Poor customer services and booking
This morning I called customer services because I couldn't book as guest on their website.....it keeps timing out!
This is a common problem and has been going on for months. On the internet many others comment on this.
Customer services said book online through an account or use the app.
I downloaded the app reluctantly..only standard tickets appear...I wanted senior tickets.
I called back. Customer services had no answer. He cut me off! I wasn't rude, just asking.

Bad sound
Yesterday watched a Indian regional movie in cineworld Newcastle gate. The screen is supposed to be a super screen but the audio quality was pathetic. It felt as if only left hand side speaker were working.
This is a long awaited movie and went with so much expectation but the screen totally spoilt the experience.
New app is useless
New app is useless, I'm an unlimited customer and haven't been able to make any bookings. Very hard to navigate on the app, I don't know why it doesn't go straight to my preferred cinema instead of having to search everytime surely most customers use the same cinema all the time. Anyway none of that matters as when I go to pay for any bookings the app crashes. Probably going to go back to Odeon where everything was simple. Reading other reviews looks like I'm not alone with this problem

Had to change my booking a couple of times and was a very awkward customer, thanks to Anna, Sam especially, and their boss Gordon came over and sorted it too. Great customer service and Anna especially had a great knowledge of the films she was providing . Many thanks
My Cineworld Rip-Off
I paid a fee of about £5 to join 'My Cineworld', which promised 10% off all tickets. I have just booked 2 tickets for a film next Saturday and once the booking fee was added, I saved the magnificent sum of 5p per ticket! This is a total rip-off. In order to break even, I would have to book 100 tickets over the year and that's just nonsense. I used to pay nearly £30 per month for two Unlimited cards before Lockdown, but I could use them at any time and for any Cineworld cinema, with two exceptions. Now, you can only use an Unlimited card at a nominated cinema. Terrible way to treat customers who you are relying on to build your business back up. It's no wonder that folks are not returning to Cineworld as they are being ripped off in this way.

Llandudno Junction rip off
Arrived at Llandudno Junction cineworld today to watch Lost World Dominion as we're on holiday. Arrived to find it THE most expensive cinema at almost £24 for 2 adults. Questioned staff and they tried kidding me that the film makers set the price which is a blatant lie since I watch several movies each month and the most I've ever paid is £8 per adult. Got into the cinema and the seats were very uncomfortable and caused me to have a dead arm cuz my elbow was leaning against the arm rest. Will never be going back there again.

The booking system is diabolical.. it gives you 6 minutes to book but takes ages to load payment page!!! So then times out!! Get rid of the timer and upgrade the website. Its happened for the last couple of years and is beyond a joke. We go regular and this really puts me off!!!
Frustrated
My partner has just sat for a little over an hour trying via both his tablet and mobile to book x2 tickets online as we were gifted an e gift voucher and they can only be used online . It constantly times out won't click to the pay balance by card bit , says there is a problem please try later , scan the card then won't take the card again oopss there is an issue please try later ! Really really wish we hadn't been gifted a card for this cinema chain as he has now got so annoyed with the whole booking fiasco we probably won't manage to enjoy the film and the rare date time we have together . A very disappointed and upset customer ! I would not recommend using the online booking service to ANYONE until all these issues are sorted . It should not take over an hour to book x2 tickets . This was for the Aberdeen venue however the online system is the issue
Trying to book Lady of Heaven apparently woke got there first.
Well as well as the website being a pile a crud it appears the management team have no spine either as you can no longer book to see this film.
Think it's time to look at whos in charge and ask the question what is going on?
Fantastic service at Cineworld…
Fantastic service at Cineworld Wednesfield. Bought my ticket through the app. Got an email confirmation and added to my wallet. Went straight to the relevant screen and was scanned in. The cinema was updated just before covid and looks fresh and clean. I had also booked to see another film but needed to cancel. As I had booked on the app it was very quick and painless. Click on the Request Refund box and Credit less booking fee was back in my account within 48 hours. Email confirmation was also sent.

Like the cinema and have an unlimited card but seriously need to deal with their booking system- can't actually book if I'm logged in, need to approach as new user then choose that I'm a member at buying and log in including putting password in as apparently no option to save or stay logged in. Don't get it
App and Web down again
App and Web down again. Cash payment only but no cash machines available. I could forgive it if was a one off, but looking at the other reviews and web articles on this, I can see it's a continuous issue over many many months if not more than a year.

Online booking system atrocious. Doesn't work well & spoils experience. Cant log in - says wrong password , it isnt (then accepts same). Input vouchers unsuccessfully multiple times. Aborted vouchers having paid for them for sake of speed.
Eventually got tickets after 30 minutes. I have had poor booking experience several times over last couple of years.
Best experience was when I complained to customer service. Switched on Guy immediately said it was not working properly at moment and he wished they would either fix or get rid. Took the bitterness out of my mouth. Then he offered a couple of free combo meal vouchers. Nice touch Thanks
Excellent Customer Service
When we arrived to see Top Gun in Cineworld Gloucester Quays we were advised we had booked the tickets for the previous day so they were not valid. The staff were very apologetic and gave us contact details for customer services. We contacted customer services by phone. The call was answered promptly and when I explained our mistake we were told a refund would be with us within 3 days. An email confirming the refund was received within minutes and the money refunded the same day. Can't fault our experience with Gloucester team and the offshore customer services. Thank you!

Tried app but that installs then just errors when opening it.
