Awful service Ordered jumper for Christmas

Did not arrived
Sent emails no reply
Eventually got through on phone and item was on back order with no expected date. I asked why they had not replied to my email - they said they had backlog of over 5000 emails
They did issue refund

Disgusting Service

I ordered a shirt on the 22/11/25 and it failed to arrive on time. After my first email on the 1/12/25, I received no reply. I then rang and was told it had been cancelled, even though it was still showing as in stock. I requested a refund and was told it would be arranged. I am still waiting (30 days) after making numerous calls and emails. I have now taken this matter up with Resolver, who will deal with this on my behalf.
This did not even deserve a 1 star rating! Come on Ben Sherman, get your act together before you lose trade in the droves… I for one, after successfully purchasing goods previously, will never order from you again!
Your customer service is none existent!

Zero Customer Care

Dreadful return service, long wait, complaint sent - still no refund. I do not recommend using this Ben Sherman site.

Update: 21 days since making a return, not only no refund but still no response to complaint. Shocking lack of customer care.

Appalling service. Still no order!

I ordered a week ago. 2 days later my order had not been received as expected having paid for next day delivery. I called and waited on hold for a lifetime. The lady I spoke with was pleasant and stated “DPD have not scanned the parcel in but it has been despatched”. I waited to see if it arrived the next day. It didn’t. I spoke with DPD who, again, stated they had not received the parcel.

I sent 3 emails to Ben Sherman. None have been responded to. I had to again call today and endure the long wait on hold. The Lady I spoke to today was abrupt and not in anyway apologetic other than initially for being on hold.

“I’ll get another parcel out to you today”. Not a hint of recompense for the inconvenience endured and I asked for my postage costs back.

As a result of this, the reorder will take 2 days rather than next day because I had the audacity to ask for the insignificant sum of £5.95 back for the next day postage I paid!

I wish I’d read the reviews here.

We live and learn.

Returns never refunded

Returned 2 items. Have never received a refund. Managed to speak to customer services once who told me they would sort it but never did. Raised tickets by email but never get a response. Tried calling customer service number maybe 40+ times. Always first or second in queue but line eventually goes dead. Dreadful customer experience - avoid like the plague.

Update: In desperation I called Crew Clothing whose address is on Ben Sherman returns page. Although they couldn’t help me directly the agent said she would pass my issue to a member of the BS team who share the premises. Refund email arrived 5 mins later. Let’s see if the money turns up !

I have had a suitcase for about 5…

I have had a suitcase for about 5 years. It is only used twice a year for work trips to the US. The case has never been overfilled yet the zip broke. I have now discovered that I cannot get it repaired. So environmentally unfriedly.

Faulty goods, zero response

Faulty goods, zero response to emails. A return of defective boots was simply not processed despite return being confirmed, and the replacement pair ordered on the same day were never sent, with no communication at all.

PayPal fortunately refunded both orders, otherwise I am confident I would have been charged twice with no recourse.

Do not purchase from them under any circumstances.

Please check the amount they take from you

Please check the amount they take from your credit card before you leave the store - I was overcharged and tried calling the number on the receipt as soon as I got home but this only goes to answer phone and they never call you back. I called the number on the website - sorry can’t help, emailed customer care - sorry can’t help. Maybe I was lucky to get a response but their customer support is nonexistent. This is not a store that I will ever be returning to. Please check the amount they charge and not just the amount they ask you for - it may well be quite different.

Infuriated - DO NOT RISK ORDERING

Infuriated. WAITING 2 MONTHS FOR A REFUND & STILL NOTHING? ARE THEY IN TROUBLE?
I placed two orders - both have been a nightmare.
The first order - 4 items ordered, 2 out of stock but charged for 4. Eventually refunded the out of stock items. Then I returned one of the two items I received. No refund for the returned item despite tracking saying it arrived safely. Two months and emails later I got the refund. BUT the second order I placed (which was 3 days after the first order) - it flashed up out of stock as soon as I placed the order but it still took my money. No email confirmation or anything. And guess what - they can't find it! So they have my £18 from 17th June. I have emailed and they don't know what they are doing. Keep coming back to me with misinformation. I tried phoning but you get put on hold. Told your 2nd in the queue and then after a few minutes it cuts out. Every Time. DO NOT ORDER FROM BEN SHERMAN. A huge retailer like this with a VERY BIG PROBLEM somewhere.

Only part refund given for item out of stock from Ben Sherman UK

Ordered shirt from Ben Sherman UK. Unfortunately it was too small. Returned it a week ago for a refund, no response to emails and they do not answer the phone. Ordered a larger second size separately, paid for a next day delivery. 4 days later nothing had arrived. Phoned and was told that they were out of stock. No one told me this. Requested a refund for the second shirt, but they have only done a partial refund not the complete amount. Have tried calling and emailing but no response. Will pass this on to Trading Standards, Paypal and contact their CEO direct from Companies House website contact details if I do not hear by tomorrow. One refund not done and one refund only part done. Very poor customer service.

Ordered 2 pairs of Hemmings boots…

Ordered 2 pairs of Hemmings boots online a few weeks ago having had an email from Ben Sherman to say they were back in stock but they failed to arrive.
Contacted them via email as there is no alternative and no contact phone number but absolutely no response from them whatsoever.
They have my money but no goods and am very annoyed! Have raised a case on PayPal to get my money back, Ben Sherman have also not responded to this either so have now escalated to PayPal which can take upto 30 days to get a refund.
This is the second time in succession this has happened and had to get my money back through PayPal on that occasion too. Do not buy from Ben Sherman! They are not worthy of a one star rating and are the worst company ever!!

zero customer care

returned an item for refund but tried many times to find out if it has been received? item sent 2 weeks ago and still had no answers. customer service is non existent.
so so annoying. still no answers apart from a few messages we will be in touch within 2 days???? then nothing, would never buy from here again. now a month later.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!

I would like to add to everybody else's experience to confirm that this is the worst possible online retailer in the UK. They charged two cards for one order and they overcharged six times the amount on one of the cards leaving me almost £1500 out of pocket. I contacted them straightaway with evidence of the issues but despite repeated emails my request for customer assistance was ignored and they showed complete lack of care and empathy.
So much so that now I have to ask both my card providers to look into back charges options.
They only provide an email address as the only option to get in touch with them and with that good luck if you ever hear back from them.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE

Placed an order for a pair of gents shoes same as a pair I already had that needed replacing. Paid for next day delivery as I was going away. They arrived next day with correct size on delivery note wrong size sent. Returned next day for refund and requested a refund of postage as they had made the error. Ordered another pair for next day delivery that arrived 2 days later WRONG SIZE AGAIN!. This was 26th Nov. Only today received 1st refund after multiple emails but they haven't refunded postage. Nothing yet for 2nd refund I requested. Customer service THE WORST I have ever dealt with. would never order online again!@

Missing items from the order

Missing items from the order, bag was damaged at the bottom and fixed with cello tape. Lack of proper customer service, only email, where this type of issues should be possible go resolve straight away over the phone... Takes ages to respond-up to 5 working days if sale is on.... Seems they don't care and feels like lost monies but still hope that someone will reponse and resolve the issue otherwise will provide breach of contract letter as no other choice

I went to the Brighton store on Black…

I went to the Brighton store on Black Friday and was
Pleasantly surprised to see everything was 50% off.The two guys who served us in the shop were very helpful, having to find different sizes of various items of clothing.(Sorry, I forgot to take their names).Nothing was too much trouble for them and I came out the shop very satisfied with my visit to the shop and buying a great selection of clothing at a great price.
