Purchased the wrong battery. Tried emailing them on a no. of occasions and no reply. Tried calling thyem and phone constantly engaged. Don't know what to do as no way of getting a refund or sending the battery back to them. They still advertise and take your money though.

If it were possible to rate this company lower I would. I have found everything that has been posted here to be true. No sign of my order. No response to emails and no answer to calls and ring back doesn't work. DO NOT BUY FROM FROM THIS COMPANY.

Every review on here about Batteries plus.co.uk ( Waverley Group ) are true.

Phone constantly off the hook and do not respond to your emails. Stay well clear. Or if you do decide to try your luck with them. Pay Via PayPal so your money is protected.
These companies who behave the way this one does needs closing down !!!

Contacted the company by submitting an enquiry email on the website 16 June 2020 to ask about a battery product. I would have preferred to discuss my enquiry over the phone but their 01474 705832 telephone number was permanantly engaged as it was today 2 weeks later and still no answer to my enquiry. I wondererd whether or not they may have been suffering business wise from the Covid 19 pandemic until I read the reviews and it seems to me they have no business acumen and appear to be incompetent in dealing with business matters. I've given up contacting them anymore and certainly won't be purchasing any batteries from them following the problems others have had from the reviews with Batteries Plus in Longfield, Kent.

Ordered AA batteries and did receive within a week but wrong batteries sent. Emailed company who did respond the same day and they told me to send them back which I did on 4th June. No response to 2 emails and phone continually engaged. Paid by paypal so have submitted a claim.

I ordered some batteries for my solar garden lights on May 19th 2020. I haven't got any notification about delivery or confirmation of my order, still waiting for my product to arrive. I am pretty positive they scammed me, because they did take my payment. Luckily, I paid through PayPal, so now I'm waiting a response from Paypal in regards of cancelling the charge for this transaction. Batteriesplus.co.uk is the worst company ever!!! Stay away from it! It's a scam!

I ordered rechargeable Solar batteries May 21st, a week later I have not received them. I emailed the company, no reply, so,I decided to call them , the number is constantly engaged.., so I decided to research them on the internet to come across the bad reviews on this website!..Thankfully I paid via PayPal therefore I put a dispute for product not received.

purchased a pair of NCR1850 3400mAH cells from these guys. The cells looked genuine enough, until i put them in a T5 tester, which is able to calculate the actually capacity.

Both cells tested as 3000mAh

The batteries they shipped me have non factory printed labels stuck to them saying they are 3400mAh, so someone is labelling batteries up as higher capacity then they actually are !

Order placed on line and charged to Paypal never received notice of order placed. The phone line is always engaged even on Sundays. There is no way on the web page to search "my orders". Even worse no delivery . I should have searched reviews before placing order, my advice do not use this company

Hello, after reading these reviews I also tried to contact this company using the number listed as unfortunately, I had also made a transaction using my debit card. Again the phone line was constantly engaged regardless of the amount of times I tried. I have now cancelled my debit card and blocked any payments. It has also proved impossible to submit the electronic contact form.

Should have read the reviews. Waited two weeks for delivery of a battery before twigging on to the fact this was not a covid-related delay. I had no information from this outfit right from the start and still haven't had any.
Luckily I paid with Paypal and received a refund within 24 hours.
Stay well clear of these cowboys.

I placed my order, and then... read your reviews which made me very nervous. I called the telephone number, and couldn't get through as it has a tone that didn't change whatever time of day I tried. I then emailed the company, and did get a response but not the same day I sent it. This response said my order had been shipped. Then today I received the order (slightly different batteries to what I ordered, but the delivery note said they will work just as well).
This isn't a scam company, they are just not that good at keeping the customer informed of the transaction, and when it's due to be delivered.

Still awaiting refund to debit card of payment made on 26.2.20
despite several messages emailed to them after I returned unused and with Proof of Posting, unmarked "Panasonic" batteries delivered originally in blank white boxes, as I could not make them work.
All other companies automatically refund a debit card on receipt of goods back ... also puzzled by the firm's alternative name on payment: WAVELEY....?
To lose a new customer for just £12.90 plus £3 postage is irresponsible in today's post-Brexit Coronavirus trading.

Do not buy from this Company!! They will take your money via WorldPay or another intermediary who will send you confirmation of your payment. However, you will not receive an order acknowledgement from BatteriesPlus. You will not receive your order. You will email them but they won't reply. You will telephone them but their line is ALWAYS engaged. You will leave a 'ring back' but they won't ring back. You will try to contact WorldPay but there is no means of doing this. Finally, you will have to speak to your Bank and try to get your money back from your Card Issuer. Much easier (and cheaper) to buy from a non-scam Company!

Ordered 10 days ago..... no correspondence ,line busy unable to contact... I believe a scam company..Do not use...

Wish I’d read this page first. Why are PayPal, world pay etc endorsing this scam. Before you use them try sending them an email or contacting the phone number. Neither work. They have the phone scammed into a busy line so you think oh their busy. Nope it’s a scam. If you use you’ll then spend 60 days fighting for your money back with PayPal. Be warned people.

I placed an Order and used Paypal. I received an payment acknowledgement from Paypal but nothing from BatteriesPlus. I left it a couple of days and still nothing. Tried to call but phone was constantly engaged. Emailed but no reply. I them started to worry and started to read all of the bad press on Trustpilot.
After approx. 5 days I was going to lodge a complaint with Paypal and report the company but the goods then arrived all as per Order.
BatteriesPlus just need to sort out their Administration and Customer Communication skills to build back the confidence in using them.

I ordered a battery from this company on line. It arrived but when I discovered I needed a slightly different version, I sent it back and requested a refund (at least a month and more ago), whilst ordering the correct size. The battery arrived BUT I never got a refund OR any acknowledgement. The phone line is constantly engaged and I have paid for "ring back" which has never happened. I tried to send their contact form to them - but the CAPTCHA icon didn't appear so it wouldn't send. There is something odd going on here as when I tried to Google it's phone number ....there was no recognition of the company at the address provided. I urge everyone to avoid using this company
