I started speaking with the team in late 2022 when I decided to propose to my then girlfriend. I had seen Blackacre's rings and jewellery, and although I live in Australia I was very keen to work with the team to design a ring for my partner. We went through the process together and it felt really personal and thought through. The distance/time zone difference made no difference with regard to the 'engagement' I felt throughout the design process, and I felt very much a part of it and able to input and ask questions/for advice. Sam and I had multiple video calls and discussions about the different ides I shared as to what we wanted the ring to look like. On a trip back to London I spent time at the office looking at different stones which could be used in the ring, which was such a nice thing to do, actually being talked through the background to gem stones by Laura, and what to look for when choosing something that we would have for life. Sam kept me up to date through the final stages, and promptly finished the ring just in time for me to have it ready on my partner's birthday as a surprise. Sam took the time to make sure it the ring was properly shipped so it arrived in time for the last minute date I had thrown into the mix late on! I would 100% go back to Sam and Laura, and recommend this personal and special experience to anyone looking for something different when buying their engagement ring.

Recently bought an engagement ring for my (then) girlfriend from Blackacre. Laura and Sam were incredibly helpful and knowledgable, providing great, no pressure advice all the way through. They sourced the perfect diamond and the end result was exactly what I was after. The whole process was made a lot less daunting than it could have been and we will definitely be returning for our wedding bands. Couldn’t recommend more.

Sam and Laura are great from start to finish! Blackacre are not a jeweller, there are thousands of jewellers, they are an engagement partner. They will be with you from the start of your journey and the whole way through with their kindness, professionalism, knowledge and reassurance (very helpful if you’re a chap riding solo!).

They helped me find mine & my Fiancés' voice in the ring we designed by guiding me through the selection. Speaking to my scientist side while making sure design, elegance and timeless beauty stayed at the centre of our design. They always prioritised fitting to my timings and when I walked out with the ring before popping the question I was sure I had the perfect ring. - the initial design process was done based on a few suggestions which ended up resulting in something we could present to my Fiancée;
- throughout Laura educated us around diamonds and the way that Blackacre create jewellery, before landing on the perfect stone for the piece.

Outstanding customer service from Laura and Sam. Took care of every detail and communicate effectively throughout the entire process. Even dealt with my not living in London by allowing friends to visit the studio to see example rings and diamonds.

Sam, Laura & the rest of the Blackacre team are just simply the best! Made life so stress free and really spent time getting to know me before designing the most exquisite piece for me and my now fiancée. Would recommend and would definitely go back for other pieces. Laura and the rest of the Blackacre team could not have been more friendly and helpful in helping me and my fiancée choose the perfect ring. From being flexible with scheduling appointments around work, offering a huge selection of stones that were within budget, keeping us updated (with photos!) of the different stages of making the ring, through to finally being presented with the amazing end product, I am so pleased we went with Blackacre rather than trying to find something in a shop window. I know we would not have had the same service or amazing, sparkly outcome anywhere else.
