy to install and set up.

If you have a loved one that you can't be there for 24/7 then this is the system for you. Peace of mind is what this gives you. We could not have been without this and I cannot recommend it enough.

Need to have a system installed to give us some comfort as my elderly parent developed Alzheimers Dementia. This system was easy to install and the monitoring was easy to set up and use. This together with the support of the team administering it was amazing, couldn't have coped without it. exceptional

We installed Canary Care in my mothers house around two years ago and I can't recommend it highly enough. The data is clear, the information is extremely reliable and accurate and very easy to access. We were able to keep mother in her own house for a lot longer than we expected, and it was mainly due to having the peace of mind that we knew whereabouts she was and whether she left the house. The alerts are brilliant and easy to set up. We used it alongside a keyfob tracker and with the two systems had a complete picture of all her movements.

I wish I had purchased this earlier! My Mum has dementia and lives on her own, I am able to track her movements around her flat, an alert is sent if she opens her door at night. It has given me and my family peace of mind, we only live a few minutes away, so if we are concerned we can pop in to see she is ok.

Installed this in my dads home 2 weeks ago, it has provided so much piece of mind being able to see that he is up and about and moving around his home, it has also revealed that my dad gets up to the bathroom 4-5 times during the night making him vulnerable to falling in the dark, his GP has now prescribed him some medication to address his bladder issues which I would not otherwise have been aware of

A little more explanation that the door sensor also requires the room sensor would have been useful.

Best system ever - why didn't I get it sooner!!

We have been really pleased with the product and it has helped to provide peace of mind. Fast delivery and excellent customer service. Would definitely recommend.

We got canary care for my dad. He is starting to have memory issues and we wanted to have something that would monitor his movements but also keep his privacy. We hope it will help us define when is the right time he may need extra care.

The unit comes in a lovely box. The main unit is a square cream plastic box. Approx 4in square. The motion sensors are approx 2in square, cream and powered by batteries. I stuck them onto the ceiling in the rooms. There is no set up. Just plug in the main unit. Bring the sensor to the room you want to monitor, slip the battery into the back of it and watch for a green constant light. Then just stick it to the ceiling. Each sensor works on movement and the room temp. There is an app to download with gives you the hottest room and the coldest room and the last time of movement for quick access.

This system gives me great comfort knowing my father is going to bed at night and getting up and heading for the kitchen first thing in the morning. We did get the door magnets but I feel at this time we don’t need them but it’s great to have them for the future.

I’d highly recommend this system for anyone wanting to care for someone they are not living with.

Canary care has been a god send to us, my mum was diagnosed with vascular dementia four years ago, now we receive alert should she disappear out front door at odd hours, the sensors are giving us an indication to her pattern of movement during the day.
No camera's which mum didn't want, but peace of mind for us.

Recommended to us by social worker, helping to enable my elderly father stay in his home. Very easy to use system and great for seeing patterns in sleeping, eating, movement, etc. Was able to discuss data patterns with GP, who could clearly see that my dad's sleeping patterns had changed. Also been useful in identifying that my dad wasn't eating or drinking regularly. Great service and staff on end of phone to advise. Thanks to Alice for getting in touch after noticing change in alerts and for the advice offered. Definitely recommend.
