Bristow and Sutor are bullies
The way Bristow and Sutor treat you is disgraceful, intimidating bullies. I came home to an Enforcement Visit Warning on my door step. Saying bailiffs had visit before, they hadn’t! I spoke to the enforcement agent to explain I haven’t even had 7 days notice of a visit. His reply was not my problem, take it up with Royal Mail and that he needs to come round and video what possessions I have. I don’t feel safe enough to let them in. I suffer from anxiety and depression.

We had a letter and email at the same day to pay for something we didn’t even know what it was. They gave dead line 5 days prior to the date we received a letter. I am not sure how they were expecting this. Someone called Steve with tel: number started threatening to send someone to collect our belongings, and lied to us that if we pay now and we appeal it we will get the money back. He was unprofessional, threatening and lier. Obviously we paid as we didn’t want anyone coming to our house as we have young kids, thinking we will get a refund. We had a letter from transport of London that they can’t proceed with a refund as we settled the payment. These people are liars and trained to be one. They were apparently sending letters to our old address so we didn’t get original notes, but then this company got involved without letting us to investigate what actually happened. Turns out we didn’t own anything to anyone and Steve at baristaw &sutor walked away with £780 pounds cash. They are scum bags, obviously we have involved the relevant authorities for them to refund the money.

Firstly I will give 5 starts to the live chat agent Kim she was (the second agent I was connected to) she was understanding not rude or abrupt with me she has done what she could do to help today you need more people to learn her ways she’s an asset to your team! However, the first agent Astif or Atif, did nothing to even try to help me today, no choices no guidance just pay or have enforcement come and take your belongings …. Lovely even though I was polite pleasant and asked for help he gave no guidance at all and even closed the chat down when I went to reply after he sent me a long msg about people entering my home taking my belongings being charged £239 and then there was a £1500 number on there basically scare mongering and bullying. We’re not all people who can’t pay our bills in this instance I paid this bill via the council link which took the money and then the computer cocked it up I pay my bills and on time so don’t judge people and instead of thinking your superior trying being like Kim and just just be pleasant and try to help the person asking for help!

Earlier today, I contacted your office and spoke with an agent named Luke. After passing security with the client on the line, the client disconnected, and I continued the conversation with Luke. Unfortunately, he informed me that Samantha—the advisor handling the account—was unavailable. Despite my explanation that he could view all the relevant accounts and assist me with the necessary information, the exchange became unproductive, with no resolution before the call abruptly disconnected.
Upon calling back, I was fortunate to speak with Miss Kulvinder Shokar. Her professionalism, clear communication, and genuine willingness to assist stood out. She handled the situation with the level of care and competence that should be standard in all customer interactions—particularly in this field, where clients often feel vulnerable and are seeking help through debt management services.

Intimidating Bullies with NO Payment Plan Options
Intimidating bullies who refuse to let people in financial difficulties make any payment plans. Their website has no payment plan options. They send you to their WhatsApp which does not work. They harass people and make them have to borrow from anywhere, including loan sharks. They cause sleepless nights and suicidal tendencies. It cannot be right to force people to put the roof over their heads at risk just to pay a rough bunch of bailiffs from Bristow and Sutor who don't offer affordable payment plans to those genuinely unable to afford over-priced council taxes for inefficient councils that offer nothing to those decent British people who are NOT claiming benefits and just work hard!

What an AWFUL company
What an AWFUL company! They have no compassion for vulnerable people! Rude, condescending, arrogant advisors. Seen responses stating that are trained to deal with vulnerable people, no they are not! This company and the people init only care of getting your money so if you thinking of trying to set up an arrangement with compassion dont bother! Trained to be bullies and this company should of shut down. I was talked over, told theres NOTHING anyone can do to help me. Asked to speak to manager and apparently managers don't deal. One of them even put the phone down on me. Absolutely disgusting.

not happy at all had bailiffs at my door today never received a letter of notice of enforcement at all called bailiff Owen his name and would not let me pay what i had agreed previously as due to benefits how am i meant to afford over 500£ in one go omfg very nasty to me on the phone this morning they said they sent the letters which i never received not my fault i didnt receive them but blaming me for it i dont work for royal mail so what am i meant to do really but they think i can magic letters out of thin air wow

I paid off my debt to Bristow & Sutor in full back in November yet since then I’ve had no confirmation or follow-up from them. Despite settling the debt I’ve now been told that the balance has somehow increased every month and I’m being asked to pay over £3,000 with no explanation.
I’ve tried multiple times to contact them by phone and email but I have received no response whatsoever. It’s incredibly frustrating and distressing to be treated like this, especially after I did everything right and paid what I owed.

Unlawful Enforcement & Zero Accountability—Bristow Sutor, TFL, and TEC are thugs!
I have had a disgraceful experience dealing with Bristow Sutor over a PCN, which has wrongfully escalated to £560 due to blatant misconduct and fraudulent enforcement.
They mislead people into thinking their website submissions are dealt with, they don't respond neither do they respond to emails, they don't care about anything you have to say they just want money.
Even if you complain they don't care about that. As such you can't even escalate the matter ro regulators because the regulatory body will say seek remedy with them as a consequence there's no where to turn, blimey.
Procedural Breaches & Intentional Harassment
Despite overwhelming evidence that enforcement should be halted, Bristow Sutor has disregarded legal processes, ignored legitimate communications, and deployed bailiffs to harass me—even though the PCN was never legally served to my correct address.
The facts:
- I moved from London, in November 2024.
- TfL confirms they sent both the initial notice and subsequent court action to my old address.
- They acknowledge mail was returned as "Gone Away," proving beyond doubt I never received the original PCN.
- Regulation 10 of The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (England) General Regulations 2007 requires proper service—this was completely ignored.
- Bristow Sutor continues aggressive enforcement, despite clear evidence this case should have been reset.
Obstructive & Misleading Communications
Bristow Sutor deliberately ignored multiple attempts to resolve this before enforcement:
- Two online communications submitted—no response.
- Two phone calls made—assured someone would contact me, but no response.
- After another attempt, that had no response I called them and was finally told that website submissions are not monitored! So they knowingly mislead people with a non-functioning process.
Bailiff Harassment & Aggressive Staff Conduct
- TfL confirmed they had notified Bristow Sutor of my Statutory Declaration, that turned out to be a lie as the bailiff turned up again, online when you view the PCN it shows their notices were sent to the wrong address.
- Yet Bristow Sutor continues enforcement, with a bailiff visiting my home despite the case being legally invalid.
- Later that same day, two of their staff members—one woman, one man—demanded full payment of £560 and refused to stop enforcement, even though there are clear legal grounds to halt action. You should hear these people how they carry themselves and speak to people.
No Help From TfL or TEC
Shockingly, TfL and TEC have admitted they cannot do anything, despite knowing full well that the original notices were sent incorrectly and should be reissued. They give you the run around, TEC will say it's TFL that can help you and TFL will say it's TEC that can help you, they will both say there's nothing they can do and pass you around like that so I resorted to just ignoring them because noone is listening. So sod it.
🚨 Consumers Beware—Bristow Sutor, TfL, and TEC operate with zero accountability, obstruct legitimate challenges, and enable fraudulent enforcement practices. 🚨
Avoid them at all costs. If you find yourself trapped in their enforcement nightmare, get legal intervention immediately. Or just be straight up gangster with them, because I am not paying them we can do this all year every day don't be intimidated and DO NOT OPEN YOUR DOOR UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. THESE LOT ARE THUGS AS SUCH YOU ALSO NEED TO BE A THUG TO DEAL WITH THEM GET ON THEIR LEVEL. JUST DONT USE VIOLENCE OR SAY SOMETHING THAT WILL MAKE THEM CALL THE POLICE THEY WILL SWITCH IT UP AND PLAY VICTIM BEWARE.
Moreso, despite TFL having confirmed they are cancelling the penalty and categorically said no further action is required from me I forwarded the email to Bristow & Sutor and called them, they still insist speak to the Bailiff Ethan Liam Bromage isn't answering his phone nor are they willing to contact TFL themselves, they said they will wait for contact in the meantime I should endure the Bailiff abuse, absolute villains talk about thuggery this is at its best. I just know they not getting a single penny from me.
They should be closed down sad thing is if I switch up to their Ghetto levels I become the villain so I won't stoop that low, absolutely atrocious company to deal with left me mortified to know people like Bristow Sutor exist, Jesus I feel sorry for anyone that has ro deal with this type of animal behaviour. These people are not human at all they are villains/vultures from another planet.
It left me wondering if everyone that works at Bristow and Sutor is a millionaire because they way they carry on them call centre people I have no words. Their tone and vibe is just vile, devil type people.

Awful company. I first had dealings with Bristow Sutor in November 2025. They were rude from the start I have paid each month even though some were slightly less but some slightly over so I am still exactly where I should in the repayment. I got a txt from someone called Neil asking me to ring I rang but no answer and no ring back. On Tuesday I got a txt from bailiff (Charlotte) telling me to ring that day or they will come to my house and take my car (I don’t have one) I have txt her and rung her. she rang yesterday I answered she put the phone down I rang straight back no answer. She has seen all my messages and I have proof of this and payment. My anxiety is through the roof.

So I wrote a review on how I was treated, warrant was for my ex who no longer lived here and yet they claimed MY truck and forced themselves into MY house where I live with my teenage daughter, they sent me request for my details which I replied too but heard NOTHING from them! Don't believe them when they say they want to look into your complaint because they actually don't care about the people they do wrong too. It's disgusting behaviour from their baliffs... they guy even threatened to have my dog put down! Don't worry I still have it all saved on cctv!

I have to say that I was really worried when I started dealing with them, I was falling behind on council tax, however when I had the chance to explain to them the situation and also discussed my case with the council, we managed to get to a suitable agreement and they were quite helpful, they had some rude people in the call centre, but if you act like a human being and show them that you are trying to make it right they are ok. The bailiff that showed up at my address was reasonable as well, all ended good, I'm following my plan now and they are helpful every time. It's a two way communication and if you reply on time they are helpful.

Bristowe and sutor are a bunch of bullies. I did not initially receive my ulez letter when I went to Harold park from Chelmsford. I was ordered to pay £500 by one of their very aggressive officers . They then said I should pay 100 a month . 4 years ago I suffered a stroke so unfortunately have been on benefits . However I have returned to work part time a couple of months back , but then had a fall and fractured some ribs so have not been able to work for a few weeks . Last week I could not pay £100 and said I would be in a position to pay it next week which is now tomorrow. They are now sending an officer around tomorrow to seize goods etc . I’m listed as a vulnerable person etc due to various issues I have since the stroke. I have never in my life dealt with such a hostile companies that seem to employ bullies. Surely there are regulations where they cannot treat or talk to people the way they do. It is disgusting . Reading reviews I’m here I’m not the only one . Watchdog may be interested in this case and the press. I’ve never refused to pay I’ve said when I can if I hadn’t of had the fall it would have been paid but I’m self employed. My stress levels are sky high due to this company.

Absolutely awful company! Been told I owe money. They can't tell me when then crossing was (debt is for Dart Charge!) Told me to follow link to find out. No crossing on there.
Today Paul got in contact. Was rude and told me he wasn't privileged to the information from previous chat just that I was 'rude'.
Wasn't interested in anything I was saying. Told him I have sent a witness statement (and have proof of this!) And told him I can't afford the charges anyway today. Told me he is going to terminate the call but my debt has now gone from £194 to £427 plus £110 because they will clamp my car!

A very nasty company indeed told me my heart attack and subsequent major heart surgery and mental health with prescribed medication was irrelevant and like another reviewer on here offered a plan that was so out of reach meaningless … disgusting that so many public bodies choose to enrich these companies usually on the backs of the poorest and most vulnerable because it is easier the chap I spoke to very very nasty … I feel for people that choose to do that work

Bad company don't answer WhatsApp, don't answer emails then send enforcer out causing undue stress. Made me very ill indeed. On top of that I had been paying as it has been taken out of my money and can prove it to them now my head is a bit straighter. Caused stress not only to me but to my autistic son.
