I took out a policy that hasn’t even…
I took out a policy that hasn’t even started yet (due to begin on 25/04/2026), and they suddenly increased the price because of an alleged incident with a previous insurer that is still under investigation. I explained clearly that I have not been involved in any confirmed accident, but they refused to listen.
When I asked to cancel, I was told I would have to pay a £40 cancellation fee even though the policy hasn’t started. On top of that, the customer service was extremely rude and unprofessional, which made the situation even worse.
Overall, very unfair treatment, poor communication, and disappointing customer service. I would not recommend Be Wiser Insurance to anyone.

You came up with the very best price…
You came up with the very best price along with the lowest excess for any company. Also if you required to purchase extras they were well explained and the different levels and costs. The only issue and it's slight because I live in N.Ireland most other insurance companies give you an republic extension. This just saves you the need for contact if you may be crossing the border. Of course it's possible I have missed it. It was also very easy to complete the purchase online.

Perhaps they will reply and publish an email for their customer services?
Reply confirming that customers cannot email them!--- Not impressed! Have renewed with another provider that has 2 way communications with customers.

They don't ask for relevant information prior to taking your money.
Certain information is not asked for prior to taking payment. Also why should a claim on a different insurance company that has nothing to do with the vehicle being insured, have any relevance to the insurance being purchased. A van, a house, a bike ??????
