I found the course very enjoyable. The knowledge I have gained regarding the user journey, KPIs & creating visual aids will be very useful for me in the coming months!

Currently in the Level 3 ICT Support Technician apprenticeship with Baltic. I have learnt alot about system that I am able to implement into my daily work. I would highly recommend Baltic as apprenticeship coaches.

My Level 3 Content Creator apprenticeship with Baltic has been an incredibly valuable experience, providing top-tier training and coaching that have significantly enhanced my skills and confidence. The courses, led by my coach Rob Sedgwick, were engaging and well-structured, blending visual and practical learning methods that made complex topics easier to grasp. Baltic’s unwavering support, including additional sessions whenever I needed help, ensured I never felt lost. My colleagues have noticed a huge improvement in my work, and I feel much more capable in my role. Over the course of the apprenticeship, I received excellent support from my coach, Craig. This included regular on-programme reviews and dedicated training sessions.

The training sessions were excellent and were delivered in two-day blocks by my coach. I appreciated the balance between independent learning, on the job learning, and extra support from my coach when I needed it.



I achieved a distinction in my apprenticeship.

In September 2024 I completed my Level 3 Data Technician apprenticeship with Baltic Apprenticeships while working as a Data Analyst at The APS Group.
The quality of training and support was outstanding throughout the course. My coach, Lily Baggott, was incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and encouraging—always available to guide me through challenges and help me stay on track. Thanks to her coaching and Baltic’s well-structured curriculum, I achieved a Distinction in my End Point Assessment (EPA).
This apprenticeship has significantly boosted both my technical skills and confidence. I've become much more proficient with data analysis tools and techniques.
I would absolutely recommend Baltic Apprenticeships to anyone looking to start or advance their career in data or tech. Their support, resources, and dedication to learner success truly set them apart.

I've been with Baltic the last 9 months in a Level 3 IT Support Apprenticeship. During this 9 months, my confidence in the workplace as well as knowledge in the field has exponentially grown due to the help of the Baltic staff and support. My coach Shannon has always been a contact of support for any questions no matter the relevancy, and has always given me the time of day to offer her support. The quality of training is great, having not only sat my course but also an extra-curricular in cloud computing all training supplied by Baltic. The apprenticeship has helped my skills and confidence by giving me the knowledge to speak to those that are within the technical field, as well as those outside of it. My confidence has grown, becoming an advocate for apprenticeships, speaking at events, as well as applying for the yearly NAS awards. I would recommend Baltic to anybody looking to get into apprenticeships, or further developing themselves.

My training 'Confident Data Communications' by Rosie last week was brilliant, we covered dashboard creation, data cleansing, data visualisation and pivot charts/tables. I look forward to using these data techniques in my role, thanks Rosie!

I cannot recommend Baltic enough. Everyone I spoke to there was extremely friendly and seemed to have an extremely Apprentice shaped mindset. Megan was my coach and she was not only fantastic at coaching but also just a pleasant person to talk to . They have a huge amount of support available for you to take advantage of during your apprenticeship and some optional extras you can do if you're aiming above and beyond.

I'm currently halfway through my Level 3 Marketing course with Baltic and the support from my coach has been brilliant.
The course is very practical, not just theory which makes it easier to apply what I’m learning into real campaigns.

If you’re looking to start your career in marketing and actually do real stuff while you learn, I’d recommend Baltic. The way they teach makes everything feel doable and even fun, and it fits really well around a full-time job without feeling overwhelming!!

Amazing hospitality and people with great skills in teaching and understanding the needs of those that are learning and working in a workplace.

I'm halfway through my Level 4 now after completing Level 3, and I feel really supported in my role. I've learnt so much already and have been able to apply more than I ever thought I would. It's not only helped me grow in my role but has also changed the way my whole department runs for the better.

The trainers are amazingly helpful, the sessions are well planned and structured and someone is always there to answer questions or offer guidance where required.

In 2022 to 2023 I did a level 3 data technician apprenticeship with Baltic. I started off with no experience in the subject whatsoever, and by the end of the course I was confident in my role and it really helped me develop as a person. I had Craig Murphy as my coach and he was so helpful and was always happy to set time aside for me when I needed it. He was also a lovely person and never made the lessons feel boring or tiring. I highly recommend this company if you are looking to start an apprenticeship.

Great staff, really go beyond to support the educational needs and any time frames

My apprenticeship with Baltic has given me a solid foundation to begin a career as a data analyst. While the onboarding process got off to a slightly rocky start where there was a mix-up with the address for my prospective employer—things quickly improved, but there were few administrative issues after that.

Even though I already had some experience in the field, I was placed on the Level 3 course. At first, I wasn’t sure this would be the right fit, but it turned out to be the right decision. It helped me properly understand the core principles and gave me a stronger grasp of the ‘how’ and ‘why’ behind the work. That said, the practical side of the curriculum at Level 3 was lacking. Then through on-the-job experience, I was able to build up my practical skills even further and became one of the more advanced learners in my group.

What really made a difference was the support I received from my coach, Craig Murphy. Even when the curriculum didn’t cover certain topics, Craig went out of his way to provide me with external resources to help me develop my skills further. He was consistently supportive, always available for guidance, and helped me work through any challenges that came up along the way.

Overall I would recommend applying through them however I'd be advising to apply for their level 4 and above and just keep your head cool during onboarding by them as it can be... lacking... but results are worth it at the end

The apprenticeship has been delivered very well, with clear deadlines and point of contact if there are ever any questions.

My coach, Craig Murphy, has been incredibly helpful throughout the apprenticeship and has always been willing and able to help with any issues I've had. Craig has made the course very digestible and encourages collaborative learning which has helped a lot with both my subject knowledge and interpersonal skills.

I applied to Baltic straight after my A levels and the whole process was straight forward and amazing, they contacted me about what sort of apprenticeship I wanted to do, what are my interests etc and managed to get me an IT apprenticeship within two weeks of me applying.

My IT coach Megan was amazing, I've never been very academic but she is an excellent teacher and has helped me massively with my IT course and IT skills which I still use in my day to day role. I managed to pass with a distinction grade.

Applied, heard back quickly, got set up with an interview right away. Offered a two-week course before my apprenticeship started to help me settle in more easily.
Really helpful staff, big thank you to Sean Johnson for immediately giving me updates about anything that came his way and setting me up with an apprenticeship.

I can't say whether have had a bad or good experience with Baltic Apprenticeships as I have applied to not one but two apprenticeships and not heard anything back. Nor have I heard anything back from an email in which i asked where I should attach a cover letter as there was no place to do so within the application form on their website.

If you want to progress in your career, avoid using this apprenticeship at all costs. I cannot speak for all coaches, but in my personal experience, my coach is clearly not qualified for her job. Constant errors when giving feedback on projects, almost as if she doesn't read it properly. Alongside this, you just receive AI-sounding feedback, which is not helpful at all! The sessions just consist of the coach reading off a PowerPoint for 7 hours... How does this help anybody? I have seen previous reviews about coaches treating you differently if you're not a 'pretty girl,' and it couldn't be more right. The rude attitude that I have gotten from my coach compared to other apprentices is ridiculous. Childish. Pathetic. Unqualified. Avoid at all costs if you're an apprentice or a business.

Edit: Nice to see them now faking reviews to boost the scores up. How they've gone from. 3 to now, a 4 is very interesting. Fake it til you make it I guess!
