Very bad customer service at Brent Cross shopping centre! They do not really care about customer requests! I asked for skimmed milk in my coffee and the lady just used the full fat one what was just sitting on the counter for l a while as it had a weird after taste. Avoid them if you don’t want to get food poisoning or if you have any allergies! They clearly don’t care

This Thursday morning, 29 June 23 we visited the Meadowhall Bakers & Baristas located in the middle of the shopping mall (not the one at the far end of the mall); just wanted to try them. So, it was our first time here. We were terribly shocked: the lady at the counter was not pleasant at all, no welcome, hardly wishing to talk to us...we are customers-people, you know, not objects. She had to make our two flat white, and put the hot sandwich in the oven but it seems a painful experience for her to serve us. In fact, when my husband collected the tray with the cups and the food he was ignored completely by this lady who did not look at him once. It could be that she has troubles at home or feels sad or what? To be fair the flat white tasted very nice, was hot, but also very expensive. The sandwich was ok, and also very expensive. A bad experience for us; one we won't repeat. Despite remaining polite we were treated with complete disregard: this is NOT RIGHT. Do something about it Bakers & Baristas. There is so much competition in this world of coffee shop; surely, you would want to shine ??
Update: was asked by the company itself to write an email to their customercare@bakersbaristas. com address, which I did on the 30 june; still no answer today the 6th of july and am not expecting them to follow up in anyway now. Obviously, not interested to care for us. No customer care in coffee shops, NOR at head office.

After a mix up with a card transaction last week the manager quickly resolved it today and she gave us complimentary drinks and an apology - excellent service and made up for the inconvenience 😊

Went first thing to Livingston shop and place was disgusting. Floors were filthy and covered in food, tables were dirty. Spoke to temporary manager who explained staff had not cleaned up night before and was very apologetic. Had my breakfast. Walked out after not finishing couldn’t sit in the place as was so unclean. Emailed head office and received auto response saying will respond in 7 days. Never heard a thing, not unexpected pretty much sums them up. Will not be going back!!

I always visit bbs Grimsby because of the friendly and professional staff! They always treat you as part of the family! Nothing is too much for them especially Katie! I have visited since 2015 when it opened and Carol and her team are Awesome!!!

Got a lovely hot chocolate with all the trimmings and a cheeky flake 😋

First and last time we’ll ever be in. Ordered 2 paninis and 1 toastie. ALL COLD in the centre. On returning these to the staff, I was met with a blank expression when I told them the issue. Customer service was non existent. All teenage staff. In fairness I wonder what their training involves. Clearly interpersonal skills are not a prerequisite for a job here. Perhaps management should work on customer service alongside heating the food properly. No idea how this place has a 5stars on the door rating. I’d give it zero stars except it’s not an option!!!! Visited the Meadowhall stores last week and received excellent customer service from Danny (and his colleague Amy). Danny remained professional & friendly despite the store being busy and the card machine not working. He kept a smile on his face despite some rude remarks from other customers and was extremely polite! Danny is a credit to your company. Will definitely be back!

Abysmal service. Two teenage girls on the till so miserable… looking like their entire families had been wiped out in a plane crash.
Food was quite literally thrown from the display case into the toastie warmer and then thrown in my general direction.
Toilets were like something out of a Saw movie.
Food was also below average but nothing compared to the worst and most unpleasant servers you could find west of the Bann.

The tastiest cupcakes ever eaten! Different tastes and beautifully matched! Even for our boy who is not a big fan of sweets, these were a delight, as well as for his classmates who enjoyed them with great appetite on his birthday!

The first and the last time to be here.
I went in the Meadowhall shop
Asking for cookiee, barista telling me me its not available despite the fact that more than 5 there. Tried the times but barista refused to listen and to Do double-check from my point of view.
Terrible place

So.. We ordered a medium latte, a small decaf American, a jaffa cake muffin and a millionaires shortbread. The cakes were lovely. The latte was nothing larger than a small at both Costa and Starbucks. The decaf looked like puddle water.. No strength to it whatsoever. My wife politely asked for more coffee in it. The baristas huffed and puffed, saying it was decaf. Eventually, she brought another slightly stronger cup to our table. She put it down, saying nothing and walked off. Meadowhall downstairs near Oasis.. You are very very poor. We won't be going there again. You need to train and supervise your staff. I'm not a trained baristas. .. But my sons are, and I can make far better decafe coffee using my machine at home. My sons would not have offered such poor quality. Very.. Very poor.

Prompt service and clean environment. Let down by the food. The ham and cheese roll was just that. Dry bread with no spread, mayonnaise or pickle. Very unpalatable. The gluten free blueberry muffin was soft, cloying and tasteless. The coffee was too hot to drink. Disappointed

Currently stood in the whiterose waiting to be served. The blonde haired woman’s and Asian woman think called Sabrina looked at me, continued their conversation whilst the young male was busy serving other customers. The same happened to the others in the queue, this resulted in 2 customers walking away. Absolutely disgusting customer service. Had to return for milk as they had forgotten the jug of milk

Went into Caherdavin BBs...
The woman on the till was having difficulty understanding what I wanted....in an unfriendly and condescending tone she said "its up to you darling" I thought she was very rude...won't be back.

Ordered a birthday cake on Wednesday for Thursday delivery as Friday boyfriends birthday. Got a txt from the DPD driver delivery will be between 10.25am-11.25am, never turned up, did not get a phone call. Then received a txt saying cannot deliver as product is perishable. I keep emailing bakersbaristas since it happened, got one reply since last week, saying they are investigating. I have asked for a refund, no word from them at all. Don t order from them.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER!!

Ordered a cake for a birthday, they used DPD to deliver and DPD destroyed it saying it was contaminated! Tried contacting this company but unlike most loyal companies they don’t care and will not return my emails.

Ordered the double chocolate cake and it was delicious. Delivered on time on Sunday well packaged and in perfect condition.
The cake looked and tasted amazing and was a very impressive size.
I will definitely order again and excellent service and value for money

Just been to the meadowhall outlet. Really poor service. We prefer a take out cup as we still like to be wary of covid. So we ordered a toasted teacake which was handled buy un gloved staff with no tongs to sight not once to go into the toaster but when it came out too. I asked for a knife so i could butter it and was asked “what to take it away”. Really! How on earth did they expect me to butter it without a knife. Please think about what you are doing and saying. Customer service is what makes a business. And wear gloves or use tongs when handling customers food. We dont know when you last washed your hands a face mask alone does not protect you and others from covid.
