Cineworld Brighton Marina is an…

Cineworld Brighton Marina is an absolute shambles. Paid for tickets at the till for 1917. My 18yr old daughter showed ID. Bought drinks. Headed to screening. Manager changed her mind, and decided my daughter was 14, in spite of showing ID.
No apology for messing up. We spent £38. Cineworld currently refusing to refund full cost inspite of the manager claiming we would receive this. Disgraceful.

Awful company, the customer services advisors are rude and they lie to you.
Their website went down and didn't allow to black card member to book any 3D movies
I can them made them aware of the situation and have been surprised to find out that they knew the issue.
As a resolution of this has been promised my next month free ( how when my membership was ending this month...)
Following this, I went to the cinema to watch ” The secret life of pet 2 ” bad experience light on and the publicity keeps repeating the same advert.
Called them been advise that some complimentary ticket will be provided to me and a call back from a manager will follow.
Days pas and nothing happened.
On the same call, I mentioned the month free resolution that I received from my previous call, I also let the adviser aware that I wanted to renew my membership.
I've been advised that I need to wait for the end of my current membership to do this and use the offer ( this is very strange as they never mentioned this on the first call)
Today I called them 5 times been advised 5 different information, I've been treat like a thief, patronizing and put on all for no reason.
On call number 4 the advisor told me that I will just receive 1 voucher for all the trouble.
At this point, I had enough and just wanted to come off the phone as I had to go to the cinema to watch Aladdin.
At the cinema, I tried to use the voucher and it doesn't work I called them and received rude information and been advised that there is no record of my previous calls.
I just had enough management are rudely been refuse to raise a complaint, they refuse to send to me the complaint handling procedure for their company and when I mentioned that I want to have ” access to my information ” or ” system access request ” I've been rudely answering that every company is different and that if I need something I need to go on their website and send an email...
There is no place to raise a complaint or to request to receive the information that the company have on their website
It cineworld so jot complaint with he new DPA Act and the regulation?
I hope that someone will reply to me and provide me with a resolution.

Cheated out of 13th Month Free Unlimited Cineworld Card

One year ago I applied for a Cineworld Unlimited card and used a promo code. I get 13th month free and referee get one month free . I got screenshots receiving the code and saying done to me referee that it cam up on the screen application.

Now one year on my card has expired 12 months on . Is it because I paid year in advance ? I dont know ? I called Cineworld and the man said get the promo code and they will apply it . I called in again this time a lady and she says subscribe again and cancel after the free month .

I dont think that is right I know for a fact it is a 12 month contract and you cant cancel. So the information was wrong and I and my friend have been cheated out on the free 13th for me and one month for him free .

Is anyone else with the same experience ?

My referer is a black card holder and finds it odd that Cineworld didnt honour it the two times I called in.

Not at all happy , I told the lady I would put up reviews and lodge a complaint with BBC watchdog too as I feel cheated and her answer was to subscribe again and cancel that would be deceitful and I am sure I would have a tough time cancelling or dealing with debt collection agencies for non payment.

When ever I have to deal with these or even try to do such basic functions which have been around for like 20 years these guys still don't support it.

I received a Unlimited gift voucher in 2015 so went on the site to sign up all appeared fine (took long time to receive card missed out two weeks temp pass expired) phoned staff about this all they could say was they are only ordered sent in batches they don't control this.

First thing I noticed how awful the phone app is it kept logging me out and forgetting my details also moaning about having to many bookings.

my year is coming to an end and another Unlimited voucher had been purchased for me as gift simple you would think you just apply it to your account o no you can't do that, you have to wait for your unlimited to expire then resign up again with new voucher and not only that then call them and get them to merge account very annoying.

With doing that again have to wait for another card to come this time they did upgrade me to premium once the card arrives temp pass is still just standard.

The other annoying thing is again have to go through entering new card into my account and app also noticed it no longer gives any details when you look in your account so even the invite friend doesn't work.

This whole process is silly.

Now on to the whole uplift charges premium gets 3d only and if want the other imax, 3dx, superscreen need to pay more (why not just offer different packages forcing people to have ot pay extra is bad and i know some will sya you dont have to pay see it normal screen well some cineworld have been releasing first week in only these screens)

next the prices of drink food is so over the top and they dont even offer to meet people who has strict diets everything is packed with carbs/sugar.

Final thing which annoys me is how some movies are not even shown at local cineworld they could do a few days limited showings to not even show movies at all is terrible there was a point one year i missed out on over 50 films because of this.

Worst Nightmare experience

We were watching a tamil movie SARKAR yesterday 10/11/2018 with our family in SCREEN 3 Cineworld. First half of the movie the sound was working only from the front view of the screen and little bit on the right side on & off.Nothing from the left side( looks like 2.1 with no surround ...). The volume was too low, no surround and felt like watching 80's series.Screen brightness was too low compared to other leading cinema.

When spoke to the staff they said will inform the operator. But nothing has been changed. I thought it is only me but also few more complained like me. This doesn't happen during Holywood movies.

During the interval went to the Deputy manager, ILFORD. First of all he was rude and his reply was atleast you could hear the conversational sound and may be the movie's background music doesn't have good sound(FYI: the music for this movie has been done by the OSCAR winning music director A R RAHMAN). Finally a little bit of volume has been increased although the quality of output is like hearing from the old RADIO.

We all go the cinema for the visual experience and the 5.1 /7.1/ auro sound. Otherwise the same movie can be seen from any mobile or home devices .

This is not the first time the SURROUND SOUND IS OFF in cineworld. They always do for some reason for the past 10 years for the regional movies.

I hope that I am not the only disappointed customer.

booked to see 1st man at Gloucester …

booked to see 1st man at Gloucester was directed to screen 9 film started but then stopped and replaced by polish film,. complained to staff and after some effort managed to obtain an explanation from the reluctant manager who immediately tried to blame the staff for misinformation which she had initiated in the first place. Customer service is a joke and certainly no better' was on the phone for 15 minutes trying to obtain a refund Would not recommend pre-booking tickets with this outfit .

Cineworld let Down shall I cancell

WELL turned up after joining Cineworld since then and we have turned up for a movie that on the website says 7pm for a unlimited viewing at wakefield. We got there and it's wrong time showing as it actually starts at 8pm lol . Also pre booked for next Tuesday unlimited and pre ordered tickets for both which costs money and told thats wrong as it's not 7pm and that's 8pm also . Soo glad we asked. Get it right . We are sitting here over an hour waiting . Several people have turned up for other movies on other days and wrong times on the website also .supervisor told us . .We pay 17.99 a month each for this . What are Cineworld to do . ? This os not a good start after all we are still waiting for our red unlimited cards to arrive . Seriously thinking this is a bad idea . Can you make this good for us .

Cineworld A Low Rent Entertainment Option!!

2 apps and the online site, all showing different times and days the film I want to see is on!! Cineworld is clearly interested in a) customers money b) running an operation at the lowest possible customer care expense. Talk about squeezing the profit margins to within an inch of its life!! This is clearly a woefully organised operation wether online or at the cinema itself. You would think they'd get their act together as a major cinema chain, but NO!! Low rent entertainment! Low rent operation! Pitiful customer experience!!

Queued for 40mins. 1 of 10 tills was open and the staff didn't bother speeding things up by opening more tills. A shocking take on what good customer service should be
