I've just received back the boot sent to you for zip replacement. I see that you've repaired the original zip and refunded my credit card in full. I can't thank you enough and will recommend your services to all my friends. It's a pleasure to write a review for an honest and trustworthy company.

Everything was so easy. I followed the step by step instructions and when I had a question and got in touch with the team, the response was prompt and professional.

I had a 10+ year old pair of Scarpa walking boots which started to let water in and the soles were degrading so sent them in and despite needing to pay a little extra for extra work required, the boots were returned to me with immaculate and sturdy new soles. My boots have many years left in them now. Would much rather pay £100 or so to get new soles than pay over £300 for new boots so thank you so much to the Boot Repair Co. Will be sending my Docs in soon!

From the point of contact to the return of my Red Wing boots, I could not of had better service.

I have a pair of Red Wing Beckham boots whose soles were in desperate need of replacing. I live in Argentina and brought them back to the UK this winter. I chose The Boot Repair Company after reading about the positive reviews and being a recognised Red Wing repair service. After an initial issue that was sorted out by Rachelle in a very professional manner I was delighted with the quality of the work. Thanks to all concerned for the professional service.

With two pairs of DM's that sorely needed new soles and rewelting I turned to the Boot Repair Company - as recommended by Dr. Martens. I'm glad I did as the quality of the repaired boots are as if they were a new pair.
The price was reasonable, considering the price of a new pair of DM's. The shipping process straightforward, and turnaround surprisingly quick.
I haven't tried their non DM service yet but I'm sure it will be just as good.
Will recommend.

From start to finish, the customer care has been amazing! Tom in Customer support was fabulous and kept me informed about the process throughout. I am so pleased with the final product...my boots are now back to their perfect self!

What a great company to deal with. I sent my Dubarry coat to them to be repaired as it had a tear on the front pocket. 2 days after they received it I had an email to say it had been repaired and was being dispatched via UPS. I was so impressed at the quick turnaround, however once UPS got hold of it that’s when things started to go wrong. UPS emailed me to say they had received it and said it would be out for delivery the next day, 2 minutes after the 1st email I got another email to say it had been delayed and would be the following day I.e. Friday. Nothing arrived on the Friday and then UPS went quiet, no information at all. In the Monday I contacted Rochelle at the Boot Repair company and she raised a complaint with UPS. After over a week UPS admitted to losing the parcel, during this time Rochelle kept me fully informed about what was going on. Rochelle informed me on the 21st January that they would replace the jacket, sure enough this morning 22nd January I received a brand new replacement jacket. I cannot thank Rochelle enough for her help in this matter, what a star she has been, she is a credit to your company.

I sent my boots via post to The BRC, they were in a decent condition to begin with but the soles needed replacing. They replaced the soles, worked their magic with the leather and sent them back within 10 days or so, they look brand new and wonderful now. Will definitely be using them in the future for my other boots, thanks for a great service.

My resoled Danner Boots now look as good as when I first bought them, almost 12 years ago; fabulous quality, value and service, and very much appreciated

I first used this company to resole/heel and stitch my DM’s. The great price, ease and efficiency was outstanding. My boots were returned in under a week. Then my 14 yr old Russell & Bromley boots came apart, so I sent a photo. No problem. I sent them back, requested top service as the boots are worth it, and they came back as new. Once again, I’m delighted. I will definitely make this my go to company for any future repairs. No more landfill for my boots or shoes.

I sent in a pair of Dr Marten boots that I had painted in everyday for 7 years. They were covered in hundreds of paint layers. Had no grips left on the sole and heel, and one of the ankle loops had dropped off. The Boot Repair Company did a fantastic job. The boots were completely transformed - new ankle loops, rewelted with red stitching, resoled and most importantly - some, but not all, of the paint taken off to reveal some of the nicest colours I’d ever spilled! They managed to keep the character that I love about my work boots while also totally overhauling them. Extremely pleased and worth every penny. They also threw in two pairs of lovely laces in different colour ways. I can tell they did the job with pride and care Love these guys!

I was gutted when the soles of my barely used Dubarry boots crumbled and split open. I've just had them back and the new soles are so much more robust. They've done a fabulous job. I highly recommend them

Sent my 40-year-old vintage 20 eyelet Doc Marten boots to be resoled and a few extra repairs. 100% satisfied with the interaction with the support team (Tom) and the quality of the repairs. Should last another 40 years!! For Doc Marten repairs I would give them 6 stars if possible.

I sent back some Jadon Dr Martens for a sole replacement. As it was mid-December, I contacted customer service to check they were still able to accept them this side of Christmas and Tom was very helpful explaining turnaround times right off the bat. They arrived 17th December and I expected not to get them back until the New Year. Then they arrived back today on Christmas Eve! Absolutely amazing workmanship, the new soles look and feel amazing and the boots have been polished too. Cannot fault the Boots Repair company at all, from start to finish I have been impressed. Thank you so much team, I will definitely be using again if I have any more boots that need some TLC 😊

I sent photos of my cowboy boots over to check they could be repaired - they could! It was easy to pay and post them off. They took a little longer than the 2-4 weeks estimated (my boots required specific soles, so just bear this in mind if you have an ‘unusual’ or specialist repair). Rachelle was really responsive and kept me up-to-date, even getting them back to me just in time for Christmas. This will have been a tricky repair and the stitching is perfect. Thanks Rachelle, and team!

In December 2024, I used the services of The Boot Repair Company for my Dubarry boots. These boots, rarely worn, had slightly cracked original soles. Given their impeccable condition and the high cost of a product I love, I agreed to pay nearly €150 for resoling both boots.

I sent my boots to them, and the resoling was carried out. The repair was fairly neat, but after less than a month of use, the soles started to come away on both boots, at the upper bend and almost along the entire heel. The customer service acknowledged an adhesion problem and asked me to send my boots back. Trusting them, I agreed and sent the boots for a second repair.

When I received them after this second intervention, I noticed that my boots had been quite damaged: the leather around the sole, about 0.5 mm, had been scraped, presumably to improve adhesion. I decided not to complain as long as I was happy to get my boots back.

I wore them very little during the rest of the winter. At the end of September 2025, I finally wore my boots again in conditions that were far from extreme (a forest walk on 20/09/2025), on relatively even and dry terrain. Yet, after only 1 hour 30 minutes of walking, my feet were soaked.

My boots, which cost me nearly €600 including repairs, are therefore no longer in as good a condition as before sending them for repair, and are no longer waterproof.

I sent an email with photos showing my boots and my soaked socks, as well as the condition of the leather after the second resoling. They offered to have them sent back a third time. I am now waiting for the manager to return from leave to see what can be done.

Resoling a third time is no longer feasible given the condition of the leather after the second repair.

I hope a lasting solution can be found, as I trusted this company, which seemed to offer a good repair service for quality products, despite the repair being expensive considering the current outcome.

I should note, however, that the customer service is quite responsive and attentive, and all communications have been very friendly. I hope to leave a better review once a solution has been found.
