Lousy Service-Stay Clear !!!!

The instructions were to provide a waist measurement. So they then sent me a belt exactly that length which is therefore 6 inches too short. And they then REFUSED TO REIMBURSE ME FOR THEIR ERROR !!! DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE INCOMPETENT.

Absolutely disgraceful service, belt never arrived, when you email they blame COVID, but weeks pass and I emailed again, no reply, kept emailing eventually got a reply saying the same excuse, asked for refund numerous times but got no reply, had to open a dispute through PayPal and finally got refund

Following on from my review on 27th January, after this company quoted their policies and procedures as a reason not to provide a refund and me demonstrating they had breached these themselves they are now ignoring any attempt to contact them. Most would accept that sometimes things go wrong, but ignoring customers once it has been demonstrated that something has gone wrong to avoid refunds is just plain rude and demonstrates a complete lack of respect for customers. Avoid this company because if things do go wrong you can see from many of these reviews that they just don’t care.

Excellent service. Ordered a belt & a buckle; received an email straight back asking to confirm the order details, then a follow up to say the order was being fulfilled. Arrived a couple of days later. The quality of both the belt and the buckle are very good, the belt itself is well made and sturdy and looks as if it will last a lifetime. The buckle is a good weight and again well made. Very happy with the purchase and the service and I’m sure I will use them again.

Unfortunately I’ve had the same experience as most people. I was sent a belt that was too small for me and the wrong colour. I returned the belt and at that point Jason (if that really is his name) just disappeared. Buyer beware is my strap line!! I ordered 4 belts in good faith as Xmas presents. They arrived and were simply not as I would have expected - leather was too coarse and the buckles were too large. I returned the goods and asked for a refund as per my consumer rights. I chased the refund after 4 weeks and was emailed to say that the belts were non refundable as they were personalised. In other holes punched in for size is deemed as ‘personalised’. Buckle My Belt have both the goods and my money, which can’t be right. Stay clear is my advice

ordered a buckle and paid extra for first class deivery.... i have heard nothing ( except a stragne email asking to confirm the belt length .... it is a buckle!) and no reply to my 2 emails.... this does not look good

I only looked at reviews as an afterthought after I had ordered the belt. Their website is very professional so I was surprised to read several negative reviews, and suspicious that reviews were polar opposites- either v good or v negative with little in between. I couldn’t find the website name registered at Companies House (it might have another trade name though). Given the pandemic restrictions & not being able to meet family I warned my father his gift may not arrive but I had honestly bought one!! However despite my apprehension my experience has truly been very positive. I got an email to confirm measurements, another to say order was being processed & another to say it was dispatched. Even with Xmas/pandemic postal workload the order only took about 2-3 weeks which I thought was pretty fair under the circumstances. My father really likes his belt which did arrive in time. I don’t normally write reviews but felt with smaller companies struggling I wanted to support them as my experience was positive. I hope they review process that had caused the negative reviews for those individuals on those occasions. To note it is more human nature to complain than to praise & in turn be motivated to write a review so you do need to take all reviews with some pinch of salt.

From reading most reviews there’s most definitely a theme here. I would hazard a guess that the excellent reviews are that of their employees or friends/family as my experience echoes that of the 40% of people on here who have had the same experience. Stay well clear and get your belt from elsewhere. PayPal contacted to report with a view to cancel the transaction.
Update: belt arrived nearly a month after I placed the order, but the quality for the money isn’t great. You can get better from M&S for £20 less than I paid!!!

First class service, excellent belt, will most definitely use again for further belts.

I ordered my belt just over a week ago, then read some of the reviews on this site, so just wanted to put my experience here. The website is easy to use, the measuring instructions clear and the comms were excellent throughout the process. after placing my order, I had a confirmation email as well as a request to confirm the measurements I had sent. I was then notified when the belt was dispatched and a tracking number given. The belt has arrived and it fits perfectly, is made of good, thick hide and has a quality finish. Based on this experience, I will definitely be using them again and strongly recommend their services. Thanks BMB!

I ordered a belt at the start of June and after a month I emailed them. Never had a reply, even when I call no one picks up.
I believe it’s a scam...

It took 30 days to receive my order in Canada due to the COVID-19 pandemic but I received it today and the product is absolutely superb. I would definitely order again.

I ordered a belt on 19th June for a birthday present and was somewhat concerned, from some of the comments on this site, giving that it had not been received by 2nd July so I telephoned Jason at Buckle My Belt (there is a telephone number on the website which is 0345 193 0438) and explained the position and he promised he would complete the order that same day. It was received 6th July and is excellent!

Ordered a belt on 27th April and I haven't received it yet despite numerous emails. It's now 4th July! Any proper company would have either issued a refund or a replacement belt by the start of June

I think this is a scam website. They took my money but I have not had my belt and they have not responded to any emails and do not provide a phone number. Avoid this company.

Don't bother as no communication from them when your item doesn't arrive I have sent emails and get nothing. Avoid this company.

Belt arrived quickly. Very good quality leather - looks good as well. Got lots of compliments. Will definitely order from BuckleMyBelt again. Thanks for the great service!

Ordered a belt as a birthday gift on Sunday 22nd September and paid for first class delivery, 10 days later the recipeints birthday has passed and still no belt.

No response at all to emails sent on 26th and 29th September asking for a delivery date. No facility to track an order on their website.

If it gets to 2 weeks with no delivery I'll be reporting them to PayPal.
