The courses that they offer are well structured, informative and very well geared up for small councils. They are also happy to share knowledge that might be outside of the scope of the course and excellent at following up when additional help has been requested.

Breakthrough Communications have efficiently and speedily assisted Godalming Town Council with their e-Newsletter setup and training service. They have talked us through every step of the way and their after setup support is excellent. The whole package is simple and excellent value for money and we are looking forward to sending out our first e-newsletter.

I recently attended an online session on "Effective Comms and Engagement in a Post-Lockdown World" and it was by far the best webinar I have been to all year! It was interesting, well-paced, with useful and practical information to take away and act on. As a result myself and colleagues will be reviewing and improving our Town Council communications - better equipped with the tools to do so!

Dan very kindly put together a Facebook session for myself and a colleague. It was excellent and pitched at just the right level and content for our purposes.

Dan has set up our Facebook business site for our Parish Council. It's a very professional looking site that we had input along the way with. We have received bespoke training (via zoom), and Dan has been there to ask any questions we may have, even after the site is live.

I found this a very useful meeting, having picked up some good tips!

Particularly the free photos/design anything with Pexels and Canva.com. I do have to produce posters for our notice boards for various village activities, ie Litter Picks, Open Gardens, Sports events, Christimas tree switch ons and I shall certainly use these sites for inspiration.

I note also that 'tone' used in communication is important.
