Cineworld Website is a broken nightmare hellhole

Tried booking 3 tickets on the website and it's a nightmare, eveytime I selected seats and then proceeded to book them they would be taken by someone else as I was in the process of buying them. Got 6 errors everytime I typed in card details, then kept getting, an edward scissorhand message to try again.
Website simply doesn't work, and is always stressful. Cineworld refuse to fix their awful broken website and its a complete joke, ahh I'm so mad, gave up in the end, they won't have my money!!! Boo to you cineworld

DISASTER ZONE

I have used the Cineworld booking website many times over the years. It is by far the worst I have ever come across. It has just taken me over three hours to book two tickets, in the course of which I have received an impressive range of fatuous error messages - eg timed out, no evidence that you are not a robot, password not recognised, even "ET is making a phone call home: try again". It is also painfully slow, and the Paypal link is erratic. The management must be aware of their long term shortcomings but it seems that they just don't care.

Can't book tickets online!

For months now I have been unable to book cinema tickets on my mobile. Just get a red rotating circle then it times out. Booking on my laptop fine though. However I do not have my laptop with me and as usual can't book on either my or my husband's mobile. So I called them. What a waste of time. Told me there was a problem with the website and that they would report it to IT, and for me to try again in 30 minutes. But I tried to book tickets 5 hours ago, as well as just now - and couldn't, so how waiting 30 minutes is going to help is beyond me. You can't even book over the phone! Trying to give Cineworld our custom but when they make it this difficult it won't be surprising if they go under - which would be such a shame.

Booking on line APPALLING

Again and again the Cineworld website just refuses to let me book on line. Either by PayPal or with my debit card it ALWAYS times out. No wonder they're bankrupt ! Worst on line booking system I have ever used,

No exchange or refund on booked tickets for guests

When booking tickets for 4 people, (3 adults and 1 child as a guest), it said there was a non-refundable deposit of £3.80...which I thought would be fine if my niece changed her mind about which film she wanted to see. She did, and wanted to go and see another movie. It was 2 and 1/2 hours before the movie started. However, their 'non-refundable deposit' is entirely misleading...in fact the entire thing is non-exchangeable, non-refundable. If this is the case, it should say the entire amount is non-refundable and non-exchangeable at the time of booking. They are taking advantage of the fact that people don't read terms and conditions, hiding behind it as a poor excuse, and happily misleading customers. It was included in my decision to go ahead and book that it said there was a non-refundable deposit as that seems a clear indication that I could cancel/exchange and get the rest back while losing the deposit, which would be fine. Out of order and terrible customer service also. I actually thought I had misunderstood when he said it wasn't possible to change the film we were going to see. Go to another cinema. There are plenty more to go to, with better customer service who are supported by better management decisions, who are transparent with your rights when bookings are made. Bad form Cineworld. Naughty Cineworld.

Awful customer service. Go elsewhere.

Very poor experience with customer services trying to resolve an issue with cinema vouchers which were bought for us as a Christmas present. What a waste of money for our friends who bought them. Don't waste your money on this company of you have other options - go to Odeon or a local cinema instead

Tried the Warrington Cineworld

Tried the Warrington Cineworld, got greeted by an obnoxious staff member,think it was Jordan. I asked for a small and large nachos to be told only regular so when asked do they do 2 sizes he smartly said yes but it's regular and large,not small!! Then the cheese sauce was stone cold and tasted very sour, unedible for nearly £12.50!!! Seats not as good as Vue so I shall not be returning to any Cineworld. Vue all the way!

Manager Matej lack of customer service

Went to the cinema with my family. Matej the manager was awful. As a at regular cineworld Wembley- I’ve never been so disrespected in my life. Other staff were lovely and looked embarrassed. Later one of the staff apologised and confirmed he treats ethnic minorities in this way. Why he works in customer service when he is so uncompassionate so rude - I can’t comprehend who put him there in the first place. Highly disappointed

No surprises here

Obviously, it's well established that cineworld's website is garbage, but today's experience compelled me to leave one star.
20 mins on the website and still no closer to buying three tickets.
Imagine the level of incompetence
Involved in building a cinema website that struggles to sell cinema tickets. Impressive

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service that didn’t want to issue a refund even do I have chickenpox. They seem to be okay with me going to the cinema and spreading a viral infection to the public.

IMAX 4D for the experience is also not great

FREEZING

Went to Cineworld at Kingswood Hull on Saturday 14th January 2023. The auditorium was so cold I had to sit with my coat and gloves on and I was still freezing. This is the second time this has happened. The first time we complained to a member of staff and obviously with the price of heating they are keeping the heat low. This has put me off going again as I am not prepared to sit and freeze.

Fantastic evening to see Love Actually…

Fantastic evening to see Love Actually at Cineworld an event for National Lottery customers. Very busy evening and wish cineworld would show more films with more times to encourage customers back to the cinema. Cineworld staff done a fantastic job, friendly and helpful team. Regular cineworld customer but lately disappointed with films and times that are available. Thank you National Lottery and cineworld staff.

Rubbish app !

Rubbish app !
I have 2 Cineworld cards and can’t seem to book 2 tickets together puts us in single seats fat apart or says leave 2 seats between ! It’s a joke puts me off going!
A waste of £15.99 per month ! Garbage !

DO NOT try to book tickets online at Cine world

If I could give no stars I would.
It's November 2022, and after several years (see social media) their website is not fit for purpose, do not try and book tickets - everyone!
You will waste time, and get absolutely nowhere, I can assure you.
