Wir bekamen zum gewählten Übergabetermin ein Fahrzeug mit allem, was wir zusätzlich gebucht haben. Wir haben gemeinsamen mit Freunden dasselbe Wohnmobile gemietet hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in Kanada. Das Fahrzeug hat uns zu keiner Zeit im Stich gelassen. Die Rückgabe erfolgte problemlos. Schade war nur, das die Markise nicht genutzt werden konnte und u. E. sind weiße Handtücher etwas unpassend - aber das ist Jammern auf ganz hohem Niveau.

Can was in very good condition, very helpful information and support provided to make the trip go smoothly.

Easy process, lovely staff and every detail was explained fully before being given the RV.

We experienced a pain free experience from CanaDream, having hired a MH-A Maxi Motorhome with most of the extras including the Premium Plus, Unlimited Mileage and Prepaid Liability Reduction Zero, which gave us peace of mind for our 3100km round trip from Vancouver and back via Whistler, Jasper, Bannf and Vancouver Island.
Having been told at handover that the RV was only a year old, we found that it had done over 83,000 km, the interior felt a little tired in places, which rattled and squeaked over every road imperfection when travelling. Nonetheless, it was comfortable when parked and served its purpose.
On the slightly negative side, the monitor for the waste tanks was next to useless and always showed more than half full even when emptied, the city water intake continually leaked at the hose connection, the ‘lawn chairs’ we paid extra for were the cheapest, nastiest, type on the market and, significantly, the gas guzzling Ford engine drank fuel like there is no tomorrow!
The handover and returns processes were pain free with friendly staff in attendance, although the standard return timings appear to be deliberately set relatively early in the morning, perhaps to encourage customers to pay extra for a ‘late return’.
Would we hire from CanaDream again? We felt the hire charge was a tad expensive for a tired feeling vehicle, so the jury is out and I would probably spend more time comparing the competition first.

We overall had a very good experience with Canadream. Positives: motorhome in very good condition and well prepared; excellent handover; overall pricing seemed competitive with the alternatives we researched (although it's not cheap!!); customer service was very responsive and helpful (we had a few pre-rental questions). Relatively small negatives: pay attention to the line item details in the bill (we didn't automatically get a few discounts / bonuses that we expected... although when we queried it, this was refunded immediately); our van was provided with 2 x left handed gloves for the sanitation, and our black-out blinds didn't fit very well. Overall though I would recommend Canadream, and expect to rent with them again

From checking in and returning the unit. Everything was a 9 out of 10. If we could have been able to use the AWNING, it would have been a 10 out of 10. Will definitely consider using CanadaDream on our future family vacations.

The takeover and return went smoothly, all employees were very friendly. The equipment of the RV was as expected, but really everything was counted exactly. It is therefore often a bit challenging, for example, if you need an additional salad bowl at dinner or that all towels have to last for 3 weeks. What is not good is that no camping table is offered, because buying it makes no sense. The fact that the awning is basically locked also partially restricts the experience.

Also a great service while communication through e-mail and fast reaction.

A well organised and professional experience, but the small things annoy:

1. One set of towels and sheets for a two weeks stay. We spoke to others who rented for 4 weeks and also had the same set of towels and bedding. Sure you can wash but this is not so easy on the road.
2. Return the vehicle with the same fuel level - almost impossible when dealing with a 250 litre tank and not knowing how the consumption works. Better is to collect full, return full.
3. Kitchen kit - exactly the number of things you need, i.e 2 people = 2 plates etc. But...pragmatically you use plates to cook and prepare and find yourself washing every meal twice....
4. No grill top for wood grills - no way of borrowing a propane grill needed in the summer die to wood fire bans

Everything was fine. RV was clean and in very good condition. Pickup and return was quick and without long waiting time.

We had a wonderful trip through British Columbia, Rocky Mountains and part of Vancouver Island. The overtaking of the RV runs well, we were disappointed about the cleanliness of the car and the fact, that we had to pay 16CAD for each very simple camping chair! That should be part of a convenience kit -because of a camping car road trip!? However: We loved Canada, the nature, the wildlife, friendly people and we enjoyed it so much.

We booked our motor home last minute over the phone and was very pleased to be offered a 20% discount for the 20ft van we requested. However, on pick up day we discovered Canadream could give us any van they had available. So we ended up in a 28ft monster for two people that we didn't want. We came to Canada on holiday from Australia so wanted to drive around and see as much as possible. The fuel consumption in that monster of an rv chewed up any discount and more. Plus it was more difficult to maneuver and park.
We payed extra for bed linen and towels that looked like they were off Noah's Ark and such pure quality.
Lastly, we gave a credit card to the Chinese lady that did our paperwork on collection day. She assured us a deposit would not be taken from the card unless damage occurred. $3000 was deducted from our card straight away, which cost us a $114 foreign transaction fee. We are very unhappy to be so poorly mislead. Overall its been a very mediocre experience with Canadream.

The checking was easy. The car was new. The handover was very good. Also the return. But the kitchen equipment was very small. Only 2 plates, 2 forks, two glasses..., every part only two. We met some travellers, also two people but another company they had every part four or six. We think its not a problem for CanaDream to make its also.

Overall it was a great experience with our family, I would say the only issue we had was a leak inside the RV. It was a huge inconvenience however it was addressed and dealt with during our trip, unfortunately we couldn’t have it fixed and were left with it until we returned the motorhome. They did give a bit of a refund for the inconvenience. The motorhome itself was pretty clean however when we were packing the motorhome we found other peoples belongings and clothes. The motorhome drive great and had no mechanical issues.

We have driven other brands of motorhomes that had more practical layouts and were comfortable to drive. DRIVING: This RV's headlights were extremely dim, for a brand new vehicle. The driver's seat was not adjustable, for height or recline which made the drive uncomfortable. The engine strained significantly on uphills, as though the RV was too heavy for the chassis. A stronger engine and xenon lights are definitely a recommendation, as well as adjustable seats. A space allowance is necessary between the dinette and the cabin.
LAYOUT: This RV was spacious and had comfortable beds for 6 people. The over-cab bunk was very large, and the kids loved it. The TV wasn't secured and sometimes came out from the wall when driving.
The cupboards were high and had no shelves. Items could not be arranged practically and slid all around during driving.
The hanging closet must be bigger for 6 people - we could only squish in 4 coats; and there was a shelf in the middle??!!
Beside the sink & in the bathroom, there were no hooks, shelves, or towel bars . We had to balance a pile of clean clothes and a towel on the lid of the biffy! The mirror over the sink was placed very high, so the kids couldn't see themselves.
The back bed was unnecessarily large - the width of the camper! All the cupboards were above it, (very impractical) so everyone had to climb on the bed to reach their clothes. This meant a lot of dirty feet on the bed. If there were 2 isles down the sides of the bed, it would be more useful. We could also have had drawers and hanging wardrobes on the sides.
CONCLUSION: A practical & useful revision for the interior layout. Engine strength, captain comfort, and headlight strength should be revised.

It is unacceptable to have to check in scheme in place. You demand maximum flexibility from customers still they have to wait for pick ups. Further it is impossible to pick up a camper late afternoon and still drive somewhere nice outside the city. The same for drop off. If you need to drop off your camper at 09:00am there is no other choice than to sleep in Vancouver. In total that takes away 2 nights of your entire trip!
