Placed an order which arrived in a couple of weeks, i wants too bothered as i know this is an ethical brand. However, i need to return the item (way too big in and too expensive to tailor) and i have not heard back at all since i emailed about my return on Feb 16th. I even messaged them on Instagram - nothing! It is very frustrating and definitely puts me off ordering form them again.

I ordered 2 pairs of mens pyjamas before Xmas for my son. They were too small so I returned them using the returns label on 7th January. It is now the 22nd February and I have not received a refund. The tracking reference said that the parcel could not be delivered as Royal Mail had received a request not to deliver to ADKN's address. I have contacted ADKN twice about this and I have had either no response or a promise to look into it and respond within 2 working days. Needless to say, I have heard nothing. Never mind 'slow' clothing - impossibly 'slow' refunds

Scam company selling cheap clothing under the guise of slow ethical fashion. There is no way a reputable company making clothing in London can sell clothes this cheap. Returned some items as the quality was shocking still waiting for my money. I guess like other reviews I won’t get it back.

I was looking to buy a pair of pyjamas with ethical values and came across this company. Initially I was concerned by the reviews, but I'm pleased to say that my instincts proved correct. The pyjamas arrived promptly and were of good quality. Would happily make further purchases from this company.

Either a scam or the worst clothing company ever !!! Ordered 3 shirts on 3/10/25 got them on the 16/10/25 nearly two weeks. When I questioned them about the delay and also the other bad reviews “it’s just noise, it’s slow Fashion”. When the shirts arrived, you could see the labels had been removed from the collars, I think they are buying them in cheap and then re selling them as in house made!!! So I returned them immediately, Two months later still waiting for a refund, I have had to lodge a complaint with bank stay far far away from these guys. They will also say I’m fake but ask Alex Moran from customer “slow” service!!! Update: still no refund, luckily my bank has refunded my money STAY AWAY !!!!!!

Do not order from this company. Full of lies and scam. I ordered 2 pairs of men’s “luxury” pyjamas and one Cuban shirt costing me £195. They arrived weeks later than they should and extremely poorly made with many faults, raw edges and one pair of the men’s LARGE pyjama shorts are too small for a size 8 woman.

Tried to initiate the return but my order number won’t work. I’ve emailed them 5 times with no response.

Complete OPPOSITE experience to what they claim on their website.

Scam company. Avoid. Rubbish quality clothing that took ages to come and they make it extremely difficult to request a refund. I posted the item back weeks ago and have heard nothing about my refund.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Return portal not working, no response to emails. Buy from these at your peril. £90 out of pocket

This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with an online clothing company. The items are overpriced for the quality, but the issues go far beyond that. Every time I’ve tried to return something, it’s taken over two months just to get a response or a refund.

There’s no phone number to contact — only email — and most of the time, I either got no reply or had to wait weeks for one. I’ve submitted two formal complaints, and neither has been addressed.

On top of all that, my orders never arrived on time.

I won’t be ordering from this company again. The customer service is unacceptable, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

If I could give 0 I would. Genuinely the worst and slowest customer service I’ve ever experienced. Do not recommend purchasing from them at all. Held my money for weeks and didn’t respond to any email. Order was weeks late to arrive and refund took weeks to get with daily emails chasing. Quality of pyjamas was poor for price and slightly see through.

EDIT: I can see ADKN have responded, I emailed SO many times with my information to get a refund and the company ignored. I ended up claiming via my bank as the company was proved at fault. The fact it took over a year to respond to my review says everything.

I purchased 4 items in December 2023, I requested to return two and exchange the others. It took them three months to process the exchange of the two items. Unfortunately when I did eventually receive them, they still didn’t fit. After a bit of effort I managed to process a return, but I am still waiting for a refund for all 4 items. Do not buy from this company. All my communications are now ignored whether by email or the online chat. It’s a shame as the clothing is lovely but the service completely terrible.

Items are good quality but customer service is lacking. Ordered some items and there was no initial comms about a delay, only after reaching out did I get updates. Items arrived and good quality but a size L didn't fit in the bust for most items (and I'm a size 12).

Requested a return and didn't receive a label, the website said I had to wait for the return request to be approved, waited a week then reached out to be told of an IT error. This was eventually resolved and I sent my items back. It's been 3.5 weeks since posting and still no refund. The returns go to a PO box and they took a week to collect them so they've told me I should receive a refund within 14 days from receiving the return (which I guess means when they collected from the PO box).

In a simultaneous order than I cancelled because they told me they didn't have fabric in stock, I'm still waiting on a refund 2 weeks later.

Poor customer service, nothing like other small brands I've interacted with and no idea why it takes so long to refund a customer.

Been a wadding customer for years but only recently bought some of their newly launched japanese inspired loungewear and I must say the quality is excellent! Went for the navy samue set and I am so pleased with it, it's so comfortable and stylish and ADKN were very helpful throughout the process and very responsive via the online chat. Thanks ADKN

I am concerned ADKN are a scam site, and I can't get to the bottom of it. I purchased a dress in June 2022, and then it didn't fit, so I returned it. To do that, you need to request a returns form. It took so long to get it, that my refund missed the refund window, so they issued a voucher. I wasn't happy with this as it wasn't my fault they took so long to generate the return. I didn't want to use the voucher so have since been debating this with them, with latest correspondence in January 2023, with follow-up in June 2023, and emails are still unanswered!! After such an extortionate amount of time, I have no idea what is going on with this Company. They are impossible to get hold off. My experience with them has not been good. I'll see if they get back to me upon reading this review, which will be just over 2 years since purchasing an item from them!

I recently purchased some swatches of bamboo wadding and recycled cotton calico from ADKN, and I was impressed with the quality right from the start. The bamboo wadding is incredibly soft and eco-friendly, while the recycled cotton calico has a beautiful texture that worked perfectly for my projects. After testing the swatches, I placed a larger order, and I’m pleased to say that the products lived up to my expectations.

However, I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the delivery took a bit longer than anticipated. It wasn’t a huge delay, but it was noticeable, especially when you’re excited to start a new project. Despite this, the customer service was responsive and the products are top-notch, so I’ll definitely be ordering again.

I came across ADKN while looking for ethical sustainable brands in the UK and I was pleasantly surprised. Their entire ethos really resonates with me and it's good to see such brands still fighting for what is right in this industry. I ordered the gorgeous Abbe hemp jacket from them and I kid you not it is absolutely stunning! Better than I could ever imagine. Only giving 4 stars as it wasn't clear when ordering that this was a made-to-order item (not that I needed to return it) but clearer messaging would have been great :) I would have bought it anyway, but the long wait was a bit unexpected. Thanks ADKN, i'll be coming back for more

Got some bamboo pyjamas a while ago. Very good quality and soft, very pleased with the value. Came in a nice gift box. Delivery took very long but to their defence the parcel was with DPD for over a week so not sure what happened there. Will be recommending to friends and family

Ordered a robe for my husband and didn't realise it was a pre-order and that it'd take 1-2 weeks for it to arrive. It is mentioned on the product page but wish I'd received an extra confirmation of this before starting to panic I won't receive my product. The robe is really soft and good quality though so all in all I'm pleased with my experience

Got a made-to-order Maia dress from them for my friend's wedding and I am very happy with the quality. The materials is very nice and I am in love with the lining. Only removing one star because the production took longer than they originally stated and they didn't update me properly along the way. I'll bear that in mind for future but apart from that very happy with my purchase!

Discovered ADKN after falling in love with one of their dresses a friend wore at a wedding and knew I had to see what they were all about. I am so happy to have found a brand that is actually this honest and ethical in their practices. The designs are superb and materials very good quality. I ordered an Amelia Dress but it was unfortunately too small. Sandra in customer service helped me out very quickly and guided me on how to make my return online requesting an exchange. It was so easy and straightforward without complicated details like most brands require. After returning the order to them, I received my exchange within 1 week, it was all very smooth and didn't have any problems.
