The social media training was really useful for Officers and Councillors alike. Councillors really appreciated the training being delivered by someone who also has experience as an elected representative.

The trainer had a relaxed and engaging style. This was partnered with a well thought out pace of delivery in easily digestible topics. Recent training on writing a press release was incredibly helpful as a parish council officer without a media background. Daniel walked us through the basics of how to get started and make contact with local journalists, as well as talking through a real life example of an upcoming event that we want to showcase as council. Even if you are good at communicating and writing, press releases have a particular format and I highly recommend Breakthrough Training to help get it right first time.
