Excellent customer service, contacted Cherie by email and got an immediate response confirming a scheduled Engineer visit. The Engineer(Matt) sent me a txt to confirm his arrival time, on arrival he listened carefully to my door issue and took the time to explain how he would resolve the issue. Matt, respected the house preparing the area with a dust sheet whilst he worked. He was polite, friendly and did a magnificent job!

Disappointed in service post purchase
A really positive pre- purchase experience with Zak and team, this resulted in order.
Strong delivery communication and delivery fast and efficient.
Disappointed in response to issues post delivery, door handle not as described, paid for premium handle to be told not possible, despite listed on order.
Requested new handle as poor finish and despite 3 chase E Mails 8 weeks later still un-resolved. Feels no control post purchase on manufacturer of these premium Cortizo Plus doors.

Initially very pleased with doors
Initially very pleased with doors, however I have now been attempting for 5 months to get a remedial engineer to visit under their warranty scheme. Hottest summer in history yet unable to throw open doors.....pointless!!!!

Fantastic Team, Fantastic Product
We had a fantastic experience with The Bifold Shop from start to finish. The whole team were friendly, professional and provided excellent customer service throughout. Alan was particularly helpful and patient, answering my many questions and always being happy to help.
We are extremely happy with the high standard of the windows and doors. The bifold doors look incredible, and I absolutely love the sleek lantern window – it has made such a difference to the space.

We deliberately waited six months…
We deliberately waited six months before leaving this review because we wanted to give a genuine, long-term opinion—and we can honestly say that choosing The Bifold Shop was one of the best decisions we made for our extension.
We had stunning six-metre anthracite grey bifold doors installed, along with new rear doors to our boot room and garage, as well as new windows throughout those areas. Having everything completed at the same time could have felt overwhelming, but thanks to The Bifold Shop, the entire process was seamless from start to finish.
From the initial enquiry and detailed site surveys through to installation, every stage was handled with professionalism and care. Communication was excellent throughout, the team were knowledgeable, punctual, friendly, and clearly took great pride in their work.
Six months on, everything still looks and performs exactly as it did on day one. The quality of the products and the standard of installation have exceeded our expectations, and the six-metre anthracite grey bifolds have completely transformed our extension. The rear doors and windows are equally impressive, tying everything together perfectly.
We genuinely cannot fault The Bifold Shop in any way. They delivered exactly what they promised, and the customer service was exceptional from beginning to end.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Bifold Shop to anyone looking for high-quality bifold doors, windows, or glazing products, and we will absolutely be using them again for future projects.

My experience with Bifold Shop has been…
My experience with Bifold Shop has been disappointing overall, primarily due to the number of quality issues encountered after installation.
We ordered flush casement windows, but when the products arrived, only some of the windows were the correct flush casement specification. Others arrived as standard casement windows and had already been installed before the issue was identified. In addition, several windows arrived damaged and required remedial work.
The problems did not stop there. Within eight months of installation, every window required hinge replacements because they were not opening and operating correctly. The bifold door hinges also failed, and our front door (supplied through one of Bifold Shop's manufacturers) required a replacement lock within six months.
To be fair, the company has generally been willing to resolve the issues, and I cannot fault them for eventually sending engineers and replacement parts. However, the sheer volume of problems on what should have been a premium installation is unacceptable.
The window hinge issues alone have been ongoing for more than four months. During that time, engineers have attended with the wrong hinges, insufficient quantities of hinges, or parts that were unsuitable for the repair, resulting in repeated appointments and further delays.
The most frustrating aspect is that while the after-sales team has tried to help, customers should not have to deal with this many defects and repeated remedial visits so soon after installation. When investing a significant amount of money in new windows, doors and bifolds, you expect them to work properly from day one.
In summary, the sales process was good and issues have eventually been addressed, but the quality of the products and the amount of aftercare required have left me very disappointed. I would think carefully before purchasing again.
