Requested an updated BMW North America Road Map for my 2018 X3. After order was placed for a download version, within minutes I received an explanatory email (from Tyler @ Bimmer America) with a link to ~30 GB download. Everything worked as expected and install completed within ~20 minutes.

Great company and support! I placed an order on Wednesday 10/18/2023. A couple of hours later, I received emails with detailed instructions on how to download and install the updates. I ran into some issues and reached out to them. Tyler responded immediately with detailed guidance and instructions. I kept checking with him at every step of the process. Great company and support! I initially placed an order on a product that apparently would not work on my car and was quickly informed via email by the company President Steve why the product I ordered would not work due to the year of my car (and immediately refunded my order) and he also recommended two products that would work. So I placed a new order based on Steve's recommendation. A couple of hours later, I received emails with detailed instructions on how to download and install the updates. I did run into some issues and reached out to the company and received a prompt reply that I need to restart my PC and disable some software to get it to work. After that all went smoothly. Great company and amazing customer support!

The Navigation update for my BMW was massive (24GB to download) but they sent great instructions and everything worked out perfectly. 10/10 experience.

Going from the 2014 navigation version to 2023 is a huge upgrade :D

Use Firefox for large downloads. I struggled downloading that large of a file with several other browsers.

After my struggle with another vendor and weeks of frustration I decided to take another try with a new vendor “Bimmer America” simple and straight forward delivery in days and Install on My BMW X5 2014 in less than 50 min. The instructions were easy and clear, after successful install worked on the first try. I wish I could add the same way a upgrade to have apple play in my BMW.

I ordered the EVO 2022-2 North America map update for my 2016 BMW 428i online. A couple of hours after the order was placed, I received download and installation instructions via e-mail. (The file is large (~28MB) and took over half an hour to download.)

The instructions are straightforward, although I found it necessary to provide my own Fat32 formatter for the USB. Nonetheless, everything worked, and the new map is now successfully installed in my Bimmer!

I enjoy being involved in my BMW’s maintenance. However, very few things can be done by the owner as BMW has built many complex systems into the “Ultimate Driving Machine”. Bimmer America provides all the knowledge I need to update my BMW GPS maps myself. Thank you for making a smooth process.
