( an email came only after I called and told them to refund. Then I have to tell them to email. that too not from a trusted source. There is no Airfare or ticket details mentioned, just an amount that they have deducted and told me this is the refund. )

We take claims of fraud very seriously, so we want to clarify the facts of this booking for anyone reading this review. Our records show that at checkout, a non-refundable product was selected called ‘refund shield'. This is clearly disclosed at the time of booking.
We want to be fully transparent about what happened with this booking. Your flight itself was refunded in full, and based on your own timeline above, that refund was completed within about a week of your original booking date. A company operating fraudulently would have no reason to process a full flight refund that quickly.
We've been in business for 40 years, operating in four different points of sale and stand by applying our policies consistently and fairly. We understand it can be frustrating when an add-on product isn't refunded even though the main booking is, but ultimately we have not engaged in any unfair practices.

Unhelpful and frustrating
Dealing with this company is so frustrating. When they want our money they are very quick to put deadlines on payments. However when it is the consumers turn to get a refund, they delay to the extent that the consumer ends up in financial turmoil. Having received the refund from the airline a couple of months ago, we are still chasing Brightsun travel for our refund. every time we call, we are made to speak to somebody different however they are consistent in saying we will refund within 12 hours. Their 12 hours never arrive. How do they run their business. Unacceptable behaviour is also shown when speaking to them on the phone. Their staff are very rude and treat the consumer as if they don't have rights. they don't record their calls either so then there is a lack of evidence when complaining. We are still awaiting our refund.

Booking the trip
Booking the trip: it was easy and the staff was prompt at replying and communication. We find the price offered slightly better from online, however I feel that not enough options were suggested for hotels. For example, the old town hotel that was booked for us was terrible, I feel like we should have been given a few options and may be better ones.
The other resort Sherwood Lara exclusive was excellent.
Regarding flights, it was not recommended to do online check in before therefore we had to pay 20 euros at the airport. I think if I had booked the flight myself, I must receive the email from airlines suggesting/ offering online check in. (Saving the 20 euros)
Regarding inter hotel transfer, we paid 40 euros.
That was more that we were informed.
I tried contacting the what's app regarding airport transfer-a few hours before return flight. There was no response at all from your team.
I wish to book with you again but I may be a little more vigilant.

I have used Brightsun several times and now they are my go to company for bookin holidays. their service seems to improve every time, very personal and proactive. i can only say good thinks about Brightsun and my dedicated team member - Nisha Maradia is outstanding. even whilst I am aborad she engages and resolves problems at my holiday/flights.

Holiday to Rhodes
Booked a trip to Rhodes with Parul Jadav and from the time of enquiring to confirming the booking, Parul was extremely helpful, provided some recommendations and was professional. I’ve booked a few holiday via Parul and highly recommend him and Brightsun Travel.

Very disappointing customer service…
Very disappointing customer service experience with Brightsun
I have had a very disappointing experience dealing with Brightsun, especially regarding date changes after departure.
My concern is that Brightsun regularly charges a fare difference for date changes even when the same class of service/fare bucket is available on the new travel date. When we check the availability through the GDS, the same fare/class appears available, but Brightsun still applies an additional fare difference without providing a clear explanation.
I am not blaming the Brightsun agents personally, as they may be following the process or information provided to them. However, the real issue is the lack of proper support and transparency. When we ask Brightsun to check with the airline and explain why a fare difference is being charged despite the same fare being available, there is no clear answer or resolution.
For a travel company, customer service and proper communication are extremely important. Customers expect accurate information and support, especially when charges are involved. Unfortunately, my experience has been frustrating due to the lack of explanation and accountability.
I hope Brightsun improves their customer service process and provides better clarity when handling fare rules and date change requests.
