Incorrect final invoice quickly sorted after a phone call.
A fairly knowledgeable initial contact but an extra £360 appeared on the invoice.
A call quickly established this was incorrect and I had, as told, paid full amount.
Bit surprised no apology with new invoice.
Also, always check if ‘no single supplement’ advertised in brochure still applies when booking.

With regards to the single supplement, where possible on our tours we are able to arrange single supplements. These places are limited and will sometimes be sold out however we are up front at the time of booking if these places are no longer available. England, Guernsey and Sark Garden Tour
My trip with Brightwater exceeded my expectations. It was well organized, the gardens were wonderful and planning was good. Our Hotel locations made our travel days convenient. I appreciated the meals, most planned but some on my own. Booking the trip went smoothly. Overall a memorable trip.

Possible lack of experience
The person that I spoke to on the phone didn’t appear to know what I was talking about despite my giving her all necessary details. I wanted to pay my deposit. I got the impression that she had to go away and ask for guidance before we could proceed.

Living in Canada
Living in Canada, I was booking the garden tour in England online however I needed to contact Brightwater twice by phone. Both times, the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. I look forward to the tour Aug 9-12 2026!

Good coach tour
Good coach tour. All gardens were beautiful especially Highgrove, where we had a guided tour & lunch. Excellent coach driver & tour guide gave information on each garden before we arrived. Hotel was good but food could be improved with more choice . More idea of homeward drop off time would have been useful so arrangements could be made for onward travel.

Brightwater website horrendous!!!!
The Brightwater website is totally rubbish and it is incredibly difficult to find the wanted holiday as the selection section does not work! I initially tried booking online but couldn’t complete the booking because my email address (previous used with Brightwater) was rejected as having been used before. I phoned to make the booking in the end as was told that there were horrendous problems with the website and that it was being completely replaced in the coming months. The Brightwater website is honestly impassible to use!!!! 😡

I loved the choice of gardens, the owners more than helpful and ready to share their experience. Often offering tea and cakes. I felt safe with our driver, Charles, and appreciated the knowledge of our guide Alex Goodyear.
Great comfortable hotel and super evening dinners thanks to the cheffe of the Walnut Tree restaurant in our hotel
