My husband and I recently decided to purchase an e vehicle for the first time and after lots of research in to the best options for us we decided the brand that was surging ahead and made the most impression on us and therefore the place to invest our hard earned money was with BYD. We had reviewed the various cars on offer and we felt the Dolphin Surf Comfort was best for us.
We had a short wait for stock to be available though this was available earlier than had first been quoted by the exceptionally good team that work at the local branch ( Kelven, Toby & Devan) we’re all excellent in guiding us through the process and we took finance to ensure that we could exchange the vehicle in 3 years if technology improves in that timeframe. Again all was talked through and the team sold us what we needed with out being over bearing
All questions around the move to electric were answered and we felt confident and excited by the teams enthusiasm to assist us.
We were pleased with the be price we paid.
The vehicle is excellent and in the last few weeks of use we are very happy customers and pleased with the choice we made.
We have recontacted the team to ask a question and again questions were answered and resolved.

All members of the sale sales team were very helpful, and made buy in a new car a stress free experience.

From first viewing and test drive Chelsea and Chicaine were so helpful . They answered all our questions and made the process of ordering , buying and delivery of our Sealion5 so easy . They kept us in the loop of delivery time and when we picked the car up Chicaine was very thorough and professional in the handover . Would definitely recommend BYD Truro .

I absolutely love my new all electric Dolphin Surf. It’s been a great experience buying it. Bit daunting at first as very different from my petrol Ford Focus. No handbrake, no ignition key, no clutch, no gears. Just all positive responsive driving. It’s a pleasure to be out in it.

I have always purchased new cars and I have never been to a showroom that has given me so much time, attention and brilliant service. Every single person working at Exeter was friendly, kind and considerate, they all introduced themselves even if they weren't the person making the sale. I was not pressured into the purchase and I was given the opportunity to look around for as long as I wanted. I opted for the Dolphin Design which is a pleasure to drive. Every question I asked was answered constructively. Thank you to you all especially Ruth who dealt with my purchase.

Wonderfully welcoming as soon as we walked through the door, whilst not being pushy so felt free to browse and get the feel of each model available. We dealt with Simon and Michael and they went the extra mile when they did not have the colour combo we were interested in so they went to their stock area, some drive away, and bought us one so we could see it. Ended up buying a car from them and cannot recommend this dealership highly enough.

My experience with Plymouth byd was excellent, I dealt with dayle Campbell and he went above and beyond to find the right vehicle for me , one or two hiccups along the way but he went out of his way to resolve them, I would recommend Plymouth byd to anyone who is after a byd

Kelven was brilliant nothing was too much trouble and was extremely helpful.

We were welcomed as soon as we stepped inside to enquire about the cars. Although I had cancelled my test drive as running late we still managed to have one😊Simon Wingfield was a brilliant salesman explaining different things and answering questions without been pushy. We ended up buying an ato3 the same afternoon. The quickest we have ever bought a car!! We picked it up 4 days later and Simon yet again spent time explaining all the controls which the mechanics had already set up for us and he made sure the ap was on my phone and working correctly before we left.

Excellent correspondence and not pushing all the time like alot of other car companys seem to do and overall very helpful, Kelvin Barbosa who dealt with myself at Taunton was extremely noligable about the byd product ,a good listener and very patient as I had been going there for over a year without a purchase ? Overall a top salesman you do not want to lose , very impressed by him.

Poor customer service based on turning up for booked test drive, the sales rep was over 30 minutes late and no mention of having points on licence affects the chance of having test drive, ended up having my partner test drive and feeling very judged. No drink offered and very little apology. Everything up to point of sale from BYD head office was very very slick, professional and promising.

Great Company. Great Service. Good Luck for all

I have dealt with a few BYD garages in the last month as I was looking for Sealion 7 Excellence in white
By fortune Exeter BYD had the car and the spec I was looking for
I travelled 200 miles to collect the car and was not disappointed the car is exceptional
Freddie, Michael,Ryan and the team were extremely attentive and it is rare to write a review on customer care and service that exceeds one’s expectations but they really did surpass my expectations
I was extremely impressed and would not hesitate to recommend not only BYD as an exceptional car but the team as they made the experience a real pleasure
